I was never a planner, always an impulsive person. But then I quit my job and went to per diem, so I needed a planner to write down my work days, then I could know when I was available to be the impulsive girl that I am🙂I would love love love to be the recipient of your planner example journal! How wonderful to see a crafter without manicured nails. I get depressed when I look at the You Tube videos made, it seems, by women who all have perfect French manicures while I go to work on my various art projects with battered hands that have been cleaning and cooking and gardening. I mean, you can tell that my hands and nails have well and truly been used, and sometimes when I'm making chunky charms I use my fingernails as tools so they get torn and then I have to cut them all short. Anyway, Nik, more power to your elbow, girl, I think you must be as terrific as all the wonderful things you create.

I am definitely using this next year. It's a gorgeous kit. I'm not a planner person either. I just go with the flow like you said. lol. But, I do have a calendar insert where I keep track of appointments and things that happened, so I will remember to journal about it later. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is this kit is amazing and I love that I can "make it my own" by printing out and organizing the different elements in any way I want. Ok now I am going to watch all the other videos. Thanks Nik! :D Oh and please throw me in for the this little travel planner. It's perfect!

The world defiantly needs more old n grungy haha
I'm definitely a hybrid Planner/Journaler, so this kit (which I've already bought) is PERFECT for me... although I think it will take me a while to get my head around combining the two! I've been using a bullet journal for nearly two years and have only recently discovered the journaling and junk journal worlds. I've been known to use the odd sticker and bits of washi tape in my bullet journal!!. So, I've decided to create a two-month insert for the final two months of this year to 'test drive' to see how I get on and if I need to adjust the layouts etc. I've already customised the weekly planner spread as my week starts on Sunday. Can't wait to try this out and may even do a little video flick through for my UA-cam Channel :) Thanks Nik for another great kit!! I'm now distracted from my long junk journal to-do list!! :) x

Hi Nik, Better late then never. Ha Ha! I have just found your videos on UA-cam, and have spent a very unexpected snowy day watching many of your videos, while playing with some journaling tags. You have some wonderful ideas and I am really excited to try a few of your journal projects as well. We are having ridiculous weather here in Canada and that just gives me a great excuse to stay indoors and create all day. I have gone on your etsy shop and ordered the planner kit. Very excited to make some up for my sisters for Christmas this year. (Yes a long way off but with this snow I am in the mood. :0)Thank you again for all your great ideas!
Great kit!! It's very versatile, as you explained. I came to journal making through planning, only 15--20 years ago, when planners were very few. There was a website that had info and sharing and that steered planners to the GTD method, which worked very well for me. It keeps you obsessed over your planner and actually does help you get everything done. Best wishes on this great idea!! Dolores
my niece and cousin are both starting nursing school and I am thinking I will do a journal for them with a combo of journaling and planning along with quotes from medical professionals of the past with room to expand or replace the pages each semester. WHEW! I have my work cut out for me lol

I love LOVE everything you do! The ric-rac/surge stitch always looks modern to me, because vintage sewing machines didn't have that function. Would you consider making straight stitching and then print those off for us? I love what you've done here by copying the lace too!

This is a "style" that will neeverrr go out of date. I absolutely love it. And of course, I would treasure anything that you made, so please include me in your drawing. I remember sitting an hour, parked in Etsy waiting for one of your Tomes to go up for sale. But because I had been parked there, I needed to refresh and the Tome sold out in minutes. Hi Nik, Better late then never. Ha Ha! I have just found your videos on UA-cam, and have spent a very unexpected snowy day watching many of your videos, while playing with some journaling tags. You have some wonderful ideas and I am really excited to try a few of your journal projects as well. We are having ridiculous weather here in Canada and that just gives me a great excuse to stay indoors and create all day. I have gone on your etsy shop and ordered the planner kit. Very excited to make some up for my sisters for Christmas this year. (Yes a long way off but with this snow I am in the mood. :0)Thank you again for all your great ideas!

Great kit!! It's very versatile, as you explained. I came to journal making through planning, only 15--20 years ago, when planners were very few. There was a website that had info and sharing and that steered planners to the GTD method, which worked very well for me. It keeps you obsessed over your planner and actually does help you get everything done. Best wishes on this great idea!! Dolores
my niece and cousin are both starting nursing school and I am thinking I will do a journal for them with a combo of journaling and planning along with quotes from medical professionals of the past with room to expand or replace the pages each semester. WHEW! I have my work cut out for me lol

I love your style and your taste in junk journals. I was looking for something in this style to put my grandaughters school papers I have collected . The oldest one just started college so I have lots of their artwork and penmanship pages. You have given me many ideas. Thank you very much. I love LOVE everything you do! The ric-rac/surge stitch always looks modern to me, because vintage sewing machines didn't have that function. Would you consider making straight stitching and then print those off for us? I love what you've done here by copying the lace too!
