Pretty good video 👍 I have been interested a lot into one-core-api myself and been experimenting with it. Must say that it's really impressive. With a little luck you can get 2016-2017 games to run on xp , directx 10,11 support , latest versions of edge , chrome , Spotify , zoom , visual studio and even Java 11 ! Hope they keep updating to the point that a lot of old school or office computers can use it to get some more life out of them.
Thank you very much for the test! It really is the result of a lot of work, which will not stop. I have big plans for the future, God willing. Soon, we will have support for native DirectX 10+ with hardware acceleration, support for recent video, network and audio drivers. And each version will improve the compatibility issue. Version 4.0 will be released by the end of November.
messed around with opencore on 32bit XP, and Photoshop 2018, Illustrator 2019 and InDesign 2019 running just fine on there, these are the final 32bit versions of these software, and naturally require windows 7 given they're so new. I wonder how much newer would work on x64. onecore really has come a really long way in the last few years, super impressive project.
Officially, Windows XP can run on CPUs up to Intel Core 3rd gen series or AMD FX series of processors, and it can even run on the early 12 core Xeons. GPUs are supported until Nvidia GTX 900 Series or AMD Radeon R9 200/300, My XP rig, though, has a Core 2 Quad Extreme QX67008800 GTX SLI from 2006.
Why do you use DX11 mode on GTA 5, wouldn't DX10 work better? Also, wasn't there a project which tried back porting DX10 to XP years ago? Did it ever work?
i tried both dx10 and 11 on the first pc but it didnt seem to improve, so i just left it at dx11 for the second pc also, idk about previous projects but onecore has both 10 and 11 working on XP so its good enough
was investigating this before the video actually, i got 1.21.3 to get to the title screen and start loading a world, but it ends up crashing java 21 due to networking related oddness ill probably end up looking into this later but its not entirely out of the question
Gta v is actually 64bit only, atleast to my knowledge I also touched on this in the description; having a 64bit OS opens more doors to software given most things now a days are 64bit
people who struggle getting PC are better off buying used ps3 or xbox 360 and game dvd off of aftermarket, surprisingly cheap and better experience for the game. IF its case of not wanting newer windows you can settle for steamos 3rd party installer or other arch linux variant and run it via proton layer, broken battleye doesnt prevent you from running entire rockstar launcher and story mode via proton layer, tested on steamdeck to be sure!
If only my RTX 4060 and i5-13400F could run XP Also I do have an xp machine with a pentium 4 HT 3.02Ghz and a GeForce 6200 256mb gta San Andreas runs poorly (probably 15fps)

Native DX10 in Windows XP would be insane!
I once had a really trippy dream years ago where people were still running windows xp. This video is exactly like that dream

9:38 this game's coding sometimes is so crappy and unoptimized that i think its more likely that it's not the cpu fault
nice video btw

Impressive shit that GTA V Worked
This video gives me 2020 vibes for some reason
the fact that programs from 2016 (vegas pro, photoshop, etc etc) work with onecore on windows xp x64 is just so trippy to me
I never expected see running GTA V on Win XP, very impressive since last XP game by R* was Max Payne 3 from 2012
I remember that in 2022 and early 2023 one-core-api was only able to run Google Chrome up to version 102 (with errors) and Firefox up to version 54

Can the most recent versions of Minecraft Java Edition work on Windows XP x64 like how you got GTA 5 to work on it?

12:05 reminds me of those antipiracy screen videos :D
Crazy. Doesn’t GTA V work on XP x86 or why did you choose the x64?
Gta v is actually 64bit only, atleast to my knowledge
I also touched on this in the description; having a 64bit OS opens more doors to software given most things now a days are 64bit
Like Ezio said, GTA V is 64bit only, so won't run on a 32bit OS.
Wow! How did you get GTA 5 up and running? I assume with a repack?

Watching this while installing drivers on my pentium 4 and HD 4650 1gb XP machine lol.
4:00 which theme is this?
Assuming you mean the theme i had set on Windows XP, it is the purple version of royalaio, found here archive.org/details/royal-aiov11
Does Steam work on here? If it does, it would be really cool lmao..
Have not tried on the version shown, ive seen some mumbling that it might tho
I did try on 3.0.5 and it did not
How did you get these games to run without DRM?
fancy

If only my RTX 4060 and i5-13400F could run XP
