To be fair Atrioc was pretty good, he's like average level, Stanz was beginner level and Lud was basically irrelevant lmao. It's just that Artosis is THAT good to make an average player look like complete shit. And the most insane part is that the best players in the world make HIM look like shit too. So many levels in that game, it's actually insane.
Wait in starcraft is it that one game with like a few different races like 3 i think. Also like any gathering game if you have this many more people in a team it should be a insant win if your half decent. Because no matter how good your enimy is. You just have so many more resources that it doesn’t even matter. The only way someone thats very good even has a chance is that they take them out early before they have a chance to build up. Or take over enough of the map quick enough that you can actually overload them and have enough resources to make up enough for how much they make. Though this can be destroyed from propery corrlation bewteen attacks. If you try building up your defenses and preparing for long haul your gonna lose it for sure. Because they will just completly overwelm you with relentless amounts of troops from their insane amount of resources. Now if ludwig actually did something maybe they could of won. No matter how little he did as long as he actually did something it would be enough. I had this experience first hand
For those unfamiliar with Starcraft, Artosis is a professional CASTER, not a professional player. He is still a very good Starcraft player, but not as refined in build mechanics and unit control where pros really shine.
Hey, Ludwig won the last game! Sure, he was on Artosis's team, and it was touch and go for a bit, but he won! Also won with the cheese strat, so Lud won 2 out of 3 games. Technically.
RTS are definitely that kind of game with huge-ass skill gaps. Hell, even between amateurish players; I remember playing AoE 2 with two friends, and me and one of the two had to always team up against the other AND create "honour rules" (basically, no early rush) because the third guy had a way better APM, probably thanks to piano. We even all kinda acknowledged that he was the best by far, that I was decent enough at defense and resource gathering to keep up in these domains, and that my teammate really wasn't that great at either speed nor strategy, so even between three amateurs we all knew who would win against who in 1v1s before even clicking play.
@@mareksicinski3726 From my own experience, Starcraft seems similar in complexity but faster in pace, so yeah. Skillgaps would be even more pronounced.
@@Jaime_Protein_Cannister Meh, the intention was clear enough to make the games enjoyable, at least for me. Then again, APM dude wasn't mean, just REALLY good, so he kinda just went soft early-game before we were ready to have an actual brawl.

Artosis has about 300 apm on average. 350 during peak combat. 220-260 during regular game play. He's an A+ to S- Player on Korean servers with an average of 2100-2200 MMR. He is a professional caster and has played for 22 years. Very skilled and intelligent player, however very salty and rages a bit often. Professional players have from 350 to 550 APM in game usually. 300 at a minimum. They usually have 2400 to 2800 MMR. If anyone was wondering how close he was to actually pro.

Message at first minute : Lud doesn't know how to play at all? damn he dead. edit : that was very fun to watch. The last game probably was exhausting to play hehehe.
We need more of this type of challenges, like rocket league but lud has to be the one scoring, maybe only pistol valorant, vs infinite money, idk, it would defenetly make it interesting
I did this experiment with my coworkers in sc2 I was diamond vs 3 golds/silver players. I crushed them all vs me at the same time for over a year.. I'll just say there is no way in hell they win vs artosis... PS: just got to game 2 ... jesus christ...
The Korean pro-scene is very much still alive. StarCraft ain't the mainstream juggernaut it was 10-20 years ago, but it's still got a playerbase as large as StarCraft 2
Atrioc’s team idea reminded me of hand and brain chess which is my favorite variant. One person picks the piece, other player picks the square, surely nothing goes wrong from there
The guys were great, i am impressed how well they managed to keep up, Ludwig was doing alright, i was afraid that Artosis will get mad at him, because normally i see him angry all the time, but he was probably having fun too : ) I would not mind to see more of this : D
I have no idea how to play starcraft but I've played somewhat similar games and it kept looking like Ludwig would group troops send them to attack something then group them again so they would stop and send them to attack the same thing
Everyone (with or without brood wars experience) can beat artosis in this 3 simple steps. 1) pick protoss; 2) build an arbiter and a bunch of dragoons; 3) fly your arbiter into RT base and recall your army. It is that simple! p.s. RT apm compared to when he ladders looks like he is just playing casually
If Artosis weren't able to communicate with Ludwig on the second match and it were up to him to figure out what to do with the units, the other two might have had a chance. He may have suicided most of the units until all their bases ran out of minerals.
You should do a “can 3 gamers beat 1 pro in apex legends” and do it where you, atrioc, and stanz are on a team and the pro no-fills, highest ranking team wins. Like so Ludwig might see this vvv. You could do this with thatpunchkidlive, zylbrad, trunoom, ottr, xkibitz, or others
