The Styracosaurus is actually my favorite ceratopsian dinosaur! It’s nice to see beasts of the Mesozoic depicting dinosaurs with a vibrant skin-color, by taking inspiration from real life reptiles, amphibians and birds that are colorful. It gets boring to see dinosaurs being depicted with the same grey, brown or monotone colors all the time, so it’s great to see dinosaurs being depicted with color from a toy line that sticks with the scientific accuracy based on current knowledge.
Styracosaurus is my personal favorite dinosaur, and I really like the sculpt and articulation of this figure, just not a big fan of the color scheme. I hope we someday see an alternate paint job with some more earthy tones
This Styracosaurus figure from the Beasts of the Mesozoic Ceratopsian Series looks amazing. I might get this one for my collection alongside the other Ceratopsian Series from Beasts of the Mesozoic Series. Great review partner.
I personally like the bright colors on the ceratopsians. If you think about it, bright colors are a way to say 'dont mess with me, I'm dangerous' even in modern times. I like the idea that certain dinosaurs have the warning colors!
From what I’ve heard it won’t be reissued in this color. There are two versions of Old Buck currently in production and a planned repaint for Cyberzoic. However everything dinosaur has it in stock. It’ll cost a few bucks more but once stock runs out the price will skyrocket. www.everythingdinosaur.com/product/beasts-of-the-mesozoic-styracosaurus-albertensis/
Ummm…wish granted! They just did a poll for potential re-colors, and that one came out on top! (By a large margin!) I plan on getting it when it comes out, no hesitation!😁
Such a nice thing to contrast with the chaos of the world outside.

That’s why I love the line. The colors just make every figure pop. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to all the brown and green figures out there.
Beasts of the Mesozoic... AMAZING!
Your the best collector ever your so chill and aren’t a scalper and actual enjoy having the toys and understand that you are grown up and collect toys

Oh yeah I can see the resemblance lol
Great video! Do you know, by chance, if this figure will have a re-issue? I missed out on it and I realized I really wanted, D:
