I've been thinking about writing a Digimon fanfiction with the cast being based on characters from other anime. I planned to partner Herissmon with a character based on Simon from Gurren Lagann. I thought the idea sounded really cool.
I played the heck out of Dawn/Dusk so Lunamon and Coronamon's lines have a lot of nostalgic attachment for me. We keep seeing Lunamon and evos in games and such but no Coronamon. My hopes aren't high for that getting rectified given the latter's unfortunate name though 😥

I would LOVE a Keramon as a major plot-relevant partner Digimon: He'd still be naively destructive and would cause mischief, but kept happy by constantly feeding him flash drives of data to munch on, and eventually learns to do the right thing and control it's instincts (Could maybe tie into how in the Digimon Chronicle X storyline, Jesmon takes a Kuramon egg to raise as a royal knight). There's some AMAZING art by sashakatcher that shows Angela Andaconda drawn like a Digimon character with a Keramon partner which is adorable). Ofc, Arata from Cyber Sleuth has a Keramon, but it never really had a role in the story as it's own character... beyond that, I would have said OG Falgomon and Syakomon, but Survive did those! I really do wish Survive gave Shellmon it's own Perfect/Ultimate stage that makes sense, though, like a a big Sea Anemone or maybe a Nautilus with gooey tentacles. Also, a more fitting perfect stage to bridge Diatrymon to Valdurmon or Ornismon beyond Yatagaramon
Keramon deserves it. Honestly it was kinda a missed oppurtunity in Cybersleuth. His infermon leaves when he becomes part eater. Maybe it could have helped us, or sought us out to help him.
I’d love to see more of hudiemon just to get a full line which would feel a lot different from the other insect Digimon. And bearmon kotemon and monmon 100% deserve more. For me I’d love to see more of mitatamamon. I never really liked sliepmon for kudamon but mitatamamon is SOOO perfect

A "Digimon World" based anime would be cool. Throw the World 3 trio and maybe some other Digimon World series Digimon for the partners. Then have them have to explore the Digital World to save it and get back to their own, eventually getting the DigiBeetle to get around more efficiently.
Id personally would love to see more anime adaptations of the video games. When i first saw xros wars, part of me thought it was like an adaptation of world 2. But id honestly love to see legit recognition to world 2 and 3
My number one pick is DORUmon for a main protagonist. Not only is it adorable, but with all the focus the series has had with Omegamon, there's so much to be explored with the empty seat of the Royal Knights. Why it was empty, whether the knights stand for good, whether the protag and their partner can unite them under one goal, etc. Perfect opportunity for a rival to have Ryudamon, as well. In recent appearances Alphamon has made since his debut, we've been robbed of his rookie form. DORUmon has been slept on outside of some manga, yet has all the qualities necessary to be a perfect companion to a gogglehead.
Honestly, OUT OF all of the digimon you mentioned, I want Aegiomon, Lunamon and Coronamon to become partner digimon in a new season. For a few reasons actually. For one, we'd finally have digimon tied to the Olympos XII in protagonist roles instead of side and/or antagonist roles like in Data Squad (Merukimon), Xros Wars (Neptunemon, Lunamon, Coronamon, Mervamon, Marsmon and Apollomon) and Ghost Game (Sirenmon. Yes, I'm counting her). And secondly, the Olympos XII would finally get the exposure they desperatelly need, especially the ones that haven't appeared in anime or video games, like Ceresmon and Jupitermon. Honestly though, I just want Plutomon to be a main antagonist in a digimon season as well

@@mudawott If Plutomon were to become an ally/good guy, I'd go with this: Like their real world inspirations, Jupitermon, Neptunemon and Plutomon are brothers, but Plutomon's views on peace cause the other Olympian digimon to cast him out. But later, the protagonist needs Plutomon's help which leads to him and the other Olympian digimon reconciling. That's my idea on how it would go.

I think completing Bearmon's evolution line with new designs is a good idea, but I think Kotemon has plenty of options within existing Digimon. Koemon/Monmon also has a good couple choices for evolution but he definitely needs his own Mega.
Bearmon honestly only really needs a Champion imo. For Kotemon and Monmon I'd like to lean more into their attributes and appearance. Hanumon and Gokuwmon are quite good for Monmon though.

I would love to see a Bemmon as Partner. And Volcanicdramon and Metallicdramon for twins or a character who isnt good at decisions and they are his good or bad side. Or Logic and Feelings. Aegiomon is what i want for a Anime. He reminds me with his different forms of Gammamon and the Idea of a Hybrid Digimon between Human and Digimon. Im actually writing ideas for a Digimon Gangster Anime or Game. And put in things like Fans wanted to see as well what i would love to see. Of course its a bit more sinister because it has many adult Moments like Drugs and Prostitution and other things.
Ok so Aegismon: I love that idea oh him starting out as human. For most like half of the series, he could have a weak in training, and halfway through, they combine. If I was going with video game original digimon who need partners, I'd definitely go with Monmon and Kotemon, but Coronamon and Lunamon I definitely want to see as partners, too since I have some nostalgia for Digimon World 3 and Digimon World Dawn and Dusk. It would be nice to have a new Mega for the Monmon/Apemon/Gokuwmon line and maybe something to go after Gorillamon, and I'd like to see an alternative to Crusadermon as a holy knight digimon like Paladinmon or Templarmon.
I wish the World 3 trio of Bearmon, Kotemon, and Monmon would be partners in a series. It feels like they were meant to be part of something bigger. It'n not from a game, but I'm honestly kinda surprised Goblimon hasn't been a partner as far as I'm aware. Even if it weren't a partner in an anime season, it would be a good pick for a game like Survive. A neat video idea I had, what if all the Survive partners had full Moral/Wrathful/Harmony digivolution trees like Takuma's Agumon.

