Great comparison. I've used both myself and in actual game play i still like the hammers better. In real game play having a quicker reload is crucial. Also in the actual game play you used the freedom hammer which is 5% more damage. All in all great video.

If you look you'll see that hammer charges mother ship way faster...has fixed reload...by pass physical sheilds...blast effect that damages multiple enemies... While glory only has high burst damage and lockdown... Glory is hit and run weapon that's why you mostly see it on the Lynx... Meanwhile hammer is for long term brawling that's why you mostly see these weapons used on fenrir and other tanks.... Another note is that Glory is cheaper to upgrade because of the rarity...and really depends on your play style so choose wisely 👍
I prefer hammers simply because of the constant rate of fire with a fixed reload. Once Glory slows down after emptying the clip it can be a problem, especially factoring in manual aiming. Of course there are certain builds that favour the Glory but overall i prefer the properties of Hammer. I have a question Aygir: I have Karura Aether with Karura Glaive and Lance, what modules do you run on yours if you don't mind me asking? TIA.
It makes sense to go all attack modules. 4x OR or 4x Cannibal Reactor even, because it has become more about destroying Rooks and Luchadors in current meta.
@AYGIR I was just curious as I was running 3x Onslaught with 1x repair amp but I'll try the maximum damage set up. My main concern is getting locked down but it's a case of risk vs reward I suppose. Thanks for the info!

The only problem with hammer is that you have to run it on a tank like fenrir or something. Coz if you run it in the likes of lynx or something, there will be time when you started firing a target they went to their ability or phase shift but you already started unloading your clips, you are left in a difficult situation where you have to unload everything and wait for 5 secs or you keep hanging with the remaining clips hoping it will be enough. In such situations, even a mk1 level 12 glory will have your back better .
I like the Glory since itcwas buffed but now it got nerfed. But i wished it reloaded faster and instead of fires while reloading. It is also cheaper. Otherwise i still wouldn't mind using the hammers. Yeah. A tough one. Especially when deciding which to spend silver on.
both are quiet balanced weapons with ups and downs, glory’s are better at close range brawling whereas hammer has the range advantage, hammer’s medium range compensates for its lower damage, hammers are better at killing bots with resistance and shields whereas glory’s are for more fun brawls overall i have biasses too, i prefer the hammer
@ringadingding7667 Invader has defence for 5 seconds when it uses its ability....and the hammers blastcharge bypasses any kind of resistance. Glory on the other hand does much more burst damage but struggles against resistance bots
2 be honest , Both are quite Powerful & should be in Everyone's Hangar ( If they have ANY common sense ) However most don't . NO PEOPLE I'm not putting you down .. Its just apparent only a small fragment of the community have already come to the Conclusion that both of these weapons are WORTH THE time & Resources Plus the Effort to get them level them & USE THEM Unfortunately MANY Folk like the 🌠🌠Sparkling NEW weapons🌠🌠🌠🌠 that are just jaw dropping when using them on the Test Server Thinking they are the ones to get No matter the Cost . THE Experienced & Savy Players already know about this They Know What " W O R K' s " You Use. The Weapons & BOT's that Dole out the Pain Faster & MORE EFFICIENTLY Those are the ones they use Exclusively Rather than other Robots or Weapons of lesser power .. Sure they got everything worth having & that which is Inferior , Well it gathers Dust till PIXONIC decides to take a 2nd look @ it & buff it up .. Am not surprised @ all by Glory's Power. Its been buffed up in the past while its lesser kin Only recently got a Smigen's worth of a buff. Namely tbe Corona's & Halo's .. I do have both weapons in my Arsenal but with change comes My Own Bad habits of mine Spending Resources to get New ones & level them up Quickly. I've only 3 of the Hammers so I'LL eventually get the fourth. I already Have the 4 Glories only 3 of them are @ MK1-10 .. The last is STILL fresh in its box it came in 😆 .. Good Video Aygir . The Glory had higher burst damage and consistent damage but the Hammer is more useful in the current meta due to many players using the Rook, and you’ll also see some Anglers and Shells, both are very powerful brawling weapons but Hammer is a better option at this point of the game Also that Behemoth is literally jogging in both gameplays 😂
@@Man-ds9ir It was mentioned in my main comment. Shells and anglers both have phyisical shields. And beside that the rook is a popular asses nowdays in the meta. The glory is for brawling and works well against the lynx and other robots such as thoses. ( Nether, Lynx, even seraph, ect...) Hammer do the same job at the same time but work better on shield enemys, robots like fenrir, fafnir, falcon and robots like shell rook and angler. Glory does not do as well agaist theses and instead works better on robots who rely on a forcefield or bots with lower hp such as Lynx, Nether, Crisis ect... and so both stand their ground in the meta. None of them is objectivly better then the other in the current meta and both hold their own. I suggest you understand the current meta before stating a weapon is better then the rest. I have only provided you with a boring essay because I have nothing better to do as of now. Thank me later for this useless information.
@@2-nostalgic Glory almost *ALWAYS* performs better for me and most people that run them. Hammer reload too long, and effective range is low. It’s not like you’ll be fighting a rook as a normal bot anyways.
It's not all about the bot, but including Kestrel, battleship, Us Conduit and the precise timing of those for that thing. Ophion itself is very strong indeed but not over limits. Maybe it could use some extra seconds for the ability cooldown though.
I'd go hammer because if you get a glory then by that time you are already pay to win and hammer is better at brawling because glory takes forever to reload and also cuz hammer is legendary

Noted it but still, both these pilots aren't worth it in my opinion.

Yep that was an exception match for Aether. Usually I'd recommend all attack modules.
I chose hammer for anti resistance but since the meta hws so many fqst robots the glory is a better choice bc of lockdown
