Ironic isn't it that Callum is more appalled and disgusted by Ben cheating than Ben beating up victims and nearly killing them. He has great values my Callum....
I think he understands why Ben did the beatings but not why he cheated on him.

I was making a--specific--mention of all of the online-detractors to the character of "Ben" ( that have been so randomly appearing like a pernicious "rash"), that there might have been concerns that "the powers-that-be" could feel "influenced" by such posted irrationality, and decide--quite naively--to give, Max Bowden, the actor, a hiatus toward appeasing those bitter-commenters who seem "unable" to differentiate, let alone appreciate the engaging complexity of such a nuanced character like "Ben".

Ben.’s current storyline is sad, no doubting, but Callum can do one. The guy couldn’t act his way out of an Aldi bag. His character went from dopey road-boy to loving gay husband in 5 minutes and it just didn’t (and still doesn’t) make sense. Not my idea of entertainment. Let him go.
