- Eepp!! It’s finally here! Baby boys room reveal and tour! This is my favorite room in our house. Paul says he agrees. We love to just go and sit in it and enjoy all of its cuteness! I hope you all enjoy it too!

How refreshing to hear that you two longed for a baby since the conception of your marriage - God’s perfect way! What a peaceful and fun room for your precious baby boy! I cried tears of joy during your tour. Your excitement awaiting your firstborn brings to memory the excitement I had during my first pregnancy after infertility of four years. We also longed for a child right out of the wedding gate! My husband felt as if God called him to fast and pray for a child after three unfulfilled years. After fasting 21 days, he told me God had impressed upon him that “By this time next year you will have a child.” Well, by that time the following year, 1984, we had not one but two sons! We prayed specifically for twins and our much-loved Adam and Joseph were born on July 24! Our miracles just turned 38 yesteday! My four children loved the Frog and Toad books! Setting up my sons’ nursery was a delight and I would spend hours in there dreaming and rejoicing before and after their blessed birth! After having our sons, I went on to have two daughters, Hannah Rose and Laurel Emmaline, my two bushes. My three pregnancies were spaced out evenly over a decade. I had designed and stitched a crib quilt for Hannah Rose seven years before her birth, two years before my sons’ birth. Her name and quilt were chosen out of my great faith that our generous Lord would bless me with children as He did with Hannah when giving her Samuel. The meaningful Scripture verses that birthed her name are stitched into her handmade quilt: 1 Samuel and Song of Solomon 2:1.

Frog and Toad was one of my son’s favorite book series when he was little, along with Caps For Sale and the Richard Scarry books. I love the woodland theme, the book rack on the wall, and the amazing revival your sweet Mamaw did on the blanket! Praying for you and Luca and for the placenta to move on out of the way! 🙏🍄🐇💙

I am quite impressed with the peaceful and old fashioned atmosphere these mushrooms and forest themed elements create. A haven of harmony in this crazy, fast paced world. I love the blanket and that your grandma fixed it. This company ist insane to expect moms of newborns to handwash anything. So impractical.

I love the personal touches such as the blanket that your grandma fixed for you. The hours she must have put into the stitching is a labor of love and it makes the blanket that much more special! Also the book that your mother in law wrote the sweet message to Luca! I love the whole room tour but those little touches are my favorite 😊

WOW, WOW, & WOW…. !!! An absolute JOY-filled sight for weary & longing eyes; eyes that see what seem to be ‘the same thing’ over & over & over with every nursery ‘reveal’, walk-through, home- tour, or DIY home decor book/magazines!
My education & career was in Early Childhood Development, my Father was a Pediatrician & my Mom was a Teacher (Aren’t we all Teachers? The question is… when others are with us, what are they learning). I digress. Circling back…
What part do I love most about this nursery? The part I love most is that I believe I got to know Luca’s extraordinarily amazing parents more through seeing their deeply & delightfully meaningful, beautiful choices, their wise preparations, thoughtful organization & the fruits of their touch-to-the-core labor of love (the real deal)!
Precious Parents of baby, Luca; Morgan & Paul,
Scripture (from your shower) speaking to you & your son sprinkled throughout the nursery… I am unable to think of anything more powerful!
The beautiful whimsy, wonder, pure delight, & JOY, etc. that you created for Luca with your extraordinary work with those absolutely beautiful stickers …. 💘… An Early Childhood Kiss! (~Hope that doesn’t sound strange, but if people use the phrase, ‘a Chef’s Kiss’, why not this one?!)
Then, you zoom in on the stunning blanket & unpack the backstory & whoa… the tears flowed here!
The book, ‘Frog & Toad’ (Paul’s childhood copy 🥰) was/is an absolute fave here & when you showed the beautiful photo inserted & read the note from Paul’s Mom (& Dad) written in it, tears… again!
Don’t think for a second that the ‘age appropriately hung’ book holders (or the book, ‘Moo’) were lost on me!
Morgan, it IS the sweetest room I’ve ever seen!
(The thought that Luca might one day see this video when he is old enough to realize absolutely all of the love… ‘every stitch’ so clearly from beginning to end, gives me tingles!

I think i read something about calming neutral colors being the best for babies because they think all the bright primary colors are causing problems like add, I'm wondering if you're following the same logic? This is the most calming serene cute baby boy room ever! Objectively better than bright colors lol. Congrats!

If you will have homebirth I hope it is not in water :-) babies suppose to be born to air, not water ❤
babies are contained in a sac fluid up until the moment they're born. If born into water then it's a familiar feeling to the baby cause they've lived their whole life in a sac of fluid. If you are concerned about a baby getting oxygen, they still receive oxygen from the umbilical cord. There are risks associated with whatever type or birth you choose whether water or land
