Best professional series of all time without a doubt, from the suprise mf support, the game 2 arrow, the faker highlight reel and the bengi redemption storyline having to first pick nidalee because kkoma forgot to ban it and him carrying. I remember watching this entire series live and it was peak league.

Seeing Peanut having that much fun just makes me smile. The fact that he is flashing in and dieing on Lee Sin and than laughing like he made an insane outplay. Sometimes I miss this kind of joy the players have these days
I rmb this series way to well. As a rox fan, I was so happy to see them leading 2 1 against the unstoppable Skt, only for them to lose in the end. It was so heartbreaking. But they showed up big time and were a joy to watch. In hindsight with that roster ofc they'd be good, Kuro got me into playing Viktor back in the day, he was a fucking beast (though he was mostly on Karma duty this series, and who can blame a coach for wanting to play it safe against Faker). Regardless, Smeb, Peanut, Pray and Gorilla on that team too, SHEEEEEESH such a banger roster. Watching them lose to SKT again is a bit heart breaking, but eh if they had to lose to someone it should be SKT i suppose.

Underrated hype moment for me was Bengi busting out the Nidalee and balling after everyone said he was washed/didn't play it. More old school series reviews!
The cool thing about that story is that it was actually very true, he didnt play nidalee, hell its basically the reason SKT picked up Blank. Bengi has exactly 1 professional game on her and its in game 4 of this series.
If you watch the comms for that draft, they were supposed to ban nidalee. But faker said to kkoma that they can leave nidalee open for a free ban, so rox need to ban nidalee. Kkoma asked bengi if he was okay with playing nida for the team if it wasn't banned, and he said yes. Rox think that they can just not ban nidalee and pick it since bengi barely ever played nidalee, and they were punished by bengi, what a legend.
The fact that Rox didn't win this series makes me sad to this day, the team was just so much fun to watch and all the players just genuinely seemed to love playing together. Sadge
@jup2up311 Hence why I hated him because he was so cocky and he could actually back it up with his play. But it was so satisfying seeing him lose during that semis.

i remember i first started to follow the pro matches in season 6, i really liked the LCK because of the cast and the time they streamed. It was Peanut's first season as a starter on a roster, and the casters said that he was probably the most aggressive jungler at the time. Always picking Lee, Elise and Graves. He steamrolled every jungler in the LCK, always hard carrying on his picks (getting 10+ kills etc). He was the reason i got into the jungle role, and seeing him still play on GenG makes me excited for what he can bring in the future. Peanut fighting!

It's kind of a shame that this chad 2016 meta, and the 2018 solo lane dominance meta are sandwiching the awful, awful 2017 Ardent Censer meta. Only 2018 LPL are top. But starting from season 3 in 2013 until 2017 LPl is look like NA or EU. For 5 years straight LCK rule the world. Even semis and finals LCK vs LCK.
No mythics, no 100 to 0 on 8 minutes, actual vision on the map, no plates, no obj bounties, damn... Its astonishing how skt/ t1 has almost all the "best" in league records. Best comeback of all time against edg, best series against rox, best outplay against ryu, best international and domestic titles, best team to be ever created 14-2015, 15-2016 and maybe soon to be 21-2022 if they win grandslam, best player the goat faker.
This is the start of Keria's story (wherever he was at the time watching this match), who would have guessed that in 2023/2024 we'd be playing all manners of weird botlanes for the sole intention of securing early push etc.
This was the top tank meta between Tank Ekko, Poppy, and I can't recall the last one but it was always a 3 way triangle between the 3 tank champs. I just remember Ekko and Poppy being HUGE top lane meta picks. Maybe it was Shen that was the 3rd tank top laner that was OP.

*as he moves his sponsors on the screen 😂
Its astonishing how skt/ t1 has almost all the "best" in league records. Best comeback of all time against edg, best series against rox, best outplay against ryu, best international and domestic titles, best team to be ever created 14-2015, 15-2016 and maybe soon to be 21-2022 if they win grandslam, best player the goat faker.
This is the start of Keria's story (wherever he was at the time watching this match), who would have guessed that in 2023/2024 we'd be playing all manners of weird botlanes for the sole intention of securing early push etc.
I got to see this live. What a great series holy shit.
"Support Ashe sucks" Keria has been offended.
8:00 "Everyone does so little damage, theres no burst hehe"
Faker proceeds to explode Karma 5 seconds later
Look at how little healing there is. It's not needed at all actually. Beautiful
was lucky enbough to see this series live and it remains one of my favorite sporting events
This was the top tank meta between Tank Ekko, Poppy, and I can't recall the last one but it was always a 3 way triangle between the 3 tank champs. I just remember Ekko and Poppy being HUGE top lane meta picks. Maybe it was Shen that was the 3rd tank top laner that was OP.
from all of those player, only Faker and Peanut left.
and faker still made to semifinals/finals at worlds, crazy.
this made me realize how much the game has changed over all those years..
My favorite series of all time.
The fact that the caster actually say ashe supp is shit and for a few patches this season she was giga op XDDD
Peanut is one of my favorite players and seeing him broken like that at the end just hurts.
Little did he know that 2022 worlds would produce the best best of five series DRX versus T1
I really hope Krepo makes a comeback to casting, he was really entertaining.
bro he's a child groomer
I love this concept, could do more strategic analysis though !
Would you do like KT-IG worlds 2018, T1-Damwon worlds 2021, GenG Damwon worlds 2022, Damwon-RNG MSI 2021 ?
season 6 was peak league
Ahhhh S6 LoL. The golden ages. How spoiled we were back then, and didn't even realize it. You don't realize how good a thing is until it's gone. Sadge.
