Thank you Ladies for this podcast, really love your characters on the show. Faith making PB sandwich instead of opening a can of beans & Lily 'ready for dinner' was priceless. Mei & Mike, watching their 'friendship' grow is sweet yet comical. Sweet Minnie...loved her watching Angela climb in the wagon to play the piano...just love the whole Canfield family. Flo & Ned, another sweet couple. How compationate was Ned when Flo was taking down flyers wanting miners!?! Really enjoy watching these actors storylines grow. Unfortunately, many of us don't like the changes being made to Elizabeth's character... enough that we won't be following her & Nathan. Sorry for the negativity, but one cannot support a storyline that doesn't make sense & seems ridiculous.
Sorry I disagree with last statements...its all part of the wholesome stories of families ..including E & N..life's up and down..change is the essence in life!❤😊 sorry some viewers still unhappy ..but imo..enjoy the show! ❤ all actors are super good in their roles! @@emydel679It's not just that fans are unhappy with the storyline changes, it's the way they were done. Elizabeth had NO doubts about her feelings for Lucas for over 2 years. Sure they had disagreements, but they knew how to work them out. She was practically begging Lucas to ask her to marry him as she was constantly smooching with him. Most of the looks Elizabeth gave Nathan through Season 8 were annoyance, she wanted him to leave her alone. Then bang, in Season 10 she decides she has 'romantic' feelings for Nathan, Lucas was a 'safe' choice, she encourages Lucas to run for governor, she asks to go to Capitol City with him & then she breaks their engagement. Just horrible, horrible writing. I know this is just a TV show, but the terrible writing was treating fans like idiots. Sorry, but there's not much to enjoy in the show this season..

Throughout the seasons, Nathan and Elizabeth had some snarky banter for sure, but there was underlying flirtation, plus, it was obvious that Elizabeth cared for Nathan; the main reason she chose Lucas over Nathan was that she was afraid of losing Nathan the way she lost Jack. Remember the scene where she thought Nathan had been killed, but when he suddenly appeared, totally unharmed, Elizabeth literally threw herself into his arms!! All while Lucas was watching. Anyway, I for one have always rooted for Eliz and Nathan. Am I alone here?????
@@suesaviSorry, but Elizabeth hugging Nathan when she found he wasn't shot would probably be done by 'anyone' finding out their 'friend' wasn't hurt or dead. That's what we call 'compassion'. Well, there's many of us that prefer Lucas for Elizabeth, but it doesn't matter now because that relationship has already been ruined. It now just depends on what they do with Lucas' storyline whether I continue to watch or not.

In any case, I've always been "team Nathan" I guess, even though I didn't realize 'til now that people were forming teams 😉! I just think he's a more complex and nuanced character, and just plain cool. I love that he gets some of the more funny, sarcastic, and snarky lines.
Elizabeth loved Lucas for two seasons. She even told him while he slept she loved him. she ran down the street after Lucas because she thought he was leaving town. It is a lie that she chose him because he was the safe choice. How can you be happy knowing this. If you can't see the truth you are not being honest with yourself. It is a rewrite based on a lie.
Let's just say that the prior seaon was poorly written and Team Nathan group was just pissed off as Nathan never even got a chance. Never got a date with Elizabeth, but was treated terrible by Elizabeth the entire season. Elizabeth was a HORRIBLE character in that season. She ran away and could not confront what she was feeling. In denial as they would say. I don't care either way. I'm hoping that Elizabeth doesn't end up with anyone. She doesn't deserve anyone the way she treated both men. Confused or not confused.

For 2 years Lucas & Elizabeth grew this beautiful, loving relationship that resulted in a marriage proposal just to be crushed with Elizabeth realizing she made the 'safe' choice😮 & has always had romantic feelings for Nathan....most of the time she looked annoyed with Nathan when he kept asking her out. The writers didn't make her look confused, they made her deceitful.