Before even watching, I'm just throwing my bit in, I would love a candlemon partner, particularly with the wizardmon, mistymon, and Dynasmon line. (though I'd also love even more if they found a knight that focuses more on the fire and magic theme for the mega evolution) if you've seen a few of my other comments when it comes to digimon partners, yes, Candlemon is exactly who i'd want as a partner Edit: the video title wasn't loading and I only caught the part about digmon that deserve to be anime partners bit. leaving my comment because I still stand by it, but I don't have any actually 2 cents to throw in for digimon known mostly from video games.
I think there should be anime with no humans partners at the start that just circles around Aegiomon and the Olympus XII and then later human explorerers can get transported into the digital world and try to survive and Aegiomon will be a scout and form as a human partner before realizing the humans shouldn't be eliminated by the Olympus XII or something. Or just have an only Digimon anime kinda like the X Evolution movie, I think that would be sick with the royal knights as well

I’d very much love to see these Digimon as anime partners one day. Bemmon particularly, due to it’s nature as an articifically created Digimon, I could see as being similar to 02 BlackWarGreymon, starting as an enemy, and then being freed from the control of the antagonist and becoming an ally.

So, sadly, Xiechemon's rookie is going to be Biyomon/Piyomon, but many people would rather it be Penmon. However, some time ago, someone turned the Paledea starters into Digimon, and "Quaxmon" (Quaxly turned Digimon) would be perfect as its Rookie.
Personally I would love for a future MC in any Digimon media (Anime, Game, doesn't matter) to have a Dracomon as his partner, it's honestly baffling that such an Agumon-lookalike Digimon has never been used as a Partner for the main cast

I'll keep arguing that Neodevimon's name isn't all that specific to Neo Saiba. For years before reading V-Tamer I thought it was just a natural name for a stronger Devimon, a New Devimon, if you will. Also I never made the connection of NeoDevimon and Neo Saiba until you pointed out a couple dozen videos ago. The Cyber Sleuth one .. is fully named after the character, unless they give him a hoodie.

I think Kodokugumon deserves to be a partner digimon, as like a Tentomon counterpart for an Izzy counterpart. If I had a digimon, it would be Kodokugumon -> Dokugumon. Although I'm not in love with Arukenimon as an ultimate stage, and while Gyukimon is better, I'd prefer it stay an insect type.
It may not be a video game Digimon, but Dracomon should be a proper partner - and no, I'm not counting Xros Wars. An old idea I had would have seen a Dracomon as a googlehead's partner, and later on an antagonist Tamer would appear with their own. They'd get the Blue and Green Coredramon respectively, and eventually the second Tamer would have a face turn and they'd become DNA digivolve partners to get Examon.
This video made me think about monmon and kotemon nonstop Sepikmon is way to similar in concept to Monmon (ranged tribal monkey) to skip that, altough that's an armor. But I've thinking about an ultimate that leads it into a mayan monkey archer with high mobility, shooting with hands and feet mid acrobatic jump . The mega could be inspired by the scene where king kong shoots trees as javelins into airplanes, carrying over the mayan aesthetics About kotemon, Samudramon is perfect for it, being both of them purple dragons with traditional japanese armor and swordfighting style. So it would require a champ and ultimate to fill in between, probably being the ultimate a more monstruous form, like a big dino with blades replacing parts of it's body. Niumber 1 should be Dorumon and Ryudamon. Neither had a human partner and both are video game Digimon. Dorumon was in X-Evolution, but there was no tamers in the movie. So all we have is video games for the 2.

