Freightliner Condor Heil Python - Mid Valley Disposal

One of my favorite finds in a long time. Mid Valley piqued my interest years ago, primarily because their livery meets two things I'm a sucker for: logos with trucks in them, and colored frame rails and chassis components. Being that they've been purchasing lots of new equipment in recent years (primarily Amreps on Autocars and Peterbilts, nothing out of the ordinary especially compared to what dominates a couple hours south in SoCal), they've never been too high on my list because of the difficulty involved in actually finding some of their older stuff. After some research and some poking around, it became apparent to me they actually still have a lot more older stuff than I've been led to believe as long as you look in the right areas. This was actually one of multiple, older, ex-Waste Connections trucks in Mid Valley's Visalia yard when we filmed this. I was super stoked to have actually managed to find one, and it was running quite well too. The fast arm to begin with coupled with combined functions made it very enjoyable to watch. This was filmed in the tiny little City of Farmersville, a city that was previously collected by Sunset Waste until they were bought by Mid Valley which is why the city has a mix of Sunset and Mid Valley carts. Anyways, I’m actually really pleased with how the video came out too, so I hope you enjoy it and of course thanks to the driver.

Wasn't MVD's fleet cool? They also had 7k's but the last one they had filmed by Zach I believe has been replaced with a new Amrep now. What started off as a small family owned company on Fresno County has turned into a big competition for various haulers following the 2 contracts they recently acquired both required new trucks and carts. Shame they have started replacing trucks but they are doing so rather slowly instead of quick. As a bonus, the newer trucks there buying are diesels.
