Vsync works fine if you have G-SYNC monitor or GSYNC premium)

vsync in game is way different story than GSYNC. Never turn on vsync in game, if you getting like 150fps or even 130 fps and game feels smooth to you, turn off every sync option, if you getting lower fps or 130 doesnt feel too smooth to you only then you should turn on GSYNC in nvidia control panel AND gsync or freesync in monitor settings (cuz sync on gpu and monitor needs to be turned on together to work), AND NEVER use vsync in game cuz every sync setting increase input lag, and vsync increase a lot, when GSYNC is better option of sync cuz it does not increase that much.
To be more precise, if you have 144Hz monitor and you getting atleast 140fps in game, dont use any sort of SYNC, if you getting 80fps then if the game isnt that smooth as you want, only then use GSYNC and only GSYNC, not VSYNC (in game)

Off the bat: Vsync is a setting that needs a separate and/or several other videos depending on your hardware. Leave it out. Dont wana be assuming peoples hardware man.
