Hi everybody! Welcome to the first episode of a 10 part series where I am traveling around the US to some of the craziest properties and interesting states! Unfortunately, our first experience the Versace Mansion was quite horrible. I didn't go into many details in the vlog because at the time I was trying to make a good impression for the company I was working for. In this video Cameron Phillips travels to the Villa Casa Casurina - also known as the Versace Mansion - in Miami, Florida. This is the first video in a multi-part series where Cameron is going to be traveling all over the US on a quest to find the most iconic and unique properties he can find. In this episode they experience the strangeness and glamour of the hotel, talk about their $1000 per night hotel experience at the Versace Mansion, and explore the lively and magical aspects of Miami. Make sure to follow along on this journey.
There is an outdoor cafe down the street from the mansion, on Ocean Drive called News Cafe. I recall my first time there Gianni Versace and Elton John were sitting at a table outdoors near us, and nobody bothered them, and I thought what a cool place
I like the whole honestly of the hotel review, we want to start some salty reviews too.
That is unfortunate. They could have made the room feels more luxurious. They should have made bedsheets, comforters and pillow luxurious. They should get rid of those throw pillows that for sure they do not wash😬. And the curtains!😬
When you live there it’s just boring
ahhh i loved this so much!! i’ve lived in miami for four years and have struggled with falling in love with the place but this has definitely inspired me to do some exploring and really get to know the city! who would’ve guessed that there’s an erotic art museum just 20 minutes away from my apartment? thank you so much for sharing this!!

Vanessa Gonzales it was sold a couple years after G Versace was killed , some of the items inside the mansion were auctioned off by Donatella and others still remain( the things that couldn’t be taken out , Likeall the Medusa heads in the floors/walls). It was made into a exclusive club / party rental space(going for 10,000 a night ) A couple years ago it was auctioned off and bought by a big corporate group and turned into a luxury hotel that only has 10 suites and can be rented for wedding and etc has a restaurant / spa . I just finished watching American Crime : Versace’s murderer and I’ve been looking into the villa. It’s actually not even called “Versace Mansion” people just call it that since he lived there it’s official name is Casa Casuarina.
Does he mean 1000 dollars per day? That’s not super expensive right??
Ya the suites are $1000 - but ya It's really not that expensive but I thought it was a good title without being clickbait!
Shame you disappeared, I always book with booking.com so it would of been useful to book place with your recommendations.

Also for the record none of these places we're my recommendations unless I specifically said I had a good time - I would never attach my name or the Phenomenal Traveler brand a place as foul as the Versace Mansion - I traveled there as part of this job I did and did not choose any of the properties.