I'm actually working on a Dusk/Dawn rom hack including some fan favorite digimon like Blucomon and Vorvomon, I'm doing species specific quests to make grinding for Species EXP easier and I've made my own unique digimon including an Ultimate and Mega for Hudiemon and an official Rookie for Tyrannomon, and a Rabbit themed mega for Antylamon among other goodies including playable Sovereigns, all Demon Lords playable and all the Olympus 12 Playable. However it takes a long time to make a Rom Hack, it won't be available to play until late 2023 at the earliest. Would you like to be one of the first to play it?
I want a season with naive good boy who partners up with a mischievious and malicious Black Agumon and tries to teach him to be a good boy. Antagonists would be "good guys" or moreso "angels" who try to capture Black Agumon or something, because he is malicious. And Black Agumon had a past vendetta against them but has memory loss, so he just hates them instinctively. Like Agumon would be more animal like and acts like dinosaur rather than usual behaviour. Kinda like in first movie. And I really want his line to end up with Omegamon Alter-B. I really love the edgy design of Alter-B. Or maybe a sequel to Digimon Adventure 2020, where Agumon and others end up with X-Antibody, call children back because Digital World is in total chaos and they have to fight against Royal Knights and all. DORUmon and Ryudamon should appear too. Imagine Taichi losing it and Gaioumon getting a proper appearance, not like what we got in Xros Wars, where an X-Antibody Ultimate couldn't beat a mid-tier Perfect.
I mean, for what it's worth, Pokemon itself has never really been too hung up on releasing Pokemon in their "Generation" batch either, even though most of them do get dropped that way, we also consistently have cases of Pokemon like Ho-Oh, Togepi, Donphan, Marill, Munchlax or Lucario, or the alternate forms of Zygarde, appearing in content (primarily the anime, but also spin-off games) way before the games they eventually appeared in even got properly announced as well, we've had them announce new Pokemon mid-Generation as well more recently, with the additional Ultra Beasts added in Ultra Sun and Moon, or the DLC for Sword and Shield, and we had Meltan that officially doesn't belong to a Generation and was introduced in Pokemon Go. I think the point where the main difference comes in there is primarily due to Digimon not really focusing on any one medium, I'd say, although I'm pretty sure we also generally get a lot of new Digimon in batches with new VPet releases, which might be comparable to Pokemon, where Pokemon still seems to want to primarily focus around the games, even if their main source of income definitely is merchandising, and the anime is probably generally better known. As for the ACTUAL topic of this video... Cardmon definitely seems like it could be an interesting partner for a side-character, similar maybe to one of the less important hunters in Xros Wars Hunters, or of course the international Chosen Children in 02. As for the Story-mons and Blucomon, -first up I'm pretty sure Coronamon also had an appearence in Xros Wars, although it was only as a side-character for like a scene or two, as Spadamons friend, iirc- the Story-mons in particular feel like they could've or should've been the partners of main-characters around their time, of the season after Savers... which ended up being Xros Wars, which did a lot of weird, controversial things, so maybe for the best that they didn't have a major role there (except for Apollomon as one of the Death Generals of course, the only one that wasn't a completely new Digimon), although I will say that, thinking about it, Lunamon as a partner for Nene perhaps, and Coronamon as a member of Blue Flare, while perhaps not replacing their main Digimon, sounds like it would've been a cool idea, especially since that would've kinda mirrored with Spadamon being a member of Xros Heart aaaaand I forgot that Spadamon isn't technically in a group with those other 2... pain. Or perhaps, alternatively, as partners for the "antagonist"-trio in Hunters, instead of Opposumon and Dracmon, perhaps. As for Hyokomon... honestly, I thought Lost Evolution was before Dusk and Dawn, but appearently no, otherwise I would've said it could've replaced the 2006 redesign of Falcomon, but it actually came out 2010, the time of Xros Wars, so... -better partner for Yu than Damemon, just sayin'- . Blucomon... kinda had unfortunate timing, I feel, pretty sure the seasons that followed it were Appmon and Adventure 2020, where of course it couldn't really appear as a partner. I could see it getting a cameo in Ghost Game, but as a partner there also feels somewhat unlikely, even for a 6th ranger kinda character. But all of them feel like they'd be really cool... although at the same time, all of them have that "main character"-feel due to, of course, at least the Story-Digimon, all being either the main characters most notable partner or a central character in their respective game, which kinda makes it feel unrealistic for either of them to appear as partners, since they'd probably want to give someone of that importance a new Digimon (or a very nostalgic one aka Agumon or Veemon). Otherwise, Blucomon feels like it might have the best chances as the rivals Digimon -the other 3 maybe have a chance with TK/Kari-like characters-. Them appearing in the same season as partners however feels almost impossible due to this. I wasn't really expecting Hudiemon, honestly, I thought the premise of the video was more like "as primary/permanent stage of a partner Digimon", for which I find Hudiemon absolutely unfitting, but I'd be absolutely all in if it was the evolution of another partner, especially if it's Morphomon. Although, rethinking the previous angle, I could actually see that work in an Alice/Dobermon kinda way, where Hudiemon itself is the partner of a sidecharacter that only appears towards the end of the plot as more of a plot-device than a member of the main crew, in that case I could even see Hudiemon deliberately referencing Hackers Memory, in a way similar to how Ryo and Cyberdramon (also from Tamers, kinda ironic that Hudiemomn could work as a combination of 2 Tamers-characters/pairs) reference the Wonderswan-games of course. I could see those 2 New Century mons (can't misspell their names if you don't even spell them!) really work well as partners honestly, of a myriad of different kinds main-tamers, the Sora-archetype, the Matt-archetype... or even just a side-character. Looking at Bemmons recent entry to the Digimon Reference Book, I can't help but to see it as a partner to a potential antagonist, like Arkadimon was to Neo... it'd pretty much be exactly the same... Or another idea I just head, if they ever get around to making a 02-reboot to follow up the Adventure-reboot, I could see Bemmon replace Kimeramon (since Kimeramon obviously was already relevant before in the reboot-timeline, I don't think it'd work in the same role as in the original 02 anymore) as the Digimon Kaisers self-created partner, although that'd mean it'd obviously only be a temporary partner, even if it might stick around and give a power-up to Wormmon and/or Ken kinda like another case in Adventure 2020... Personally, I feel the distinction between Digital Lifeforms and Digimon is still an important one, even if we have cases like Calumon that blur the line a bit at times, but... that distinction has to exist for some reason, right? In that sense, I feel the Litium are more like the Eaters and something fundamentally non-Digimon... although at the same time, I could see a storyline about one of them perhaps evolving into a more regular Digimon, kinda like Herissmon maybe? But in that case, I feel it'd still evolve in a way completely unlike the Vitium we know, and having it be evil would feel somewhat unfitting as well, again, considering Herissmons storyline. Oh god, I HOPE Aegiomon (and Syrenmon) appear in the next story-game. You'd think they do, because they're so linked to the Olympus Twelve, but at the same time, even with the game allegedly being focused on the Olympus Twelve, I could see them going with a concept similar to the Royal Knights in Cyber Sleuth where, except for Hackmon, they were all already in their full form, and while you could maybe points towards the Dorumon-line with Alphamon, at the same time, Dorumon and Alphamon are a lot more popular than Aegiomon and the Olympus Twelve, so that might not mean anything for Aegiomons chances to be in the game... but god I hope it is. At the very least, I think it'd be DLC like the Sistermon, but ideally, just be in the game. As for Aegiomons chances as a partner or human-turned-Digimon in the anime... I don't think it's likely, but I wouldn't deny that it'd be interesting, although as a partner, I think its best chance is probably as a story-relevant sidecharacter-partner, kinda like Omegamon in Cyber Sleuth. With how intrinsic I remember Volcanicdramon and Metallicdramon being to the Digital World, it's hard for me to imagine them or their rookies as primary partners in any kind of media, even if I think their role could be really cute, kinda like Gammamon in Ghost Game, a(n) (pair of) infant Digimon that'd just learn about the world... thinking about it, maybe my opinion on how much I could see this might change by the end of Ghost Game. Nothing to say about Herissmon, just perfect partner-Material for a series of different potential tamer-characters. And finally, god yes, especially Monmon and Kotemon feel like they need partners so much, even if they're only side characters, ideally more side-ish main characters -like half of the kids in Adventure, yeah I said it, come at me!- . I can't believe I only realized that now that these were LITERALLY MADE (probably) to be partners! As for personal picks... -does Spadamon count?- I'd... kinda like to see someone in an anime who uses Machinedramon as a partner. It did debut in Digimon World, so it is technically a game-Digimon. I know I'm usually the guy to complain about "Digimon that were relevant in Adventure getting too much of a spotlight", but I just feel like Machinedramon has potential to be quite an interesting partner, outside of just "dark evolution" or as a villain. Pretty sure DW Next Order planted that idea into me, since from what I recall there is that storyline with the protagonist from the first World-game carrying around an egg that is implied to be Machinedramons, I'd just like it to go through a Monodramon/Cyberdramon-like redemption-arc, maybe it could even be that pair appearing kinda like, again, Ryo did in Tamers, and what we'd see would be the result of Machinedramon getting raised properly. Would be the ultimate fanservice... and I didn't even play the original Digimon World. I guess I'm also just in general a sucker for those redemption kinda stories.

