    Thanks for watching everyone! have you ever tried or used the Jumbo Max grips?

      Been using them for 3 years, I'll never go back.
      Just keep in mind your swing weights, i use the Ultralite series with zero taper in a medium size

    I used them for 6 months, they helped sooo much with pain in my wrists when I came back into golf. With normal sized grips I had a permanent 10yard draw, that being repeatable on course. With the zen lights my GIR went down as I was hitting left and right miss. I do agree with the ball flight characteristics that you found. I just couldn’t feel where the face was.

      Yeah the zen lites require a slight softer grip in the hands and not move the wrists as much. Then the ball flight straightens out a lot

    finally got around to testing some medium grips.... much better in the hand than even +4 standards...
    Jumbo testing next. Very interested.

      I love mine and I’m never going back. To me, it just makes sense

    Hi, what about swing weight changes though, did you match the weight as near as possible?

    • @davidmaxfieldgolf
      @davidmaxfieldgolf  6 днів тому

      @@PauloG100 the weight of the 2 clubs are setup the exact same except for the grip. That does change the swing weight and is something that people don’t consider often but they should. In this case the only way to match the swing weight would be to thicken the grip of the standard one which kind of defeats the purpose a bit

      @@PauloG100 you will find the Zen Lites to be very close to a midsize grip weight(61g for JMX medium). There are other jumbos that aren’t so close. Tours are 110g which would massively change the feel of the club head.

    Mate I totaly agree on the bigger grips, Im currently using the Jumbomax ultra lite I have the XS on my woods and the Standard Jumbo on my irons this is based on the overall head size and some trial and error. This has benn benifical for me as I was also getting pain an the forarms and hands due to some arthritus .
    I will never switch back to normal grips. Im on the south coast of Australia down Wollongong region if you come this way hit us up for a game.

      @@raygolding7673 I just went and hit 100 balls in the sim and normally I would feel it in my elbows but not after this session. Quite amazing for me to be honest, so it’s definitely helping with not having the jarring and soreness after hitting a lot of balls

    There’s no way to test this without permanently changing my grips right?

    • @davidmaxfieldgolf
      @davidmaxfieldgolf  5 днів тому

      I guess if a fitting bay has them or someone else you know would prob be the only option.

      @@jarydneethling4696 I brought 1 to test, I put it on my worst club (long iron) and was blown away by how much better the ball flight was. The zens are so thick you could put them on and take off very easily without damaging the rubber
