And after all this time of me saying it wasn't going to happen here we are I made a YT Short. For edits/colorizations that don't last longer than a minute expect them to go here then and I thought I was going to use these to shitpost...well...actually maybe I still can. First things first

DustTale is an UnderTale A.T. which means Alternate Timeline instead of A.U. which means Alternate Universe. The difference is whether or not the place takes place during, before, or after, OG Undertale such as Undertale Red/Green/Yellow, HorrorTale, and GlitchTale, those are ATs. AUs are more like StorySwap, AlterTale, and UnderSwap which usually change the personalities and roles of the main cast or even some of the minor cast members.
DustTale takes the "Corrupted Chara" and "Sans fully remembers" theories and puts them into overdrive with there being HUNDREDS of genocide timelines across THOUSANDS of players but throws in a "What if?" scenario such as "What if Sans could get strong enough to beat Chara?" And so here we are it's a race to see who gets the most EXP and final say on the timeline as the barrier is controlled by the strongest and most determined.
Noted Deaths:
(Toriel)
Through several iterations, it is shockingly split from what I've seen on if Chara kills Toriel or Sans goes through the door to kill her himself; I guess it really depends on how LESS you want to hurt from it.
(Papyrus)
Chara is usually never fast enough to fully kill Papyrus thanks to his "decapitation clause" as I'll call it and even then some iterations of Sans kill Papyrus IMMEDIATELY just to make sure Chara wouldn't even get the chance. The reason why Papyrus haunts Sans isn't because of "EXP gain" it is from HOW. MANY. TIMES. HE'S. DONE. IT. It pains him every time and it's why Dust Sans sometimes gets the nicknames "Murder Sans(NOT KILLER)/Mad Sans/The New Redglare(this one was made up by me for the Homestuck reference props if you got it)"
(Undyne)
This is also a split on whether or not Chara is fast enough, however if I remember correctly she does fully admonish Sans for what he's doing in the sense of "You've become no better than the one we hate"
(Mettaton)
Shocking how I barely see anyone tackle this fight the ONLY time I've seen it Sans already either skewered them or blasted them. The whole theme is "race to the finish" so every character has this "who's going to be killed by who" aspect which I morbidly like.
(Flowey & Asgore)
Both are killed by Chara and Sans respectively AGAIN, I like to think of specifically these deaths as Chara killing Flowey after inevitably winning again vs Sans and Sans killing Asgore before their "game" even starts but that's all me your view on this could be different.
(Frisk?)
Okay so there are a select few times where Frisk "Sacrifices and SEPARATES from Chara mid-final battle" leaving them to take the hit for Sans but regardless the run still goes on and Sans still dies which leaves us to this split

This is a hypothetical where both Chara and Sans are each LV 10, Whoever wins gets control. How this plays out is up to the one behind each weapon.
This isn't even real, I just like to think of this as a possibility where if either or wins that's it, it's game over for whoever lost in this "one chance" battle between crazed killers.
(Sans)
What can be said here? Due to Chara's Determination/The player's reloading Sans is ONCE AGAIN stuck in another loop only it can be deemed as worse for him as he, himself, knows it and knows he's too far gone to be saved. There is no "REAL" pacifist run and even if it was it would just become the "Redemption Run" timeline only now Sans has already gotten a body count it was already hundreds to make him crazy it'll take more to make him actually think you're even ATTEMPTING to change.

Aaaaaaand I'm done if you're the type of person to read the description of a SHORT you're crazy but I actually respect it, and if you scroll skipped your way down here well again I respect it cause what sane person would willingly go through all of that?
