We all know the dangers of radiation, but with the right precautions, you CAN prevent accidental death or even -- eewww -- ghoulification - Three dog. This has never been more true, but now with this mod you actually run the risk of actually becoming a ghoul.

This mod sounds awesome as it increases the roll playing aspect of fallout. I would love to see the mod be implemented as a standard game play mechanism with specific perk tree add ins. Possibly allowing a player to gain access to perks like animal friends but specific to ghouls. It could be as simple as controlling same lvl ghouls but also could be as technical as to getting a ghoul companion and increases them to a glowing one and or adding quests specific to the mod and or perks. So many ideas and so little time. But I digress. It will be fascinating to see how this mod could be implemented into your series/ content as well as maybe a spin off for a new playthrough. As always thanks for all the amazing work you do and until the next. Cheers.
It would be awesome if there was a mechanic that made your character slowly turn feral, but becoming feral is basically the equivalent to death.
turning fallout into dark souls, except instead of hallowing you feralize
When you go feral every one is hostile and u can't use guns, when exposed to enough radiation you become a glowing one
Perhaps a script add-on to declare stage 5 radiation = race swap to feral ghoul potentially acting much like the last stages of vampirism in Skyrim. I'll take a look if it's possible and do some work.
@Skoldire , I think there should be a mortification to the radiation meter, it can be your FERAL meter, If you ever played vampire the masquerade you would know the lower your humanity the higher a chance the AI will take over your character when they go into a frenzy state. It would work like that in Fallout 4, The higher your radiation the more you have FERAL OUTBURSTS where you would attack anything you see and if your radiation meter fills (at a much slower pace) completely you will become permanently feral and is considered a game over, Your character will turn into a feral ghoul and you get to see him or her attack random people and wander about.

oh that gives me an idea the mod could slightly change your characters voice make it more crackley
What if instead of ghouls being completely non hostile maybe they would turn only aggressive if you got too close to them
By lore, feral ghouls are friendly to ghouls.
Hair loss to reflect Radiation poisoning would've been a nice touch. And more susceptability to bleeding damage. Otherwise, meh - not a big fan of most ghouls. Feral Ghouls not attacking is a bit off to me, you look "loosely" like them, but they are also feral and you certainly don't move like them. I feel like they should still be hyper aggressive.
The hair loss indeed. I know there are some ghouls in the fo4 world with hair, but I kind of like the idea that there would be unique ghoul hairstyles. I'll console some new hair akin to the radiated messy stuff, or remove it completely.
The ferals not being aggressive to standard ghouls is lore friendly I believe. I think it should be a you have to be reeeeaal close to them for like 30 secs before they go hostile so you could zipzoom past them if needed.
@@Skoldire I think they NEVER attack another Ghoul. The Vault 88 Overseer lived for over 200 years in a cave surrounded by feral ghouls and was shocked when they attacked the player, meaning that as far as she knew, they were supposed to just roam around, probably because they never attacked her in all those years, she didn't know how they would react next to a human.
Feral ghouls have never attacked non feral ghouls in a fallout game. They are always non hostile to their own kind. Changing that for a mod would not be lore friendly. Infact, super mutants don't even attack ghouls in fallout 3 because they see them as kin since both mutants and ghouls have been exposed to a certain degree of one of the FEV strains.

Awesome! I have researched past and present fallout games and do miss the beneficial radiation perks and abilities. I don't mean things like led belly I mean purposefully getting radiated to heal faster, regenerate lost or damaged limbs, regenerate AP and stamina, becom stronger, become more intelligent, gane durability and at max radiation sickness become immune to radiation. So playing as a child of atom or as a ghoul could be a reality. Now 76 has what rads and a few other cards to help out. Lets become a glowing one and raise the dead. Yep rad child, ghoulish, nuclear anomaly and atomic, I miss those.

I think this might be a common bug, on the mod page it says uninstalling after fully turning might cause issues

I don’t really know how to feel about feral ghouls not attacking because they still attack normal ghouls so why wouldn’t they attack the player I don’t know but other than that this mod looks very good and good video too
I don't think they do attack regular ghouls
They don't attack regular Ghouls in lore. They don't attack Roy in Fallout 3 and they don't attack the Bright Followers in New Vegas
They attack normal Ghouls in game to keep it balanced

I'm not the only one having problems with this, right? I get all the popups saying "ooooo your a ghoul now oooo" but my character still looks the same?

The ghoulifaction is not on Xbox but you can get a mod that makes you regenerate health from radiation and it will make you a ghoul

Not possible, since it relies on F4SE
This mod would be so dangerous to use on an xbox even if it was possible. Uninstalling it causes issues, even on pc. You'd likely have major trouble getting the game back to normal without being on PC. Even creation club mods can break your game on the xbox, and you can never uninstall them. Something like this would basically be guaranteed to brick your game.

Cool mod but i made my character handsome for a reason to role play a rich charming and handsome badass that can woo women easily id love to try it but i cant uninstall it after im fully gjoulified? Yeah no
