Is it the Lord’s Supper you are talking about or communion. Communion really only means fellowship or participation. So we presume you are talking about the Lord’s Supper as the word of God calls it..There are no elements in the Lord’s Supper But passover bread and passover cup(wine) while we participate in the Lord’s body and blood 1 Corinthians 10:16-18. The Passover Lord’s Supper is the fulfillment of the Lord’s Passover. Luke 22::13-20. There is only one perfect sacrifice to end all sacrifices and one continuous celebration supper proclaiming Jesus death until Jesus returns in glory. Was it the church was broken or Jesus body?Discern Jesus body broken We get the same benefits as the chosen people got when eating the Passover and applying the blood Forget not all His benefits Psalm 103
