No, Luffys bounty is perfect. He’s the son of Dragon, he escaped impel down, he waged war with the world government, he punched a celestial, he did all these things the government hates. And the fact that he escaped a yonkos territory. I think his bounty is honestly perfect.

But now that threat becomes more terrifying because luffy able to defeat 2 yonko commander (one of them is the strongest member of bigmom pirate) and inflict much damage to whole cake island AND escape from there lively.
So the government doesn't think luffy as a rookie anymore. He is equal to yonko commander but more threatening because of his family and declaration of war to world government most sacred places three times (enies lobby, impel down, marineford). No yonko commander has done it yet.
That's why luffy got higher bounty than yonko commander

I can’t be the only one that Luffy deserves his bounty. With all the stuff Luffy has gone through I 100% think he deserves it. I know Morgan has stretched the truth kinda, but from pre-timeskip to now, I fully feel Luffy deserves it.

I’m not sayin got will be Crocodile type of damage or Lucci type of damage or even Doffy type of damage, no bu he will be able to deal enough damage to contribute to Kaido’s downfall which is a big feat since we know an admiral cannot beat a Yonko in a 1 vs 1 either.
Also remember he isn’t even figured his awakening out just yet. That alone + stronger Haki + gear 4th will deal damages to Kaido.

This chapter was hype! Luffy is getting that body workout even if it's a little, but can't use his haki due to the sea stone handcuffs. Queen's introduction shows he's not an Okama, or he must really love Komurasaki. That bath scene was tasteful, but don't know if Sanji was really there. The backstory of Old man Hyogoro's past shows he needs to escape with Luffy to accomplish the recruiting goal. Kawamatsu is going to go Hamm next chapter. Knew he was going to play a role, but we all knew.
I doubt Luffy got a "little bit" stronger. I think he got way stronger and faster. Oda wouldn't waste this chance to increase Luffy's power level because he desperately needs it.

i think he can't use haki not directly because the handcuff, but more likely because of seastone drain strength or stamina of devil fruit user to the point luffy can't use his haki because he is weaker than his initial state. remember spamming or overusing haki may drain the haki user to the point they can't use haki until they regain their strength.
in one piece old fighter become weaker compare to their prime and make them not be able to spam or even use their haki, rayleigh said he can't use his conqueror haki after he spammed twice conqueror haki at human action house. whitebeard didn't use his conqueror haki in marineford probably it was not best thing to do with his weaker state. idk, maybe i am wrong

Queen's bounty being so much higher than Katakuri might be because Kaido's crew is more savage, but I expect King to be definitely stronger than Kat. BM kids are so shook by him, the only way they'd get up that cliff is if they had Stairs-sama on their side.

The main reason ace didn't use COC was because he had no will to live and therefore didn't want to use it.
I think the reason why Luffy can't use haki it's because he's a df user. And since seastones drain strength from the users my guess would be Luffy doesn't have enough strength to active his haki.

That dosen't make any sense haki and devil fruits are two completely different powers and sea stone hand cuffs weaken only devil fruit powers so luffy could've used his haki to escape

So if Luffy is exhausted, he won't be able to active his haki except Conquerer's haki since it's powered by will.
I just do not get it, why do people have a problem with Luffy becoming significantly stronger, or being able to overpower opponents? 04:30, it just seems to me that the growth in strength of the character does correlate with story progression as the goal of the main character is to become king of the pirates.

I really hope we'll see Smoker and Tashigi (and Vegapunk) during Wano. We saw most of the Straw Hats' friends and the Marines in between arcs and at the Reverie except for them. And the children's storyline still hasn't had closure. I think this means they're all going to be part of a big Vegapunk reveal coming soon. And it would make sense for Vegapunk to be involved in Wano with all the artificial Devil Fruits, including Momo's faulty fruit that he himself created.

Oda couldnt show Sanjis new powers at the beginning because we can all assume he will fight someone stronger later on and if we know it wont be as exciting and it will be shown later on how the fight between him and page one went for sure .
Im not being a die hard fan protecting Oda here dont get me wrong but the arc is still at the beginning there are plenty of more characters to be introduced many more alliances to be made and Oda cant just put them all in the same panel this things take time . Wano will be the longest arc so far I believe .

Something that I heard in someone else's chapter review for 935 was that a mobile yonko crew, which is a category Shanks' and Luffy's crews fall under, is more dangerous than a stationary crew. This point is actually which factors into both Shanks fame and Luffy's current inflated bounty.
Immediately after I heard that I was more... willing, I suppose is the word, to accept the jump in the bounty that Luffy got. Although, taking Morgan's words into consideration does put Luffy's actions in an "I planned and executed a perfect strategy" sort of light... The simple fact that The Straw Hats can appear anywhere, wreak havoc and just disappear again is a huge headache for the World Government.
Luffy is training his regular body because Black Beard have him a reality chin check. If you're nothing without your powers..

