Astonishing model and above all your techique. You're a champion. I'm doing now Merkava III from Academy and I will try some of your steps. I will say that I'm a lousy student. You must have patient. Congratulations. Bravo!!! José Lucas Lisbon Portugal
Fantastic video my friend beautifully finished love the extra details really adds that realism to the build great techniques and well explained thanks for sharing and stay safe 👍🙏
Wspaniały! Of course the painting and standard weathering techniques provide a great foundation, but the additional details you added take this to another level. I think the final appearance is nearly perfect, bravo 👏
Model looks great and very realistic ... Love the little touches (. 50 cal belt connectors are a genius addition imo) and all the attention to detail... And you've inspired me to add a chain to my Sherman Jumbo model 😉. Love the channel.... Keep going
Excellent work you continue to delivery a very high standard of finish, well done. Have you considered using a calligraphy pen knib for application of pin washes, it allows a much more accurate application of the washes? Just dip the pen knib in the wash and away you go, much more accurate than using a paint brush.
Lukas! a truly well done superb detailing and very inspiring I have yet to build any Merkeva but this has now changed in my opinion and I will now go ahead and build one! many thanks for showing your techniques and frank narrative both amusing and straight to the point. I look forward to your next project. 👍😎
Whats not to like? Amazing attention to detail as always. For us who try to copy and fail miserably ....could you add captions to the screen for the details of the items you use....what type of pencil/paintbrush you use for example....it would eliminate some guesswork, thanks for another great video and build.
Darren, for me it's not a problem to answer the question about stuff I use. Even better to write smth and discuss than adding some single pic or caption. SO if you have any doubts just let me know :) Thx for your comment! :)
Hi Lukasz. I really don't want to take up your time but i'd really appreciate if you could tell me what paintbrush you used for the chipping and what grade of pencil you prefer for the metallic detailing?! Thanks again.
@@DazP2835 for chipping I used 3/0 or 5/0 paintbrush from AK or some local Polish brand Kozlowski. And about the pencil I really like 4B becasue it is really soft. But I also used mechanical hard pencil to make some really small scratches.
Nice work! Did you use White Spirit to fix pigments to sides of the hull as well? Didn't it blend the pigment around, ruining these nice streaks you've made? Asking as I'm currentlu trying to figure out how to make dust streaks on my Merkava (it's my first tank scale model).
@@coldemonsplokay, thanks! Yeah, by dust streaks I meant the 18:00 minute, because when I use white spirit on such flat surface it just mess the effect blending it and spreading all over, not keeping such sharp detail of dust
To answer your question, I think a compromise is most fitting for the final result. It is a fucking cool and great piece of Shit 😂. Jokes aside, this is a great result!!
Amazing, pay attention - in reality\combat, there were not be any visible items (such as bags or oranges... especially with bright colors), In genera. If you do add, it should be "kitbag" pack and should be strained to the hole.
Well, discussing. But what is the most important is that this is a model and need to be eyecatcher. This is why I add the additional stuff. The 100% copy of reality on the model looks boring and flat. :)
