Hi peter, i dont normaly go for hounds mate time is never on my side , the only advice i can give you mate is find some deepish water 2 hours before low water smallish hooks on a pulley rig with crab , go on mate get the gear out theres a nice hound waiting for you , all the best and good luck
hello jamie, keep trying mate if all else fails mate use softies or hard back crab fresh squid or prawn , just make sure your drag is set on your reel lol. take care mate and good luck

Hiya mate , my fireblades are 13ft mate i think the tips are perfect derek bite detection great and you can load them up great when you get the hang of them , thanks mate take care
Just an update on my previous comments, bought a 13ft Fireblade, really nice rod, delivered yesterday used tonight, as you say casts really well and can only get better when used to it more, can’t comment on bite detection, as did not have any ! ! Ha Ha, local Easy Devon beaches not fishing too well lately, but time will tell on bite detection I hope soon Go Steady Derek