I have to admit when I first saw the title of this video, my mind immediately went to digimon being partnered to anime characters from other anime. For example Gatsumon partnered with Brock from Pokémon, Bakemon with Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh, Elecmon with Kaminari from My Hero Academia, etc...
I always forget how Hudiemon is an Adult/Champion stage and not anything higher. Having played Hacker's Memory I thought it was a special warp Digivolution like Kudamon>Mitamamon. But no! It's more like Fairimon/Kazemon! And the fact that means Hudiemon could evolve further is something that I wish I could really see become a reality at some point. Its data is in the Digiverse/Multiverse now (which hey, multiple realities is kind of a plot point in Cyber Slueth) so I have no complaints about other incarnations.
I want ALL of these to exist in anime. How many stories did I create with the Digimon from World 3 as main protagonists? How much did I want to see BEMmon in the anime, eitherr as a partner or antagonist? Coronamon and Lunamon becoming GraceNovamon against the final villain in an epic battle? I want all these suggestions so bad. If I may suggest a video topic, what about "top 10 Digimon that would be great as partners for the main character in a video game". Like, we often have Agumon (or Gabumon) like in Digimon World, Re Digitize, Story, Lost Evolution, Survive, but what about other Digimon? Imagine a Goblimon as the main partner? Or a DemiDevimon, following Dracmon? With the digivolution possibilities, that would be cool

Y’know with you mentioning you wanting to make a video on giving custom evolutions for Bearmon Monmon and others it gives me the idea of “what if we reverse engineer evolution lines for the Royal Knights.” I feel like it could be an interesting and a simple idea we take all the Royal Knights without evolution line: Craniamon, Duftmon, Dynasmon, Rhodoknightmon, Sleipmon* (Yes I’m counting him because he doesn’t fit with Kudamon’s line and Mitamamon fits so much better), Examon and Gankoomon. I feel like it could be similar to what Jesmon does it: What are the major designs elements of Jesmon: - White - Spiky -Swords - Red Cape All these designs are present within Hackmon and it adds a bit with each stage up to Jesmon with no out of place details or elements. I don’t know how big of an undertaking a video like this would be but it’s something I’ve wanted to see for a while.
Penmon / Penguinmon debuted in Digimon World and he only really gets cards (where he curls in DW1 too) but he barely gets in anything else and deserves an anime partner! I swear Muchomon is in more stuff! GreyKnightsmon from the Xros Wars game would be great but I'm not sure if it counts because Greymon and DarkKnightmon had partners in the anime but there were game exclusive Xros'. The only other game Digimon I can think of is Fuhrur Agumon and uhhh we dont speak about that Agumon... but YukiAgumon would make a good partner (give us a full snow Greymon line!)
I really wish, that Coronamon gets more attention soon! It didn't really get any love since Digimon World Dawn and Dusk, which is really sad, considering, that it's counterpart does get a lot more. My Top Digimon that would deserve an Anime Partner is Dorumon. Of course, he already was partnered with two Goggle-Heads in the Manga, but beside the CGI-Movie he never got to show up in an actual Anime. Which is a shame. I mean yeah, Alphamon showed up but that was about it. Dorumon is kinda on pair with Meicoomon and Herrismon regarding Lore so an Anime focusing on the X-Antibody maybe would be a great opportunity!
It would be awesome to see more of those digimon. You should totally make the Digimon world 3 evo line. I like some but other are less palatable. If you do that though I think you should make a jogress or dedicated line for Cardmon. Probably make Cardmon an in-trainin the digivice through things like deckmon, shufflemon, dealmon, trick-cardmon tarotmon, and make a Mega be Trumpcardmon. Honestly it might be smartest to go Cardmon -> Deckmon -> Minor Tarotmon -> Major Tarotmon -> Trumpcardmon.
Even now I believe that a Gazimon+Gazimon-X dual partner would be cool, like 1 tamer with the two of them. Have the normal gazimon be like scrappy doo, overly open to fighting and unafraid while the bigger, bulkier Gazimon-X could be like Scooby-Doo, a more timid one that would rather not fight. Maybe even have different evos that fit together, like terriermon and lopmon or whatever.
Well, I'd like to see Bearmon having a partner.. but not like how Tri depicted it.. I feel like the digivolution line which was given is a bit incoherent (Bearmon>Gryzmon>LoaderLiomon>Baihumon).. a bear that transforms into a tiger is just meh... I wish they give him new ultimate and mega form

