13:00 So as for what happens to bbs in airsoft arenas from what I've heard, the amount of bbs fired on airsoft fields are fairly negligible compared to other sources of plastic waste. Even so, some people have started making and using biodegradable bbs to address this concern.
Yup not only that most of the time these area's get urbanized or sanitized after it gets sold to a new corporation so the plastic bb's dont matter anymore if a 1km skyscraper gets put on it
In Germany (atleast at the fields I played) you are not allowed to use non biodegradable bbs. ^^
IIRC, if the game is played in a airsoft "house" like in the clip ai 3:15, people tend to use plastic bb since it can be clean up, and they are cheaper, but if the game is in the wild or abandoned facilities, they have to use bio degradable bb

All airsoft bb's used for airsoft are all-natural biodegradable and made from either plant or animal matter, not plastic, which is partly why you don't just re-use bb's when you run out of ammo aside from the fact that shooting the same bb twice could break your gun. Either way if you use plastic bb's they aren't exactly toxic and plastic of that size takes only a couple years to deteriorate compared to most plastic products that actually harm the environment, nonetheless always buy biodegradable bb's
When I was a kid my cousin and I would have Airsoft battles at my gmas and my gpa said he still seen some BBs like a 5 years after but finally they are all gone, that was like when I was teenager and now I'm 30 but I only buy biodegradable now even tho I havnt got a chance to play in so many years! Lol
? Not all airsoft bb's used for airsoft are biodegradable. Some are plastic. Just any decent outdoor field only sells and allows biodegradable. Cqb fields tend to be more loose about plastic vs bio

As for the 40mm grenade to the chest, those bad boys hold about 70 BB's. He may have been using less shots but damn grenade to the chest would be gnarly
40mm wouldn’t explode at that distance needs X amount of rotation to arm the explosive.
About your question, many BBS are biodegradable, but take a really long time to degrade.
Those gernade launchers don't really have any range. They pretty much are just oversized shot guns.

A lot of fields that are mostly dirt and structures allow pyro nades. Doesn't make sense with dry foliage

After seeing the Finnish Ehasa video, just got back into watching my old hobby videos and jeez is there are difference in the entire culture of EU and US airsoft :D Not gonna say which is better, but hey...
some are biodegradable, those are the only ones i used because i played in nature and outdoors,however many people use plastic indoors and outdoors, and its sad the outdoor people still use plastic ones, and plastic in general isnt great. i think the ones i used were 180 day biodegradable.
I only ever use biodegradable, yeah we like guns and shooting people but we also like taking care of the environment first.
you can buy biodegradable bbs from some manufactures and companies which work the same and are safer for the enviroment

Usually indoor fields require non-biodegradable bbs while outdoor fields require bio ones.

i would love to try airsoft in professional setting but i know professionals dont want a first timer there to fuck up xD
Couldn't be me. Professional airsoft is pretty much limited to speedsoft. I haven't seen any pro airsoft setting that rewards the snipers and team players. Just the hicapa banned from paintball fields for a variety of reasons guys.
