As a woman, I don't see how this kind of entertainment is what is necessary to develop stronger, Godly, men. What does this kind of show have to do with a Biblically spiritual men's conference? No wonder we're where we are.
@@NotTodaySatan705 No, the church, the true church, has not fallen. It is still strong. However, there are so many of these false churches, it is easy to think that the church has fallen.
Regardless of Driscoll calling it out, the pole performance was absolutely sexualized and inappropriate. I can only imagine how that kind of performance affected the attendees who struggle with porn.
And these 2 are naive to think that there are men in attendance who don’t struggle with their sexual orientation. Laughing about it even that it’s absurd. Denying there was anything sexual. That was crazy. It’s like TDS. The hatred for T makes people think/believe things that are untrue. Their dislike of Mark is doing the same thing. I don’t know who was sitting in Justin’s left… but I’m not a fan.
Or men who struggle with homosexuality. This had NO place at a men's conference. Shame on you for making this about Mark Driscoll. This is about inappropriate conduct in church.
I’m just a plain person (woman) and can’t figure out for the life of me why any of these idiotic performances would be useful in encouraging godliness in men. That there was even a need to have a discussion about whether there was some sensual stuff going on directed towards homosexuality or otherwise is all the evidence that I need to know that God wasn’t in that place and had nothing to do with the planning of that wicked event. Ridiculous.
I mean, they had a male stripper - at a man’s conference - swallowing a sword. The sexual imagery of that is unacceptable and should have been called out.

@@CulwhickbeoccaOk, so Mark admittedly fell into the sin of cowardice until he finally felt convicted enough and mustered enough courage to do the right thing. Are you saying you never delayed when the Lord tells you to do something difficult (and potentially embarrassing) for Him?

I don’t think it’s one or the other…I think the circus act and the entire conference itself has been a mockery of God. I don’t think Justin is standing up for them. He’s just saying that mark is not a hero…he endorses weird stuff all of the time and rebuking a stripper guy you hired by claiming he has the jezebel spirit or whatever is not the mark of a godly man. Don’t set yourself up to be in places where this stuff is happening so you can act like a hero for rebuking demons you summoned to the event lol.
@@quinnpeterson2716 yes, you’re absolutely right. And while a rebuke was in order, that was not the place for it unless it was about more than what a rebuke is hoped to achieve. The whole thing is just as you’ve said, a mockery of God.
Justin is naive, and far more concerned with pointing out other people's heresy than he is in promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just look at all of his content: It's all accusations and finger pointing. This man needs an urgent plea to himself to step away from the ministry scene, because he isnt doing it well at all. He needs to spend more time reading the word than preaching it.
Absolutely agree, brother. How dare they trivialize the potential stumbling block that this could be to so many others who struggle with these sins. justin peters needs to pray.
And therein lies one of the HUGE issues of our time! Church is meant to be for the saints of God, not an entertainment venue for the world. In fact, it’s not for “the world” at all. This is an attack on the biblical doctrine of the saints coming together AND a major distortion of the Gospel.

If Driscoll hadn’t prefaced what he said as ‘NOT a rebuke’ against anyone, I’d have a little more respect for what he said. That was weak and it undermined his message. He also didn’t need to say more than ‘stripper pole’ etc. Telling everyone to view it as an Asherah pole brought unnecessary complexity. That said, there were male temple prostitutes at pagan gatherings in OT Times (and possibly still). It was just ‘saying too much’ and allowing too much opportunity for rebuttal imho. Keep it simple! Straight Christian Men don’t want to watch men on stripper poles; End of story. Straight Christian Men MIGHT want to watch scantily-clad women on stripper poles (and that’s a separate issue in our hearts that lustily crave such sin). A pole absolutely can be viewed as a phallic symbol and yes, that’s why female and gay male strippers perform on them.
@tromtacular Oh look, I agree with everything you said. I’m not a fan of the man and do believe he’s unqualified to be behind the pulpit, but I think he’s correct to call this nonsense out. Was his motive for doing so self seeking? More than likely
@@dazpeno7054, I agree, but if there was a way to categorically prove the matter one way or another (and that proof was pending), and IF I was a betting man, I’d bet good money that Driscoll pre-planned a ‘call-out’ of some kind prior to attending the event (and what a perfect clown-show/circus to attend for such a purpose) as a publicity stunt to attract more followers to himself. He growled, Lindell growled louder and Driscoll quickly submitted to the pack-leader just like a wolf does. Are these men wolves? I don’t know much about Lindell, but I’ve learned about Driscoll and he’s a wolf in my opinion and if the company a man keeps is an indicator… well, 🤷🏼♂️ Just my opinion. If I’m wrong, so be it.
What ever happened to making Jesus Christ and His work on the cross the attraction of a men’s conference? It has to be Holy Spirit that draws them to the truth, and not some dog and pony show. Apostasy at its finest.
Ohhh well all these giant churches cozying up to Hollywood, celebrity, and preaching ridiculous tongues-mumbojumbo and prosperity Gospel are cults engaged in laundering tens of millions of dollars of drug money.
I'll provide my opinion. I think it is because these pastors realize that the appropriate theme, as you mentioned being Jesus and His death, burial, and resurrection on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, is not one that will attract the largest audience, with the main goal being to make money. Personally, I am not a fan of retreats.

