- De retour d'Éthiopie, Guy de Saint-Cyr revient avec de magnifiques images du lac de lave de l'Erta Ale à son niveau le plus haut, prêt à déborder. Cette vidéo a été réalisée par Guy de Saint-Cyr et Seifegebreil Shifferaw les 23 et 24 octobre 2016 lors du voyage de reconnaissance de début de saison.

A filmagem está muito parada e isso tirou a qualidade , a gente só ver as costa o homem e muito pouco ver o vulcão .
I don't like people like this. lol They're too risky. They are the type that does not come back one day. You are sitting in front of the television when 'Breaking News' comes across the screen:
"If you felt a trimmer today, it was Mount Erta Ale finally blowing Her top around 3:33PM this afternoon sending smoke ash and lava into the sky in excess of 150 feet. It has been slowly erupting since 1999 and reached it's peak today. With this beautiful distant observation come sad moments. Two hikers belonging to the Aventure Volcans tour group went up around 1 pm and didn't return before the mountain blew. When word got back that they were still photographing the ridge at the time of the Yahweh, crew members went up and got as close as safety would permit but unfortunately, they could not reach their crew in time. Condolences go out to their families. We are sad to see them go. In other news..."
I am going there. If you go to Ethiopia and spend your time at Addis Ababa, you ate wasting your time