I would absolutely love if Coronamon and Lunamon got anime partners. Especially Coronamon, they've been doing my boy way to dirty. On the other hand, I think another good choice for the list would be Ludomon and Zubamon. Being opposites of one another, they just seem perfect wether they have their own partner or share one(Not to mention Zubamon represents the 20th anniversary of digimon, so I feel like it just makes sense). Plus it would be cool as heck to see their partners using the sword and shield forms of the two and their evolutions. Finally, Durandamon and BryweLudramon have a jogress in the form of RagnaLoardmon, which in all honesty, feels like the partner(s) would have merged into the jogress to form RagnaLoardmon's main body. Anyways, thats my take anyway

I've been thinking about writing a Digimon fanfiction with the cast being based on characters from other anime. I planned to partner Herissmon with a character based on Simon from Gurren Lagann. I thought the idea sounded really cool.
I played the heck out of Dawn/Dusk so Lunamon and Coronamon's lines have a lot of nostalgic attachment for me. We keep seeing Lunamon and evos in games and such but no Coronamon. My hopes aren't high for that getting rectified given the latter's unfortunate name though 😥

I would LOVE a Keramon as a major plot-relevant partner Digimon: He'd still be naively destructive and would cause mischief, but kept happy by constantly feeding him flash drives of data to munch on, and eventually learns to do the right thing and control it's instincts (Could maybe tie into how in the Digimon Chronicle X storyline, Jesmon takes a Kuramon egg to raise as a royal knight). There's some AMAZING art by sashakatcher that shows Angela Andaconda drawn like a Digimon character with a Keramon partner which is adorable). Ofc, Arata from Cyber Sleuth has a Keramon, but it never really had a role in the story as it's own character... beyond that, I would have said OG Falgomon and Syakomon, but Survive did those! I really do wish Survive gave Shellmon it's own Perfect/Ultimate stage that makes sense, though, like a a big Sea Anemone or maybe a Nautilus with gooey tentacles. Also, a more fitting perfect stage to bridge Diatrymon to Valdurmon or Ornismon beyond Yatagaramon
Keramon deserves it. Honestly it was kinda a missed oppurtunity in Cybersleuth. His infermon leaves when he becomes part eater. Maybe it could have helped us, or sought us out to help him.
I’d love to see more of hudiemon just to get a full line which would feel a lot different from the other insect Digimon. And bearmon kotemon and monmon 100% deserve more. For me I’d love to see more of mitatamamon. I never really liked sliepmon for kudamon but mitatamamon is SOOO perfect

A "Digimon World" based anime would be cool. Throw the World 3 trio and maybe some other Digimon World series Digimon for the partners. Then have them have to explore the Digital World to save it and get back to their own, eventually getting the DigiBeetle to get around more efficiently.

My number one pick is DORUmon for a main protagonist. Not only is it adorable, but with all the focus the series has had with Omegamon, there's so much to be explored with the empty seat of the Royal Knights. Why it was empty, whether the knights stand for good, whether the protag and their partner can unite them under one goal, etc.
Perfect opportunity for a rival to have Ryudamon, as well.
In recent appearances Alphamon has made since his debut, we've been robbed of his rookie form. DORUmon has been slept on outside of some manga, yet has all the qualities necessary to be a perfect companion to a gogglehead.
I definitely want to see a custom evolutions for the world trio.
Honestly, OUT OF all of the digimon you mentioned, I want Aegiomon, Lunamon and Coronamon to become partner digimon in a new season. For a few reasons actually. For one, we'd finally have digimon tied to the Olympos XII in protagonist roles instead of side and/or antagonist roles like in Data Squad (Merukimon), Xros Wars (Neptunemon, Lunamon, Coronamon, Mervamon, Marsmon and Apollomon) and Ghost Game (Sirenmon. Yes, I'm counting her). And secondly, the Olympos XII would finally get the exposure they desperatelly need, especially the ones that haven't appeared in anime or video games, like Ceresmon and Jupitermon. Honestly though, I just want Plutomon to be a main antagonist in a digimon season as well

@@mudawott If Plutomon were to become an ally/good guy, I'd go with this: Like their real world inspirations, Jupitermon, Neptunemon and Plutomon are brothers, but Plutomon's views on peace cause the other Olympian digimon to cast him out. But later, the protagonist needs Plutomon's help which leads to him and the other Olympian digimon reconciling.
That's my idea on how it would go.

I think completing Bearmon's evolution line with new designs is a good idea, but I think Kotemon has plenty of options within existing Digimon. Koemon/Monmon also has a good couple choices for evolution but he definitely needs his own Mega.
Bearmon honestly only really needs a Champion imo. For Kotemon and Monmon I'd like to lean more into their attributes and appearance. Hanumon and Gokuwmon are quite good for Monmon though.

