It's probably because most stage performances come during tours and over a period of a month of two of singing the way he does every night his voice starts to go, also not having to jump around a stage helps.
It's amazing how good AG is at singing in a situation where he doesn't have to jump around like a maniac. He makes it work live but this is just next level. This whole song almost perfect in one take? That's fucking next level.