This. He could have easily performed tricks and such without the stripper pole portion of his act. Let me be clear; I don’t think he should have been hired at all but if they were going to hire him they could have left out the pole.
Why would you be shocked it was Mark , because these teachers on this channel have convinced you that Mark is not a man of God. They are wrong. Think about this these teachers are laughing and making excises for satan ... It is more important to these two to ridicule and tear apart Mark than to call out the sin. And to admire his strength for being able to take a stand. Something that lindell nor these two on this channel could EVER do.
Driscoll can be a publicity stuntman, and a shirt-stripping, pole-dancing, shaft-swallowing showman can be out of place for a church setting at the same time
Just with Justing saying that shows he has ulterior motives. It's sad because he is so right on some things but got swayed by satan to attack the wrong man. Sadly he's been trying to find a way to bring Mark down for years, but God is protecting him. I don't like when Justin sensationalizes things to try and get clicks. That's what the world does.
@patrickgragg5602 Nothing shows someone's intelligence level more than typing in all CAPS. It shows that they have no substance and they need to try and yell their point across. The interesting thing is that you stopped educating yourself at the point Justin wanted you to so you look ignorant. Mark has been working with the other pastor's son (who is also a pastor at the church) to help them turn away from the things they are getting into. I know actually caring about other people is foreign to you because your god is Justin Peters and caring for people is the last thing on his mind. Mark cares for people so much that he's trying to help them turn to God and John has been putting out attacking messages constantly since it happened and Mark is not being childish and letting God speak for him. This should be a wake-up call for you in your life. This is a Jesus/Pharisee moment we are watching. Mark speaks the truth (FYI he is a flawed man and fails like everyone else) Pharisees have attacked him over and over since it happened. One is Justin. Mark spoke the truth and left it at that. But the Pharisees need to keep attacking because they don't have God on their side. Mark is more worried about the men's souls at the conference and the James River Church coming to repentance. You get to choose whose side you are on today.
@patrickgragg5602 you didn't hear what he said as he picked up his Bible and left? You may take issue with Mark Driscoll all you like, but he clearly wasn't "yanked" off stage as the title suggests.
I was at the conference and Mark Driscoll did not want to say what God had him say, I saw the fear in him when he started to speak, confronting demons is not easy, even for a believer. I wish Mark would not have come back on stage and apologized, he shouldn’t have , I’m glad I went to the conference, this incident gave me more motivation to live for Christ and confront the demonic than any of the motivational speakers they had there
I’m a reformed baptist pastor and James River is 25 minutes away. The performance is not biblical for a men’s conference. Both men are off base in so many ways.
I’m just a Christian woman and I agree with you 💯. How was any of that edifying, glorifying or encouraging in the faith? The conference does not seem to be biblically spiritual and I’d be suspicious of any “pastor” participating. Driscoll’s rebuke was imo not done right either. And then he retracted it?! I think they are a bunch of unregenerate men who need to go somewhere, repent and come to Christ - go on to serve God, quietly and humbly. They make Christianity look bad.
@@aprilbrooks7114 Why wasn't it done right? Are you saying rebukes aren't supposed to be public as Lindell suggested with his Mat18 reference? Yes, rebukes can and sometimes should be public as Paul in Galatians 2 makes known.
Maybe Justin needs to isolate the soundbites where he called out the need for the sword swallower to repent and come to Christ if he is lost and that the church it took place is a goat farm.
The saddest part of all of this is that the baby Christians that attend conferences like this because of the hype, walk away expecting to be entertained in church. Regardless of whether this man is a stripper or not, the fact is, that we call out church services that include ridiculous stunts for entertainment, this should be no different.
