Good review!
But i think the Fenix TK20R v2 is more comparble to the Nitecore P23i than the Fenix PD36R pro.
Thanks man, I will try source one do a compariosn
Yes, this nitecore is same size and specs of Fenix tk20r
Vote for Nitecore, 2 modes operation is much clever!
I went with the 23i and leave it in tactical mode. It's very quick to step down to the lumens I want. It has a big enough hot spot and the 55 kcd really lights up far. Having the glass breakers on the front is such a nice option too. Very good comparison as always. Thanks!
On the videos ive seen the UI seems pretty difficult? And you must choose between direct turbomotor no high mode?
@@aleks2194 I rotate my six EDC lights and been carrying my 23i for over a week. I chose tactical mode and it is instinctive and quick to go to the lumens I want. Granted, since I carry it in my front pocket with no clip as I do all my lights, with the 2nd switch to adjust the lumens, I have to feel around just a bit to find where it's at. The others I have are Weltools and I only deal with one button so I don't ever have to feel for the orientation. All are different and all are fun and useful, for sure.
All of these lights should have the tail stand.
Wondering the price of those NC 'proprietary' batteries?
The flower pattern on the nitecore would drive me crazy. (Light beam)
It is worth noting that the NTH20 polymer holster as supplied with the Nitecore P20i, will work with
the P23i as the dimensions are the same.
It gives a more stable candlestand.
Thanks! And you can buy the holster separately. That supplied nylon holster looks terrible.
You should compare red apples to red apples, not green apples (PD series) to red apples, meaning comparing Fenix's TK series to Nitecore's P23i. 🤷🏽♂️
I’m a bouncer at a night club so there’s quite a bit of light downtown and we have cops that sit maybe no more then 100 meters away so they can assist we had a problem I tried flashing them with the pd36r pro on a full battery at turbo and nothing cops didn’t even notice just wondering ones how the p23i cuts through light
Anyone like the NC P20iX? I don't own a Fenix or a NiteCore, just comparing now.
This round goes to Nitecore.. it’s a monster. Strike bezel, 100m longer throw, more lumens, table stand, tactical mode.. i can’t have my duty light coming on at 30 lumens during a life/death encounter.
Fenix for the beam, Nitecore for the UI. Can't we have both?
We can and we WILL have both!
I really don't like that the Fenix momentarily goes off when cycling, it is only for milliseconds but it is there.
The Fenix TK16 V2 also does this but the previous TK16 does not.
That is one of the reasons I would go with the Nitecore over the Fenix.
I find it really annoying.
i love this guys channel. If we had to pay to watch i would
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it!
Hi! I'd like to purchase a tactical flashlight with 450-600 meter throw maximum head diameter 35mm would be great , could you give me any recommendation please? i had nitecore edc35 which died in this week ... by the way i like the cool white light colour
Mt2c or the pro version only thing you might not like is those both start off in high mode
Thanks for the shootout .
The heck is running at 10:52 ?
Is that a horse with some reflective on it?
Hahaha I will have to go back and check the footage
Fenix36rPro vs Nitecore MH 12SE
Nitecore QC sucks, got mine 23i with leaky currents on LED after turning off.
Keep up the great content 👏🏾 😁🔦
Thanks mate
Nitecore did well but i am a fenix guy.
Fenix36rPro- 2800lm and 380m beam - 36,600Cd
Nitecore P23i-3000lm and 470m(!) beam - 55,300Cd
an another review, again comments of Nitecore fanboys.. Their shots are very close, although there is a big difference between them. I've watched a lot of Nitecore-Fenix reviews, there's no way Nitecore can beat Fenix in terms of light quality, beam. The only advantage of Nitecore is its design.
I agree!! FENIX ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!
So, you´re a jealous fenix fanboy...so what! Sometimes Fenix is better, sometimes nitecore is better. I own flashlights of both companies (and others as well). There is no Number 1 company ! !
Nitecore winner
nitecore much better.
I'm rather fond of the Fenix, incidentally they both have the same emitter as the Klarus xt11gt pro.Hey what sort of light do you use,in the middle of the night,to duck out to the kitchen to grab a drink or snack etc?🤔🔦🥤🍰😊
I use the Acebeam Pokelit currently, But it always changes.
The tk20r 2.0 would of been a better match up
