I have noticed in almost all the comments here and in other videos that people wave off sub 30 levels as that's just a few hours of work. What everyone of these commentators seems to forget is that true new players do not know what to do, or how or why. YOU might be able to get to level 30 in a couple hours, but a true new player without input from anyone might take a few weeks before they learn the ropes and get into the swing of things, potentially giving up because they can't seem to get anywhere. A video that targets these new players and guide them through level 3 to level 30 or 40 would be very helpful and YES allow those players to finish training to 30 or 40 within a day or few (depending on online time).

If you can get access to p2p, then surely you can use Google or UA-cam to find a good startup guide or two. There are so many readily available resources now that any new person who actually wants to get good at OSRS(or any game) can do so. The new player excuse doesn't really work, it's just self-admission of being a lazy bastard. I haven't been a noob in years and I've played quite a few new games.

Getting to level 50 is only 100k xp per stat(which isn't that difficult), and levels you to 55ish(or 48ish if you are maging/ranging while still getting defense, because of how leveling works), which is plenty strong to handle green dragons assuming you're using a decent weapon(though I would also recommend protect prayers for that particular method). If you aren't at that point, simply pick an easier target on the list, you'll reach that point in strength extremely quickly. (For comparison, max level requires 13m xp in all melee combat stats including prayer.) I think this guide is more useful for returning players/alt accounts than brand new players anyways, to remind/inform them of methods they never used before.

I think the gap what experienced players and new players define as low level may really hurt the future of osrs and rs3 in the long term. If I did not play Runescape before I would probably never have started, since it is full of players who make fun of new players while they should celebrate them. In my opinion, too many experienced players hate on new players. Okay cool dude, you put in shitloads of hours into grinding and think new players do not get it yet. Fun fact: you also didn't when you started out as a kid 10 years ago. Also content creators are missing the gap and this video proves it. I put a lot of time in a new osrs account for one month and I can barely fight these monsters yet, but you call them low level. It is just weird and new players feel it and move on.

Blue dragons are love and life. If your other methods fit my money making/skilling preferences I would worship you. Admittedly, im a little salty this video made the blue dragons more crowded than they were. I can’t blame you for reporting a wicked method though. I’ll be watching for a method that makes up for the world hopping I have to do now!
You also dont need a shield to fight blue drags you could easily safe spot them with range and can always pray protect from magic if you're worried about being aggro'd while collecting the dragon bones/etc loot

For f2p you want, in this order for lvl, hill giants, moss giants, ogresses. After a couple days at the ogresses at corsair cove, you should have enough for a bond

Yeah, it wasn't that low back in the day. But nowdays that people know what methods make training fast (such as having a fast weapon & training str and attack to at least 20 before even switching to def). It doesn't take much to get all your skills to 50

XDfunnyguy all of the good content is p2p tbh. If you just started bc of mobile you’ll probably end up quitting unless you pick up a membership. Back when we were younger f2p felt huge but it really isn’t. Best f2p monsters are probably moss giants and lesser demons, or f2p pking. Membership can pretty much be paid for just by playing if you train the right skills. For example, training smithing for blast furnace and then running steel bars or higher can pretty much net you a membership bond in a day if you play a lot or a few days if you play less frequently etc.

They also drop the giant key which allows you to acces Obor, which is a boss monster that can drop various rune weapons and armor pieces, and the hill giant club which is about 150k. Moss giants are basically stronger versions of the hill giants. I'd recommend being around 50-60 combat, with at least 40 defence so you can wear a rune chainbody. They commonly drop nature and law runes, as well as big bones. They also have a few notable weapon/armour drops, such as the black sq shield and the mithril sword, and they have a fairly common drop of iron and steel arrows as well. Lastly they drop mossy keys, which can be used to access bryophyta, which is another boss monster. She commonly drops various rune armour pieces and weapons, as well as drops of 100 cosmic/chaos/death/nature/law runes. For ice troll runts: All you have to do is deal 1 damage to get the drop. It's a pretty good way to get rune kiteshield as an ironman.

By the time you’ve completed Fremmy Isles, you almost certainly have a better method than killing ice runts for 200k an hour and no xp.

Wildy slayer is pretty dank, but kinda risky. If you 3-item or range it's not too bad though.

Lots of options. I would generally just alch for experience. Lots of people do rune items as they are normally at alch price on the ge.
Stuff like dragonhide armor, rune items, etc. I personally prefer just alching my loot from slayer depending on the prices.