If I was going with video game original digimon who need partners, I'd definitely go with Monmon and Kotemon, but Coronamon and Lunamon I definitely want to see as partners, too since I have some nostalgia for Digimon World 3 and Digimon World Dawn and Dusk. Before even watching, I'm just throwing my bit in, I would love a candlemon partner, particularly with the wizardmon, mistymon, and Dynasmon line. (though I'd also love even more if they found a knight that focuses more on the fire and magic theme for the mega evolution) if you've seen a few of my other comments when it comes to digimon partners, yes, Candlemon is exactly who i'd want as a partner

I think there should be anime with no humans partners at the start that just circles around Aegiomon and the Olympus XII and then later human explorerers can get transported into the digital world and try to survive and Aegiomon will be a scout and form as a human partner before realizing the humans shouldn't be eliminated by the Olympus XII or something. I’d very much love to see these Digimon as anime partners one day. Bemmon particularly, due to it’s nature as an articifically created Digimon, I could see as being similar to 02 BlackWarGreymon, starting as an enemy, and then being freed from the control of the antagonist and becoming an ally.
Agreed with wanting Snatchmon to get a different ultimate and mega, and absolutely looking forward to a video were the World 3 digimon get full lines. Bearmon not having a dedicated ultimate and mega is a crime.
I think Markus from Savers/Data squad should have gotten Bearmon instead of a variant of Agumon imo.

I think Kodokugumon deserves to be a partner digimon, as like a Tentomon counterpart for an Izzy counterpart. If I had a digimon, it would be Kodokugumon -> Dokugumon. Although I'm not in love with Arukenimon as an ultimate stage, and while Gyukimon is better, I'd prefer it stay an insect type.
It may not be a video game Digimon, but Dracomon should be a proper partner - and no, I'm not counting Xros Wars.
An old idea I had would have seen a Dracomon as a googlehead's partner, and later on an antagonist Tamer would appear with their own. They'd get the Blue and Green Coredramon respectively, and eventually the second Tamer would have a face turn and they'd become DNA digivolve partners to get Examon.

Sepikmon is way to similar in concept to Monmon (ranged tribal monkey) to skip that, altough that's an armor. But I've thinking about an ultimate that leads it into a mayan monkey archer with high mobility, shooting with hands and feet mid acrobatic jump . The mega could be inspired by the scene where king kong shoots trees as javelins into airplanes, carrying over the mayan aesthetics
About kotemon, Samudramon is perfect for it, being both of them purple dragons with traditional japanese armor and swordfighting style. So it would require a champ and ultimate to fill in between, probably being the ultimate a more monstruous form, like a big dino with blades replacing parts of it's body. Niumber 1 should be Dorumon and Ryudamon. Neither had a human partner and both are video game Digimon. Dorumon was in X-Evolution, but there was no tamers in the movie. So all we have is video games for the 2.