He didn't call it out correctly, there was a lot of error in his calling out (theologically and doctrinally). I think the Pastor from AZ should go to Mark Driscoll who also has a church in AZ and speak with him using the word to correct him!
No matter how detestable Driscoll is, I think it is important not to overlook the abominable nature of the exhibition with the gay stripper swallowing a sword and dancing on a pole at the Christian men's conference. Even if f he was acting the opportunist, he was at least on the right side of the issue. God is not a respecter of persons, and neither should we be. Let's focus on "what" is right and not "who" is right.
I find it detestable that men or women like you believe men like Justin then tear down the body of Christ like scourging Jesus (body of Christ) all over again... Bunch of gossipers. You should repent. I applaud Mark for standing up for righteousness. No matter what you do or how you do it, there will be a 1000 critics... No wonder our country is so divided with Christians tearing each other down like this. At least AOC and Nancy Pelosi can agree... If we have the spirit of God and Truth, how much more should we? Disgusting really. I'm ashamed that many of you represent me as a believer in Yeshua... I applaud anyone who stands for righteousness. It was very risky. He could have lost church members over this and friends, but he did what he believed in his heart was right and necessary. I doubt it will affect his book sales and he probably doesn't care about book sales. Woe to you, bunch of hypocrites, Matthew 23...
Well, that is a mischaracterization. The man was a stripper at some time in the past, and is now a Christian by all accounts. Still, it was very innapropriate.
It is laughable to take Driscoll seriously when he has never taken responsibility for his disaster at Mars Hill, and his cowardly departure from there. And, This conference's website came across as a frat party invite, nothing about what Biblical teaching would be given. Seems obvious they may do something outlandish. Neither side is right in this. It's an embarassment to genuine, sincere believers.
Man, the fact that Driscoll calling this out is the controversy you're choosing to dwell on instead of the shirtless male stripper, is a little off the mark...
I agree 👍 and it seems to be the witness of others in comments. It looks to me like Satan accusing the brethren. Sowing discord among the body is not ok with The Spirit of Christ.
It is very bizarre! Why start a men's conference with this garbage? There is no video clip here of the actual stripper pole and the guy being seductive in his act. You could see the older men on the front row with looks of "what" on their faces. It was nothing to do with teaching men to be good fathers, husband's and godly men. Mark was correct in his assessment.
We watch your videos a lot but we disagree here. The man was a stripper who performed on a pole. Even if he wasn’t officially a stripper (which he is) no man should be shirtless on a pole looking like a stripper at a men’s conference considering how many men struggle with pornography addiction or same sex attraction etc. we wrestle not against flesh and blood and the world is under the sway of the evil one. What does it matter what name he called the demonic spiritual influence ? The fact is this was wrong and as the church we should be separate from the world not acting just like them enjoying the “show”. This isn’t a “stunt” it clearly looks like a stripper pole and as a woman I find this highly offensive for a “Christian” men’s “conference” to be pushing this on men …….. I don’t care who rebukes it I’m just glad someone did. More men should be rebuking this garbage. I’m surprised that isn’t the sole focus of the video. Also, I highly doubt that everyone who makes you tube video goes to their brother “privately” first before posting these UA-cam videos about each other….…… the hypocrisy is astounding.
Wow....that last sentence. Righteous anger....I agree totally. Such hypocrisy..well put my sister in Christ. Also can you imagine what would happen if we had a women's conference and we had a women doing stunts on a p;ole??? The laughing and jeering from so many that would entail? The entire thing is a sad mess.
If you think a man getting up on a stage and taking off some of his clothes is holy, then i don't know what to say. And if it isn't holy, then it has to be unholy, if its unholy, it is of Satan
That’s not the point of the video. They’re not trying to defend what was done, as godly. They’re saying that he was being a showman. The claim that this event is a, “goat farm” deals with whether this is holy or not. The claim is that it wasn’t a homosexual display.

