You are God sent to me! Thank you for thoroughly explaining this to me. I’m post op 18 months from my left TKA and I still have pain daily. Walking, standing, sleeping, sitting and doing regular daily activities seems to make my knee hurt more at times. I feel like there is a lot of extra scar tissue that I can’t seem to break up. Surgery was 12-6-22, then MUA 12-14-23 and I feel that my pain should be gone. Therapy for 4 months. 🤦🏽♀️Some days my pain is really low about 3-5 and that’s awesome! It’s when it goes back to 10 or more that I don’t understand. However, I continue to do my exercises at home. I use ice, infrared lights, cupping, and diclofenac gel to aid in my pain. I’m thankful for your videos! I’ll continue to watch them to help figure out why I’m going through what I’m going through. THANK YOU!!!!!🙏🏽
You are very welcome, thank you for watching. Sorry to hear you are dealing with this continued pain. I hope you are able to find the right combination of treatments and interventions to feel better and have more manageable pain.
I asked my surgeon why is the pain constant and actually hasn't decreased at all 5 months out. He shrugged it off and said " I don't know, i asked him again he reply " don' t know ask PT. So I asked PT they said that they don,'t know. So I am 4 months, 3 weeks post op, stuck on the couch. 😢
Sorry to hear about this bad experience. If you are continuing to have the same intensity of pain what you're dealing with is much more likely chronic pain rather than post-surgical pain and healing. Here is a video that helps explain this and some management tips: ua-cam.com/video/kdFuBNaUZoE/v-deo.html
The decision to have a knee replacement is definitely a big one, but trust the advice of your surgeon and healthcare providers. Although some people do have issues after surgery such as continued pain, the majority of people have positive outcomes from surgery with improved pain, improved mobility and activity tolerance.
I did my Tkr almost 5 mths. My knee is still in pain like porking. On top of it, my feet is pinching like needle. During night , both feet pinching. Pls advise.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing such discomfort. It’s not uncommon to have ongoing pain and sensations like you’re describing after a total knee replacement, but it’s important to address these issues with your healthcare provider. They can help determine if your symptoms are related to the surgery, perhaps due to nerve issues or other factors. Hang in there, and I hope you find some answers and relief soon.
This is typically a normal symptom after surgery, but please don't hesitate to contact your physician with any concerns. Some things you can try include propping the leg up with pillows while sleeping, doing some gentle massage or stretching about 30 min before going to bed.
Great info! Only issue I occasionally have are little zappey feelings in the knee I had TKR; doesn't hurt just annoying 😅
Thanks for watching! Yes, these feelings are normal and as you said are often more annoying than harmful.

So sad. You need to continue asking your surgeon, because he must send you to have x rays or something to look inside your surgery.
No way! Yes bug that surgeon and anyone else you can til you get answers 😊

My goodness. Your surgeon is sounding like a mechanic treating a car part.
Iam having a TKR next month and every time I see one of these vids I have second thoughts
