      These expressions are more intermediate - I would suggest you to watch our lessons from the Polish Basics or Polish for Beginners playlists :)

    🤔so Polish language use mieć as 'to get' or 'to be' in English and Spanish. Id have use 'to be' in most of those sentences, never to have. There's no translation, one must memorize those expressions with mieć. 🤔🤗🤗Thx a lot 👍

      Yes, you're right, it's not really possible to translate these expressions. Good to practise them :)

    „Wszystkie ciasteczka mają być zjedzone”, said nauczycielka as przerwa was almost ending and I was letting one cookie in the package. That took place one year ago and your fine lesson has reminded of that situation.
    Nie już chodzę do szkoły, więc te zajęcia są dla mnie ważne. Dziękuję bardzo!

    Dziękuję bardzo. When I'm thinking about it - in Czech we also alternate i vs y depending on the gender. Měli (m or mixed), měly (f or mixed f and n), měla (only n). But you upgraded it when you also alternate l vs ł 😃. So you never write łi, that's why there must be "normal" l? I see statistically you prefer ł over l 😃😃. For me it is hard to remember where is ł or l because we merged them. One Polish guy advised to use Slovak (ľ -> l, l -> ł). Sometimes it works 🙂.

      true, 'ł' tends to be followed by 'y' rather than 'i'

    Nie ma was w domu? Here we have to use wasz right?

    • @polishwithblondes
      @polishwithblondes  5 місяців тому

      'Wasz' means yours (plural), so it can't be used in this sentence, it has to be 'was' (you - plural in the genitive case) and not 'wasz' here