I'm actually working on a Dusk/Dawn rom hack including some fan favorite digimon like Blucomon and Vorvomon, I'm doing species specific quests to make grinding for Species EXP easier and I've made my own unique digimon including an Ultimate and Mega for Hudiemon and an official Rookie for Tyrannomon, and a Rabbit themed mega for Antylamon among other goodies including playable Sovereigns, all Demon Lords playable and all the Olympus 12 Playable. However it takes a long time to make a Rom Hack, it won't be available to play until late 2023 at the earliest. Would you like to be one of the first to play it?
I want a season with naive good boy who partners up with a mischievious and malicious Black Agumon and tries to teach him to be a good boy. Antagonists would be "good guys" or moreso "angels" who try to capture Black Agumon or something, because he is malicious. And Black Agumon had a past vendetta against them but has memory loss, so he just hates them instinctively. Like Agumon would be more animal like and acts like dinosaur rather than usual behaviour. Kinda like in first movie.
And I really want his line to end up with Omegamon Alter-B. I really love the edgy design of Alter-B.
Or maybe a sequel to Digimon Adventure 2020, where Agumon and others end up with X-Antibody, call children back because Digital World is in total chaos and they have to fight against Royal Knights and all. DORUmon and Ryudamon should appear too. Imagine Taichi losing it and Gaioumon getting a proper appearance, not like what we got in Xros Wars, where an X-Antibody Ultimate couldn't beat a mid-tier Perfect.
I mean, for what it's worth, Pokemon itself has never really been too hung up on releasing Pokemon in their "Generation" batch either, even though most of them do get dropped that way, we also consistently have cases of Pokemon like Ho-Oh, Togepi, Donphan, Marill, Munchlax or Lucario, or the alternate forms of Zygarde, appearing in content (primarily the anime, but also spin-off games) way before the games they eventually appeared in even got properly announced as well, we've had them announce new Pokemon mid-Generation as well more recently, with the additional Ultra Beasts added in Ultra Sun and Moon, or the DLC for Sword and Shield, and we had Meltan that officially doesn't belong to a Generation and was introduced in Pokemon Go.
I think the point where the main difference comes in there is primarily due to Digimon not really focusing on any one medium, I'd say, although I'm pretty sure we also generally get a lot of new Digimon in batches with new VPet releases, which might be comparable to Pokemon, where Pokemon still seems to want to primarily focus around the games, even if their main source of income definitely is merchandising, and the anime is probably generally better known.
As for the ACTUAL topic of this video...
Cardmon definitely seems like it could be an interesting partner for a side-character, similar maybe to one of the less important hunters in Xros Wars Hunters, or of course the international Chosen Children in 02. As for the Story-mons and Blucomon, -first up I'm pretty sure Coronamon also had an appearence in Xros Wars, although it was only as a side-character for like a scene or two, as Spadamons friend, iirc- the Story-mons in particular feel like they could've or should've been the partners of main-characters around their time, of the season after Savers... which ended up being Xros Wars, which did a lot of weird, controversial things, so maybe for the best that they didn't have a major role there (except for Apollomon as one of the Death Generals of course, the only one that wasn't a completely new Digimon), although I will say that, thinking about it, Lunamon as a partner for Nene perhaps, and Coronamon as a member of Blue Flare, while perhaps not replacing their main Digimon, sounds like it would've been a cool idea, especially since that would've kinda mirrored with Spadamon being a member of Xros Heart aaaaand I forgot that Spadamon isn't technically in a group with those other 2... pain. Or perhaps, alternatively, as partners for the "antagonist"-trio in Hunters, instead of Opposumon and Dracmon, perhaps. As for Hyokomon... honestly, I thought Lost Evolution was before Dusk and Dawn, but appearently no, otherwise I would've said it could've replaced the 2006 redesign of Falcomon, but it actually came out 2010, the time of Xros Wars, so... -better partner for Yu than Damemon, just sayin'- . Blucomon... kinda had unfortunate timing, I feel, pretty sure the seasons that followed it were Appmon and Adventure 2020, where of course it couldn't really appear as a partner. I could see it getting a cameo in Ghost Game, but as a partner there also feels somewhat unlikely, even for a 6th ranger kinda character. But all of them feel like they'd be really cool... although at the same time, all of them have that "main character"-feel due to, of course, at least the Story-Digimon, all being either the main characters most notable partner or a central character in their respective game, which kinda makes it feel unrealistic for either of them to appear as partners, since they'd probably want to give someone of that importance a new Digimon (or a very nostalgic one aka Agumon or Veemon). Otherwise, Blucomon feels like it might have the best chances as the rivals Digimon -the other 3 maybe have a chance with TK/Kari-like characters-. Them appearing in the same season as partners however feels almost impossible due to this.
I wasn't really expecting Hudiemon, honestly, I thought the premise of the video was more like "as primary/permanent stage of a partner Digimon", for which I find Hudiemon absolutely unfitting, but I'd be absolutely all in if it was the evolution of another partner, especially if it's Morphomon. Although, rethinking the previous angle, I could actually see that work in an Alice/Dobermon kinda way, where Hudiemon itself is the partner of a sidecharacter that only appears towards the end of the plot as more of a plot-device than a member of the main crew, in that case I could even see Hudiemon deliberately referencing Hackers Memory, in a way similar to how Ryo and Cyberdramon (also from Tamers, kinda ironic that Hudiemomn could work as a combination of 2 Tamers-characters/pairs) reference the Wonderswan-games of course.
I could see those 2 New Century mons (can't misspell their names if you don't even spell them!) really work well as partners honestly, of a myriad of different kinds main-tamers, the Sora-archetype, the Matt-archetype... or even just a side-character.
Looking at Bemmons recent entry to the Digimon Reference Book, I can't help but to see it as a partner to a potential antagonist, like Arkadimon was to Neo... it'd pretty much be exactly the same... Or another idea I just head, if they ever get around to making a 02-reboot to follow up the Adventure-reboot, I could see Bemmon replace Kimeramon (since Kimeramon obviously was already relevant before in the reboot-timeline, I don't think it'd work in the same role as in the original 02 anymore) as the Digimon Kaisers self-created partner, although that'd mean it'd obviously only be a temporary partner, even if it might stick around and give a power-up to Wormmon and/or Ken kinda like another case in Adventure 2020...
Personally, I feel the distinction between Digital Lifeforms and Digimon is still an important one, even if we have cases like Calumon that blur the line a bit at times, but... that distinction has to exist for some reason, right? In that sense, I feel the Litium are more like the Eaters and something fundamentally non-Digimon... although at the same time, I could see a storyline about one of them perhaps evolving into a more regular Digimon, kinda like Herissmon maybe? But in that case, I feel it'd still evolve in a way completely unlike the Vitium we know, and having it be evil would feel somewhat unfitting as well, again, considering Herissmons storyline.
Oh god, I HOPE Aegiomon (and Syrenmon) appear in the next story-game. You'd think they do, because they're so linked to the Olympus Twelve, but at the same time, even with the game allegedly being focused on the Olympus Twelve, I could see them going with a concept similar to the Royal Knights in Cyber Sleuth where, except for Hackmon, they were all already in their full form, and while you could maybe points towards the Dorumon-line with Alphamon, at the same time, Dorumon and Alphamon are a lot more popular than Aegiomon and the Olympus Twelve, so that might not mean anything for Aegiomons chances to be in the game... but god I hope it is. At the very least, I think it'd be DLC like the Sistermon, but ideally, just be in the game. As for Aegiomons chances as a partner or human-turned-Digimon in the anime... I don't think it's likely, but I wouldn't deny that it'd be interesting, although as a partner, I think its best chance is probably as a story-relevant sidecharacter-partner, kinda like Omegamon in Cyber Sleuth.
With how intrinsic I remember Volcanicdramon and Metallicdramon being to the Digital World, it's hard for me to imagine them or their rookies as primary partners in any kind of media, even if I think their role could be really cute, kinda like Gammamon in Ghost Game, a(n) (pair of) infant Digimon that'd just learn about the world... thinking about it, maybe my opinion on how much I could see this might change by the end of Ghost Game.
Nothing to say about Herissmon, just perfect partner-Material for a series of different potential tamer-characters.
And finally, god yes, especially Monmon and Kotemon feel like they need partners so much, even if they're only side characters, ideally more side-ish main characters -like half of the kids in Adventure, yeah I said it, come at me!- . I can't believe I only realized that now that these were LITERALLY MADE (probably) to be partners!
As for personal picks... -does Spadamon count?- I'd... kinda like to see someone in an anime who uses Machinedramon as a partner. It did debut in Digimon World, so it is technically a game-Digimon. I know I'm usually the guy to complain about "Digimon that were relevant in Adventure getting too much of a spotlight", but I just feel like Machinedramon has potential to be quite an interesting partner, outside of just "dark evolution" or as a villain. Pretty sure DW Next Order planted that idea into me, since from what I recall there is that storyline with the protagonist from the first World-game carrying around an egg that is implied to be Machinedramons, I'd just like it to go through a Monodramon/Cyberdramon-like redemption-arc, maybe it could even be that pair appearing kinda like, again, Ryo did in Tamers, and what we'd see would be the result of Machinedramon getting raised properly. Would be the ultimate fanservice... and I didn't even play the original Digimon World. I guess I'm also just in general a sucker for those redemption kinda stories.