And zoro dont need past or stupid sob backstory it will only ruin his character and make it like any one main cast from just your any other anime where main has to have a strong family background to be strong and normal nobody cant rise at all and his current backstory and his motivation are best for his character " he just want to be strong enough so that this name reach heaven and maybe she can hear/see him fulfilling his promise with uncertainty".

Well, bounties are perceived threat levels. Someone who regularly crushes islands is going to have a higher bounty than someone who just kinda coasts around (which is why Kidd had a higher bounty than Luffy on Sabaody). Kaido's commanders may have just been around longer and caused more destruction in their own right than Katakuri or the other Big Mom pirates.

The fan requests have vague allusions to the chapters. They were random at first, but since the grand fleet cover page arc ended the fan requests have been kind of relevant to what's currently going on.
Regarding the cuffs... The weakened feeling devil fruit users get is so nauseating that it stops them from using haki, imo.
So in case you don't recall, in Alabasta Devil Fruit powers were explained to rely on a characters stamina. When they were locked in the sea stone cages luffy exclaims that the sea stone drains his Stamina.
Haki according to Luffy in G4 exhausts his stamina as well.
I also recall Rayliegh associating Haki usage with Stamina.
It's possible that Sea Stone simply affects a DF users stamina. I think that on any non DF Haki user the cuffs would have no effect on their Stamina.

Luffy earned that bounty. I do not think he is yonkou level or anything like that, but he went into Totland with less than half his crew, and devastated the entire territory on multiple levels, and took down two commanders regardless of the circumstance AND got away mostly scott free with pedro being the only casuality and no other lasting damage. He basically got the better of a yonkous entire crew, on their home turf. Yeah he had help from capone, jimbei and nf pirates, and germa, but ultimately he still went in there with less than half his crew, and some support from two Minks, but they managed to find allies and do significant damage to the big mom pirates. It makes sense for Luffies bounty to sky-rocket even if Morrigans fudged the details of what exactly happened. The bounty is based on results.
The reason Luffy can't use Haki when in the seastone handcuffs is because he can't concentrate. His strength is constantly being drained by the cuffs, which makes him unable to concentrate, so it makes sense that he wouldn't be able to use haki. Also Rayleigh used Haki while in seastone cuffs during Sabaody, so it wouldn't make sense if you couldn't use haki while wearing the seastone cuffs.
It felt good to see luffy getting owned by that warden (who looks like magellan a lot actually), thanks oda for stopping the W train of luffy

Haki is just being suppressed in luffy because he is a devil fruit eater. If you put the same handcuffs on a non-devil fruit eater then they would probably be able to use it. The inability to use the haki is just a testament to how drained luffy is rn
If Queens bounty means anything then it could be possible that Queen is Zoro’s opponent and King, Sanji’s. Sanji fighting a flying opponent makes sense and Zoro fighting Queen sounds hilarious! Especially seeing his hilarious personality. Sounds a lot like Oda 😂
The way I interpreted the Haki thing is that Luffy can't use haki because he is a devil fruit user and therefore, he's body is weakened. He feels like he's been drained of his strength and energy, making him unable to use haki. Like being constantly tired. But it can be an effect of kairoseki, who knows.
How can you expect Queen to be totally serious with this design?
I think when the seastone cuffs come off, Luffy will be significantly stronger but he doesn't know that yet. I think Oda wants us to believe things will happen the way the dialogue predicts but will surprise us by doing the opposite.

you got it wrong. The devil fruit users usually have trouble staying up with sea stone. Obviously mustering Haki will be harder for them. Regular haki users can still use haki.
idk how seriously we can take luffy's statement that he won't be that much stronger when the cuffs come off. how would he even know since he's had them on 24/7. i feel like it's just to make the luffy-rocklee scene more hype
Because a bounty is not simply a power scaling tool, I do not believe that Luffy's bounty is overhyped. He has demonstrated time and time again that he can beats the odds and that he doesn't fear any power in place. He is someone who rallies armies behind himself without even trying. He went inside a yonko's territory, did whatever the hell he wanted, beat two of her commander, exchanged hit with her and lived to tell the tale.

With that bounty Queen could probably fight evenly against Sanji and Zoro at the same time.
Queen is funny as hell along with crab joke man. I always thought sea stone wrecked devil fruit users making them weak like the sea where they can’t even move but someone like Zoro can swim fine and so should be able to use haki with sea stone on

Think Beast Pirates commanders got a higher bounty for one simple reason; they wreck more havoc. Kid had a higher bounty than Luffy pre-time skip, due to outside casualties, not just his actual strength.
Hence, it's not set in stone that Katakuri is weaker than Queen. I do think they're within the same ballpark of power, though.
I don't think the guy hiding with the bamboo stick is Sanji, or the water would be red.