He is reforming us he is redeeming our lives from destruction. May he bless you with renewed knowledge of his profound love for you, for us. You are blessed. Now if we love him, we wl follow his commandments. There is now no condemnation for those, truly, in Christ. Endure til the end he said, in keeping his judgements, there is much reward.
As christians, we are supposed to be holy and set apart. Our gatherings should not look like the world's gatherings. When christians gather and something is being done that doesn't honor God, someone needs to call it out. The church is losing the Fear of the Lord and isnt respecting Him as the King He is. Something needs to change.
That pastor should have remembered 1 Thess 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil". The pole brought an immediate thought of how that is used by the world.
Driscoll lied about the performance. A shirtless dude shoved a sword down his throat, climbed a pole or ladder or something, and slide down like a firefighter. The end. So for Driscoll to describe in great detail what happens in a strip club is sus. Like he's been there a lot. Even then, what happened at the conference and Driscoll's description of a strip club don't even match. "Projecting" will be a very educational word to look up.
I watched the video and was NOT "pole dancing", like in a strip club. The man was a sword swallower and very physically strong. I'm not saying it was appropriate for a Christian event, but it wasn't a strip act either.
@@BeLovelyOK Your comprehension skills need work. I basically said it wasn't appropriate in church. However, it wasn't as Mark described it. He exaggerated. And it wasn't HIS church. He violated scripture.
I don't understand one thing, was it wrong for Mark to point out the evil? We surely cannot tell the heart in this case, see 1 Samuel 16:7 Jeremiah 17:10. I don't think Mark standing up to this incident should be an opportunity to discuss whether he is qualified or not. This video should be more about the act on the stage than a man taking a bold step to address the issue. He risked his friendship with his associates in the conference. Whether we disagree/agree that Mark is qualified or not, I think we need to also be humble and know that God can use anyone he pleases. Psalms 115:3
God can you anyone he pleases, but He doesn't use those who are teaching and promoting wickedness and carnality. For example, Mark D decided to share the sexual exploits of some guy. Who stands up in a pulpit and gets sexuslly graphic talking to a stadium filled with men?? Who does that? No legit pastor I know of.
Because all mark did was act like he was upset about something to capitalize on gaining more fans and controversy to make him self look like a hero. Dude is a phony and wants to be the next Jordan Peterson so bad.
Problem number one- they had a stripper at a Christian men’s conference. Correction needed to be given. All the rest of the rhetoric is a moot point. There is no defense or justification for putting that kind of an act on, I don’t care who else has preached in that pulpit in the past.
No , that shouldn’t have ever been in church - on the stage . It does not look nice - it doesn’t feel right . . It feels wrong. I dont think Matk was wrong at all. Who knows how many men are fighting against lusting after other men , that was sitting there in the audience? Let everything be done in descents and in order to. Now, to the world - this probably seems like no big deal . Cause the world is awful and are use to seeing all kinds of things worse than this . But to men and women of God , it is out of order .
I'm no apologist for Mark Driscoll, however, I don't blame him for calling out this type of performance. Perhaps Mark Driscoll will learn a lesson from his participation in events like this, and re-examine the direction he has been going in the recent past.
I think it is more the way he did it more than calling it out. Likening that to an Asherah pole and invoking "the Jezebel spirit" is a dramatic performance, doubly so when Mark has been involved in the circus for years and says nothing until now.
@@beaberean3286 not to charismatics like Driscoll they aren't. And yes, demonic influence is real. However, we are also capable of sin and foolishness on our own with no influence necessary. We can't blame it all on them and not own up to it ourselves.