I have to admit when I first saw the title of this video, my mind immediately went to digimon being partnered to anime characters from other anime.
For example Gatsumon partnered with Brock from Pokémon, Bakemon with Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh, Elecmon with Kaminari from My Hero Academia, etc...
I always forget how Hudiemon is an Adult/Champion stage and not anything higher. Having played Hacker's Memory I thought it was a special warp Digivolution like Kudamon>Mitamamon. But no! It's more like Fairimon/Kazemon! And the fact that means Hudiemon could evolve further is something that I wish I could really see become a reality at some point. Its data is in the Digiverse/Multiverse now (which hey, multiple realities is kind of a plot point in Cyber Slueth) so I have no complaints about other incarnations.
I want ALL of these to exist in anime. How many stories did I create with the Digimon from World 3 as main protagonists? How much did I want to see BEMmon in the anime, eitherr as a partner or antagonist? Coronamon and Lunamon becoming GraceNovamon against the final villain in an epic battle? I want all these suggestions so bad.
If I may suggest a video topic, what about "top 10 Digimon that would be great as partners for the main character in a video game". Like, we often have Agumon (or Gabumon) like in Digimon World, Re Digitize, Story, Lost Evolution, Survive, but what about other Digimon? Imagine a Goblimon as the main partner? Or a DemiDevimon, following Dracmon? With the digivolution possibilities, that would be cool

Y’know with you mentioning you wanting to make a video on giving custom evolutions for Bearmon Monmon and others it gives me the idea of “what if we reverse engineer evolution lines for the Royal Knights.” I feel like it could be an interesting and a simple idea we take all the Royal Knights without evolution line: Craniamon, Duftmon, Dynasmon, Rhodoknightmon, Sleipmon* (Yes I’m counting him because he doesn’t fit with Kudamon’s line and Mitamamon fits so much better), Examon and Gankoomon. I feel like it could be similar to what Jesmon does it:
What are the major designs elements of Jesmon:
- White
- Spiky
-Swords
- Red Cape
All these designs are present within Hackmon and it adds a bit with each stage up to Jesmon with no out of place details or elements. I don’t know how big of an undertaking a video like this would be but it’s something I’ve wanted to see for a while.
Penmon / Penguinmon debuted in Digimon World and he only really gets cards (where he curls in DW1 too) but he barely gets in anything else and deserves an anime partner! I swear Muchomon is in more stuff!
GreyKnightsmon from the Xros Wars game would be great but I'm not sure if it counts because Greymon and DarkKnightmon had partners in the anime but there were game exclusive Xros'.
The only other game Digimon I can think of is Fuhrur Agumon and uhhh we dont speak about that Agumon... but YukiAgumon would make a good partner (give us a full snow Greymon line!)
I really wish, that Coronamon gets more attention soon! It didn't really get any love since Digimon World Dawn and Dusk, which is really sad, considering, that it's counterpart does get a lot more.
My Top Digimon that would deserve an Anime Partner is Dorumon. Of course, he already was partnered with two Goggle-Heads in the Manga, but beside the CGI-Movie he never got to show up in an actual Anime. Which is a shame. I mean yeah, Alphamon showed up but that was about it. Dorumon is kinda on pair with Meicoomon and Herrismon regarding Lore so an Anime focusing on the X-Antibody maybe would be a great opportunity!
It would be awesome to see more of those digimon. You should totally make the Digimon world 3 evo line. I like some but other are less palatable. If you do that though I think you should make a jogress or dedicated line for Cardmon. Probably make Cardmon an in-trainin the digivice through things like deckmon, shufflemon, dealmon, trick-cardmon tarotmon, and make a Mega be Trumpcardmon. Honestly it might be smartest to go Cardmon -> Deckmon -> Minor Tarotmon -> Major Tarotmon -> Trumpcardmon.
Even now I believe that a Gazimon+Gazimon-X dual partner would be cool, like 1 tamer with the two of them. Have the normal gazimon be like scrappy doo, overly open to fighting and unafraid while the bigger, bulkier Gazimon-X could be like Scooby-Doo, a more timid one that would rather not fight. Maybe even have different evos that fit together, like terriermon and lopmon or whatever.
Well, I'd like to see Bearmon having a partner.. but not like how Tri depicted it.. I feel like the digivolution line which was given is a bit incoherent (Bearmon>Gryzmon>LoaderLiomon>Baihumon).. a bear that transforms into a tiger is just meh... I wish they give him new ultimate and mega form

I would absolutely love if Coronamon and Lunamon got anime partners. Especially Coronamon, they've been doing my boy way to dirty.
On the other hand, I think another good choice for the list would be Ludomon and Zubamon. Being opposites of one another, they just seem perfect wether they have their own partner or share one(Not to mention Zubamon represents the 20th anniversary of digimon, so I feel like it just makes sense). Plus it would be cool as heck to see their partners using the sword and shield forms of the two and their evolutions. Finally, Durandamon and BryweLudramon have a jogress in the form of RagnaLoardmon, which in all honesty, feels like the partner(s) would have merged into the jogress to form RagnaLoardmon's main body.
Anyways, thats my take anyway
