I’m currently going through prerequisites for nursing school and working as a CNA and it’s literally draining me. But i have to do what is necessary to get to CRNA. I honestly appreciate you help all of us out.
You are literally the first person I hear say that you didn’t feel like you were smart enough (imposter syndrome) for nursing. After 5 years of uncertainty I’m currently back finishing my BSN and studying for the NCLEX as a repeat test taker. Failure & fear really paralyzed me! I’m So proud that I didn’t give up on my dream of becoming a CRNA. In 2019 I went to the Diversity CRNA simulation event at the University of Miami and it changed my life 😭❤️
I am an aspiring CRNA. Was working on frontlines during the pandemic for UC Davis which changed my interest from medical schools to Nursing schools. So, will graduate with BSN in 2026, and later on, want to get into CRNA schools. Anesthetists are such an important part of our healthcare system because without anesthetists surgery may not be possible. Thank yOu for all the advice and motivation.
just letting you know that you were my motivation to become a CRNA and i appreciate you sharing your knowledge to get us there! i can't wait to come back and let you know when i finally get accepted into CRNA school! (just got into SICU this May from about a year in PCU)
Do I need Maryland RN license to get admitted in Johns Hopkins University as I have got license from NY? Please do elaborate on compact and non-compact states licenses for the requirements of CRNA.
Thank you for the info! I’ll will be graduating in December with my associate. The end goal is to be a CRNA. Will the school except an online bachelor of nursing?
For foreign trained nurses, if we get to the states with a nursing bachelor's and an ICU master's degree from our home country, let's say (Europe, Spain), can we get into a CRNA program the same way locals can ?

Can you make video on how to renew the license nowadays ?

I appreciate you so much.
Does it help being a minority to get into CRNA program?

I would definitely email a CRNA program director prior to applying to see!