Why was that “entertainment” necessary? I can tell you right now, my pastor would not have sat through that performance, he too would have called out that outrageous behavior! Mark called a spade a spade.
Praise the Lord for men like Mark Driscoll! He does not entertain the worldly spirit that was being paraded on that stage. Jealousy is a curse guys and smugness is unbecoming.

When you get correctly called out by someone like Mark Driscoll you are not in a good place as a pastor…and John has not been a good place for quite a while.

This behavior out of Lindel by defending having a stripper in a church is completely unacceptable! I don’t know what book you’re reading, but the one that I read tells me that strippers in church I s not of Christ! That’s the kind of crap that He died on the cross for! 🤦🏻♀️
I find you, Justin Peters, as part of the problem with the church today. Mark Driscoll had the courage to stand up and call sexual immorality out. The Jezebel spirit is blatantly in the church.... If you can't see what the problem was with the opening 'act' then God help you
Looks like the Driscoll cult it out in full swing. Defending the guy that receives pornographic visions. teampyro.blogspot.com/2011/08/pornographic-divination.html?m=1
Leave it to Mark to blame the abject failing of this “men’s conference” on a woman. IE Jezabel. And I agree with Justin on this. The “Jezabel spirit isn’t a thing and just demonizes women even further.
Amen. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! ( Isaiah 5:20)
During the discussion about the Ahab and Jezabel spirit they got the definition wrong of what traits belong to each spirit (did they listen to Mark's sermon on the subject)? The Ahad spirit is passive while the Jezabel spirit is controlling... It's interesting that the women who have seen the video have said this was very much a strip show like performance, dudes just don't get it sometimes. Bottom line it was a very poor choice to have at a men's biblical conference, regardless of the Mark Driscoll controversery.
You are absolutely correct, they got it wrong and I believe that was intentional. The Ahab and Jezebel spirits can affect both men and women. Seemly both of these men have no idea what Ephesians 6:12 teaches us. In my view, they are both lying gossips.
he was NOT yanked from the stage...He humbly said *I receive that John , thank you* and got his stuff and left. If you condone this *entertainment more than your dislike of Mark* something is wrong. I believe he was right to call out what should not have been in the church to begin with.
@lespaul382 why do you even listen to Justin if you think he doesn't know truth? Honestly don't understand people like yourself...unless you're a mole and follow just to revile him.
What a bizarre comment on Driscoll. I think the so called "stronger man" is really a circus, Christian light nonsense. Justin you should have concentrated on that abortion of a show rather than attack Driscoll who as you say may be an opportunist, but that conference should be the issue here.
@@LadyoftheBunnies... You are weak spiritually if you agree with the hiring of a male stripper to open a men's conference. No matter what you think of Mark Driscoll (I don't even know who that is), you have to speak against sin in the camp. Revelation's letters to the 7 churches in Asia by the First and the Last, should be reason enough to know the importance of cleaning up the Lord's house. Have we forgotten when Jesus overturned the money changer's tables in anger about activities in the Lord's house?
@@LadyoftheBunnies no one is defending him but taking a stand for those appaling abominations that occur in the church. You guys have no idea of who Christ is? Then why are you so much like the world?
You’re making this about Mark Driscoll. You’re wrong. You speak on misinformation. Mark Driscoll was rebuking the opening act because they had a man rip his shirt off as he did things to a pole (much like a stripper pole) and started to swallow swords. As Mark Driscoll was told to leave the stage, they booed the pastor of the church who told Mark to stop. Then the audience booed the pastor. I understanding having an axe to grind because you dislike Mark Driscoll, but you’re spreading misinformation.
He should just got up and said said, "If Jesus was on the front row, what would He have thought about that man ripping off his shirt and climbing a stripper pole."
24:00 "did anyone really think this resembled a stripper performance?" YES. Literally everyone knows that is a stripper pole. That's what they're called.
And if you watch till almost the end he ends up upside down on the pole with his arms outstretched as Christ was upright with His arms outstretched nailed to a cross. Intentional or not from the performer the parallel is disturbing.
There was a stage. A stripper pole. Elevated Stage Red Lighting. A man with Black glittery clothing. The man ripped his shirt off. Then... The man slowly licked the whole sword before swallowing it. Then he ascended. Then quickly slid down and held his arms out as in the Appearance of an upside down depiction of christ on an upside down cross as he had the swird in his mouth! WTH!?
This whole debacle is embarrassing to the church. The fact that it's happening, the video exposing or explaining it, all of it is ridiculous. We should all be ashamed.
Regardless of what Mark Driscoll's history is, he was right to call out this homosexual display at what was supposed to be a Christian event. He lied about what we all saw on video? In your desire to criticize Driscoll, you come across as defending this ridiculous display at a what is supposed to be a Christian event.
Here’s what SHOULD and SHOULD NOT have happened: 1) The “performer“ should’ve been vetted and vetted carefully. 2) The “performance “should’ve been stopped immediately, mid-act, and John Lindell should have publicly apologized. 3) Mark Driscoll should’ve gone to John Lindell in private first, before calling out the “performance” as evil and disgusting (which it was). 4) Mark should have told him, “Are you going to condemn the ‘performance’ and apologize before I get up to speak?” 5) Mark should have refused to speak until the “performance” was condemned and a public apology given. 6) John should not have acted hypocritically by publicly calling out Mark for publicly calling out the “performance”. 7) People in charge of the “performance” selection and approval should resign.
I agree except, we don't know that Pastor Mark didn't first follow the Matthew model by going to the pastor first asking him to remove the performer. We don't know if he them went with a second person. Then it would be appropriate to call it out publicly. I agree completely with what you said in it's entirety except add the Matthew model for disagreement in the church.
Actually the Bible instructs us to go to the individual first, then take a witness, then publicly rebuke. We are not privy to these interactions that may or may not have taken place. Man, TV/UA-cam opens a lot bigger can of worms doesn't it. Add far as I've seen, Mark has publicly apologized and made amends even tho he stood by his stance on the pole dancer. Can you imagine being the pole dancer in all this? The world is so upside down. Help us Jesus!!!
Have you considered that if Mark first approached John, and John refused to apologize or allow Mark to get up and speak, then the act would not have publicly been condemned at all?
Hello Justin, theres a video on YT of Mark Driscoll apologizing for not talking to the pastor privately. Do you still think that Mark Driscoll had selfish intentions? I think he had good intentions.
What about the guy having a guy dancing on a stripper pole who used to be a stripper a male stripper swallowing swords with no shirt on in a church service? The guy used to be a male stripper and he's shirtless in a church service
Wow! I did not see this coming! What a let-down, dear Justin, that you are not letting the Holy Spirit lead you on this one. Prayers for your body and soul ♡
Pastor Driscoll's boldness is amazing! I wish if all servants of the most high God were as bold as he was at this event. "I THINK THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT GOT MAD ON PASTOR DRISCOLL"
The house of God is not a circus. Mark was right to call this out. He should not have apologised afterwards. Jesus didn't, when he dealt with the money changers at the temple. This church is grieving God with what they're doing. The church is failing in teaching God's word. I'm lost for words in expressing my disappointment with your attitude. I'm unsubscribing.

