Working on Steering Bobcat 863

It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that I replaced all these bushings. Nevertheless it has to get done in order to go to the next job. I hope this video helps someone out there dealing with a similar problem.

My lift release valve was broken off when I bought mine. Its such a tiny stem that comes out of the valve and then after they put threads on it the things is about an 1/8" diameter. Crazy. Thanks for the video.

Under that plate ontop of the pumps there is two wear blocks..they are most likely worn. Those need replacement to fix your problem..the play on the bolts on the linkage wont fix anything other than play on the stick. Or you can take those wear blocks and flip them over and it should fix it. Those are critical to fixing the problem you have.

As a fellow 863 owner I know where you are coming from, the timing belt and wheel bearings are the most frustrating though.

What is the normal engine temperature of the bobcat 863

Not running in the red! If your 863 is getting hot blow out oil cooler.
