Speaking with reporters in Ottawa, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says his party will support the Liberal government’s proposed two-month GST removal on some items to help ease the high cost of living. Singh proposed the measure earlier this month and has vowed that an NDP government would make the tax relief permanent.