This is exactly the kind of chaos that I would expect from James River and Lindell. Just goes to show you that Lindell has zero discernment and that lack of discernment bit him hard this time. Stay away from this "church" and these "pastors".
1) the sword dude ripped off his 👕 shirt during the performance. He didn't simply take it off. 2) You didn't do your homework. The pole dancer did his act the day before! 24 hours earlier. Driscoll was hoarse (because he says on stage) that he was crying out before God what to say. (Not 30 min before, like you state.) 3) I've never seen a stripper pole, but in my ignorance, and only seeing the act on video, I can say it didn't sit right. It raised a red flag as a child of God. I felt it was a stripper stunt!
As a woman, I don't see how this kind of entertainment is what is necessary to develop stronger, Godly, men. What does this kind of show have to do with a Biblically spiritual men's conference? No wonder we're where we are.
Yes, what does real strong Christian manhood have to do with all that circus? And what does a *church* do, putting on that kind of entertainment?
BOOM
Nothing at all.
I second that as a woman! The devil is after the men for a reason.
@@NotTodaySatan705 No, the church, the true church, has not fallen. It is still strong. However, there are so many of these false churches, it is easy to think that the church has fallen.

And these 2 are naive to think that there are men in attendance who don’t struggle with their sexual orientation. Laughing about it even that it’s absurd. Denying there was anything sexual. I’m not an advocate of Mark Driscoll at all, however in this case I think he’s correct to call that out. Entertainment in the church is out of control

Justin Peters is a blister lover! 🤣😭
Not surprising
Regardless of what Justin thinks of Mark, it is bizarre for this to happen at a christian men conference.
Not really.... we are in the last days!

Its stupid and irreverent to God. It stinks of love of the world. So many churches today will do anything but open a Bible and study it in earnest.
They literally said it’s not and had no place at a gospel preaching conference. Did you even watch the video?
That’s not the point of the video. They’re not trying to defend what was done, as godly. They’re saying that he was being a showman. The claim that this event is a, “goat farm” deals with whether this is holy or not. The claim is that it wasn’t a homosexual display.

I'm even struggling to see how a 'Christian' pastor or organisation even employs an entertainer to do a pole dancing act in the first place. 😲😲🤦🏿♀️
Thank you Mark for doing what you did. People are so deceived.
@@wisdomrules8474Would you feel comfortable watching that in person at a Church Event?

