For those of you who are curious, with the discount from the Patreon, the entire army set of stls was roughly $21. Plus OPR has announced that they will be releasing more models for this army next year. Also, if you subscribe this month, you will get the 70% off discount as well. In addition, they change their Welcome set every three months now. For $10 a month, it's a phenomenal value. Finally, they are releasing fleets for their starship battles game on the Patreon until they have released all of the factions.
I think a little green stuff putty would go a long way - it would have removed those model lines where all the pieces were joined together. With that said, the model looks great and I really have enjoyed both this video, and the video you did previously comparing the models. Keep up the good work!
I've been a Patreon of One Page Rules for a while and really love their models. More of a fan of their Sci-Fi Grimdark models and ruleset. Now if someone would come up with an army list that is inspired by Doom. So I can have the Demons, UAC cultists, vs the Doomslayer and the Knight Sentinels.
@@Rakaziel Thanks for the suggestions. I have some models by BattleYak, his Sentinels of Primus I can use for Doomslayer and Knight Sentinels. And his Blightghast, Wargast and Dregborn for some of the Possessed. The Wargast Blight-Hulk I need to kitbash in 3D builder to make a Mancubus style mini. The Blightersturn Reanimatrix I'm going to use for Olivia Pierce pre-Spidermind.
OPR are brilliant. I love them you also see the quality of their stuff going up each month :-) I am more so on their Grimdark Future ruleset myself but 3d printing is the way. Its cheaper to get a printer, resin some STLs be it bought, free or pateron, print it all off than it is to buy an Army for games like AOS
Looking forward to printing and painting this guy. Just picked up the file yesterday. I have until April when the next Saurian units come out from One Page Rules or else I'll be in trouble lol. Thanks for sharing your painting and showcasing.
I printed this out in resin over the past few days. Printed hollow, used ~$10 worth of resin. I think this is a situation where resin printing is more practical!
I'm 99% sure you can print this with less than a bottle of resin. I just printed the version without the howdah, with only the head and part of the tail from a new bottle, but I had already printed 20+ minis from that 1kg bottle.
question. I have a resin printer (elegoo saturn) that ive been printing minis on and its a blast. however im looking to print larger things, mainly terrain pieces. its my understanding that fdm is the way to go with large things like that that dont need the detail 28mm minis. what is a fdm printer that you would recommend without breaking the bank as i already broke the bank with my resin printer lol also i really really appreciate the painting tutorials that are at the bank end of all these model showcases, it super helpful and i like that i dont have to hunt down a second video. Thumbs up!
Thanks for the thumb, Malcom! A lot of people go with the Creality Ender 3 (or a clone) which you can get for under $200. BUT, you will need to be willing to tweak and adjust and do some mods to get it to print well. Since a ton of people have the printer, you will find a lot of support online for how to do this. Hope that helps!
@@gaminggeek241 that absolutely helps thank you:) I was actually looking at that printer as my local microcenter has it on sale. I've subscribed and look forward to more of your content!
for those ultra big models i print hollow and then fill them with high density expanding liquid foam, otherwise the print time would be too much for me - the electricity grid here isnt 100% stable.
I just give little bit of heads up. If you subscribe them for certain period( I believe it’s around 3-4 months) you can get dread saurian as an loyalty reward.
@@gaminggeek241 i actually want to try for some grimdark style starships. Never played battlefleet gothic. But since OPR has free rules, and i am getting a mars 2 pro in a few days, i think it is time to try 😁 You also sold me on those lizard boys 😄 Thank you for responding 🙂 Looking forward to your next video
For those wanting to get into warhammer, make sure you are aware that playing at any Games Workshop store or sanctioned events, and most tournaments will not be an option for you with a 3D printed army. While cheaper and more convenient, don't be surprised if you will be limited to casual games at home or your local game store playing with 3D printed models

Soul-Snatcher Cults work for cultists, maybe some Titan Lords for the big units.

There is a doom (2016) boardgame that has some awesome minis, I hope that this helps your search.
@@CaptainBipto MiniMonsterMayhem on MMF has demons (including a centerpiece and a dragon) in November.

I really enjoy these types of videos, I find that ever since I printed out some one page rules stuff I am hungry for more content on it.
Really fun looking giant mini... may need another college fund it's so big! haha Thanks for all the top quality 3d printing content!

Yeah, you have to do a little at a time or it's overwhelming!
That's a bit like humans going into battle on the back of a giant gorilla.

Did you have any issues with it being fragile / brittle because of being hollow?
You’re a genius with rattle can.
WOW! The Dread Behemoth is chock full of fantasy boardgames mini greatness! Thank you.
I love the standees you have for layering more minis in a cabinent. Any chance you could share where you found that?

You and "Commissar Gamza" could bring down Games Workshop. He is the big mouth while you are the guy who actually put the money where your mouth is.
that eyes...omg...XD DISNEY DINOSAUR...
Great video! Did you scale this guy up at all or was this printed with the stock size?
This is the stock size.
Games Workshop needs competition to stop their hamfisted greedy methods (and to revive TTS)
Just found your channel yesterday.
And i love those comparisons 🙂
You make great videos 🤘😁
Take my subscription, good sir

Great model, great paintjob, great video.
Was it difficult to remove those supports?
Not too bad, but I don't use the stock settings in PrusaSlicer to make it easier to remove.
What a monster!!

Honestly I think the dread saurian from raven twin miniatures is far better
Amazing!
the one in this video is nicely painted but is so far behind the quality of the forgeworld one sadly.
