One of the most underrated Flamenco
Guitarists of the time!......He was just so good, plus that great smile he always had......Thank you Vincente
I studied under Vincente Gomez 50 years ago in LA. A great and humble man, and a gifted guitarist. I still have original scores and adaptations in his own hand writing.
Sir, you are one Lucky Man, in my humble but honest opinion, to have had such an opportunity in this life, to have learned directly from one of the top players in the art of the Flamenco guitar. But you know what, when it came right down to it, they all went for master classes with Agustín Castellón Campos aka "Sabicas" even traveling to the US to do so, in Spain it was Niño Ricardo that was the 'man' for ages, but in the US, it either Sabicas, Serrano, Escudero, Monje, Romero, or Gómez, but not necessarily in that order. Check my FB facebook.com/Angelo.Luberto58
Please publish the scores.
He was also my teacher when I was a teen in Los Angeles. He was tough.
Do you sell the scores?
My dad knew him in LA and was a big fan. Later we spent 1 1/2 years in Spain. Gets into your soul!
Super. TY
Muchas gracias.
This video with Gomez's recital is a true gift. Many thanks.
