Thats your opinion, it does seem like cheating but when I go deep dropping hand cranking 1800 foot of line takes forever especially when you’re looking at decent sized fish on the line as well as 8 pounds of weight

Deep sea fishing in my place is quite expensive. We usually going deep sea for 3 days at 150-250 meter deep and it's very tiring. Manually cranking at 250 meter with 1.5kg of sinker and a strong current is no fun.
