I used an NIV chronological Bible for a couple of run throughs. Absolute game changer in terms of enhancing my Biblical Theology and fitting the pieces together. Highly recommend everyone do a chronological run at least once. The other highlight is that the genealogies of 1 Chronicles are distributed wherever they’re relevant so you can read them at their most useful.
I had always been a little skeptical of the NLT, but after watching a couple reviews of this Bible, I started reading the NLT on my phone. I was kind of impressed, so I ordered the paperback version. I still use my ESV study Bible for Sunday school, but I like this version for daily reading.
We added the flexible option of beginning on Jan. 1 or beginning anytime in the year on day 1 and read through the Bible in a year, just beginning on any day of the year.
I find the printed day of the year to be annoying. I may want to go ahead or I may pause for a busy week. I don't want to be tied to a printed date. Just call the first day "Day 1". I have done the Chrono approach before, and will do it again. This is an excellent way to see how everything fits together.
Great video Tim. I’ve got the NKJV Chronological Bible in the leathersoft. A really beautiful Bible - full colour with lots of features. I was disappointed to see this Bible is not full colour nor available in leather or leathersoft. If you use it for your read along next year, I think I’ll read along as well three pages at a time in my existing Bible. Great Bible but I wish they’d done more with the cover options and colour.
Absolutely agree, wish it was in colour! And larger than 8.5 pt font would be good. I have the NLT Chronological Life Application bible and it’s 10 pt font and absolutely beautiful usage of colour. Not sure why they chose to go this black & white route especially for a daily reader/study bible.
This looks like it would be great for my Studies. I'm glad you did a Review of this one. I have the NLT Chronological Life Application Study Bible which is AWESOME! I also have the NIV Chronological Study Bible which is fabulous. But as for a One-Year Chronological Study Bible like this one ~ not yet in my Bible Library. Now that I see how it is laid out it may be worth getting! Have a blessed day, and keep those Reviews coming ~ 👏🌄
Thank you much. I was looking at every section with you. It made more sense for me to go over it with you. I appreciate you. Thank you for your time. I chose this one for our bible study, and this will help explain it to everyone.
Gidday Tim. I've just watched this video on this Chronological Bible, and I was that impressed with how you reviewed it etc that during the video, I paused it and ordered it from Amazon lol. Thank you so much for recommending this, and I look forward to adding it to my collection 🙂 Thankyou and God Bless xx
I like that each day is numbered, not just dated, because you can start reading any day of the year, and not have to wait for January 1st! And if you need to miss a few days of reading, you're not really getting behind, you just pick up where you left off.
I have the Kindle version of this Bible on my Christmas list. I appreciate your review. I hope I will be able to use all of the features with an electronic book.
@@user56gghtf I did receive this and last year, I didn't manage to follow it through the year. I am on track this year. I like to synopsis at the beginning of each day's readings and the questions at the end. I have marked those so I can go back and refer to them. I also like the internal links in the electronic version so I can click on them and go to the reference immediately.
@@davegarciaofficial I personally don't care for the NLT. I feel like it waters down the Word of God a little to much for my liking. I've owned NLT Bibles before so I'm not making a judgment on it without ever having read it for myself.
@@candaceguinn1817 yes but the “problem” is that most people read the old 1996 NLT before the major revisions and so have based their judgments on that. The 2015 revision has truly changed the game in terms of accuracy and yet readability. To each their own of course. But personally as an “ambassador” for the NLT I’m trying to get more people to let go of their preconceived ideas of what the NLT was (usually based on the much looser 1996 edition) and open up to what it is now - an accurate translation that I and many others feel reads better than any other.
Is there something like this that exist in the filament version? So basically I'm looking for a compact chronological bible that has the filament feature so that when I'm in study mode I would have access to all the charts, articles, maps, footnotes etc via my phone. Basically, looking for a portable bible that still give access to the comprehensive study bible resources (via the app) when needed.
I love this bible because it's like having the harmony of the gospels in a book format. The only thing I'm not a fan of is some of the questions they ask at the end of each section don't make sense to me.
They do have a full-color addition which they did a couple of years ago and is still for sale. you can get it in NLT and also KJV. They do it in leather soft and 1 leather I think. but its study bible size as I have it in hardback

Great to hear!
It’s so much more readable! Agreed, I use other versions for analysis.

Very true!
Oh yeah, this looks Interesting, I enjoy reading chronologically. Hopefully everyone has a great day. MARANATHA
It's a fun one!
My Niece got me this bible for Christmas. It has been a great and unique study experience! :-)
Wonderful!
This has become my devotional go to…highly recommend to anyone who wants to get the Bible’s “big picture”. Highly recommend to all.

@@sylviastutzman761 Ok. Thank you for the update
@@sylviastutzman761 I was just thinking of getting the kindle version because the notes are to small to read.
My only issue with ALL Chonological bibles is the small font. There is nothing available larger than 11pt.
I hope they do other translations. I really want one of these in NKJV.
The 2015 NLT is an incredible translation for a project like this.

Love the Bible 📖
Just ordered my copy.

Great video… I just got mines. I am wondering can you tab add tabs to this Bible? and how is that even possible. Just curious.
I’m getting the niv one
This is only available in the NLT. There are other One Year Bibles in the NIV but not like this
Basically, in a way, he/she was saying he/she would not buy it @@krpolsley
Does it have a sewn binding?
Does this bible have a commentary after each daily reading
What is the price and in India where can i buy
will that bible be in giveaway
Interesting looking Bible.
Yes indeed!
Hi! I heard this was missing books from the Bible. Did you find this to be true?
No it’s not lol
No leather edition?
Not yet!

Get the King James Version as it is a more accurate translation.