YES. Literally everyone knows that is a stripper pole. That's what they're called.
And if you watch till almost the end he ends up upside down on the pole with his arms outstretched as Christ was upright with His arms outstretched nailed to a cross. Intentional or not from the performer the parallel is disturbing.
And the men's minds were immediately brought to a thought of a stripper with that performance.

He lied about what we all saw on video?
In your desire to criticize Driscoll, you come across as defending this ridiculous display at a what is supposed to be a Christian event.
Here’s what SHOULD and SHOULD NOT have happened:
1) The “performer“ should’ve been vetted and vetted carefully.
2) The “performance “should’ve been stopped immediately, mid-act, and John Lindell should have publicly apologized.
3) Mark Driscoll should’ve gone to John Lindell in private first, before calling out the “performance” as evil and disgusting (which it was).
4) Mark should have told him, “Are you going to condemn the ‘performance’ and apologize before I get up to speak?”
5) Mark should have refused to speak until the “performance” was condemned and a public apology given.
6) John should not have acted hypocritically by publicly calling out Mark for publicly calling out the “performance”.
7) People in charge of the “performance” selection and approval should resign.
Mark should not have gone to Lindell first as it was a public matter not a personal one.

That’s the guy that Pastor Mark called out & they are talking about.
It was wrong..but it wasn't a church service. It is a conference.
Same thing if they are teaching Bible and discipleship.
Wow! I did not see this coming! What a let-down, dear Justin, that you are not letting the Holy Spirit lead you on this one. Prayers for your body and soul ♡
This never should have been allowed in a Church conference.. Period.
The World offers us Beer & Skittles ... Bread & Circuses ... The Christians that were fed to the lions for entertainment may become the entertainment of modern churches ?? If the lion handlers show us their TITs' maybe that's permissible ??
I live in a coastal town Aussie & about 6yr ago and asked God to show me a christian (NOT perfect) that desires to serve Jesus faithfully, follow correct doctrine and 'If they Love Jesus ... KEEP HIS COMMANDS. I'm still waiting Lord ?? I'm am the worst of sinners myself but why would I go back to those Crap-Churches ??
Have you researched Mark Driscoll? He once called women "p€ni$ houses"
Absolute insanity how that was even possibly at a Christian conference to begin with, like what on earth!???
Dude we get it you don't like Driscoll but whatever your thoughts are, he was on point here.
The one guy laughed as if the gay element was ridiculous. I’m prettty shocked at the nativity.
It was a stunt pulled off by both of them! Driscoll knew about it well beforehand!
@@shuffman8094What has the Nativity got to do with anything and why is it shocking?
@@caroldonaldson5936 I think he meant to say naivete LOL
@@amyroberts7990 Thank you - I clearly don't have the gift of interpretation!👍😂
Not yanked off stage. Not exposed as a liar. Because the headlines of this were actual lies, I decided NOT to watch anything else.
This is exactly the kind of chaos that I would expect from James River and Lindell. Just goes to show you that Lindell has zero discernment and that lack of discernment bit him hard this time. Stay away from this "church" and these "pastors".
Jesus said be of good cheer... for I have overcome the world.
Sounds like a total circus all around, but Driscoll called out something that needed to get called out.
You two are saying the stupidest thing in this whole conversation. Are you two seeing the same thing everybody else is seeing.
Agreed this is not what our men’s conference is like. If you need to strip to entertain your missing Gods mark
Pastor Mark called it out. Truth is its he standing unapologetically for the things of God. We need more men that will do the same
Stop calling him, Pastor Mark because he’s not a pastor
He is a fraud.
Is that why Driscoll backed down and apologized in front of all of them?
@@MrRF007 nope won't. 💪🏽
@@pastortodd1964 nope not.💪🏽
1) the sword dude ripped off his 👕 shirt during the performance. He didn't simply take it off.
2) You didn't do your homework. The pole dancer did his act the day before! 24 hours earlier. Driscoll was hoarse (because he says on stage) that he was crying out before God what to say.
(Not 30 min before, like you state.)
3) I've never seen a stripper pole, but in my ignorance, and only seeing the act on video, I can say it didn't sit right. It raised a red flag as a child of God. I felt it was a stripper stunt!
