I see from video ...I see that the ribbon all connected together and not cut .but the different colors along sides are not sewn together vertically...that is not a issue ? Just wondering. Love video because you explain the process.most just video with no measurements.Thank you!

My first one was way long because I just went by the chart Angela has and i don’t like long tutu too. I did one last night and made it shorter and it turned out better. Definitely if we’re making these for sale gotta make it simpler so it will take less time.

That came out gorgeous! Just beautiful! I’d feel so satisfied with that product! I agree. I saw a tutorial where they said to hot glue the ribbon but I just couldn’t do that! Lol I mean why not sew it for a more professional look in the detail. Plus some glue yellows and looks a bit nasty/tacky over time. I loved the tutu column you had. I’d love to get a better look at that! I’d love a sewing garage tour! How you organize and set it up for efficiency and maybe how you pack and ship your items? Please. Also do you ever use 2” ribbon?

I am really struggling with the tulle lining up and staying together. 😭 I have made 3 tutus so far and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. Is it because I buy it by the yard at the store? Does it make a huge difference to just keep bolts if tulle? Also....do you do anything with your scrap tulle?

I’m confused. So what made u cut 12 yards of tulle to cut into 6 yards each color? Or just with 5-6t u need 12yrds of tulle what about the other sizes?
If you are making a 7” tutu you can get away with only cutting 6 yards , because the tulle is 54” long so you get 2 sets of 7” If you are making a bigger size then you have to cut the 12 yards of each color
Play with your tension and stitch length , I have my tension at 2 and length at 3 But every machine is different, also make sure you are using the right thread weight for your machine

Hobby lobby for the ribbon, and for a one color tulle skirt I cut 12-14 yards depending on size , I have more videos on other tutus 💕

No it’s not an issue, I actually think it adds more fluff because the layers of tulle push off each other making it look more full 😉
