- In today’s episode we sit with Billy and Cesar of Team Boosted Racing. Team boosted is known to have the worlds fastest cars in the street and at the track proving themselves after running the worlds fastest lambos and making a statement. Over the past few years they have battled it out with Underground Racing Lambos and came out on top winning the roll racing event at Texas 2K in their 3500 whp GTR. We unpack their come up and what it takes to be at the top of the game in roll racing.

It's crazy how GTR's are pretty much the ultimate all-around straight line race cars.
These cars aren't even all cut up like other cars making similar power.
Most roll racing cars on this level are still full interior if that’s what your referring to
@@GabethemosthatedThey have to be its part of the rules for the competition. UGR got the GTRs banned from competition back when the GTRs were shooting for the first 6 second 1/4 because they would enter roll racing to but obviously had fake headlights full gutted plastic windows ect... Because they weren't just built for roll racing like UGR. So for a couple years UGR raced themselves because the only GTRs out their that made the power to play were all dedicated race cars and were just more interested in drag racing. And thats where this man Billy's GTRs was created first dedicated roll race GTR built to spec so no one bitches
Well yes that’s part of rules but they do have options to strip it out but they leave a lot of stuff in they don’t have too like all the seats and carpet a/c radios and even when they take it all out to throw in a harness they still put it back. It’s cause they are hand built and don’t share a chassis with other cars so it makes them infinitely easier to take apart and put back together over and over. People don’t realize when a car is put together by robots it’s got tolerances that humans can’t work with easily on a production line. If u notice the same thing happens with Porsches, lamb is and r8. They don’t need to be chopped up cause they have room to work since they need room to put together.

Quickest = fastest E/T to the 1/4
Roll racing is its own class, the mph doesn’t equate to fastest or quickest because they are going from a rolling start.

You will only see that at TX2k since that is the only competition UGR goes to. If you watch TX2k 21, 22 and 2023 you can see Billy's GTR playing with the lambos
1320 video and That racing channel have the videos each year of the competition so check their pages

Fastest is still held by Extreme Turbo Systems GTR when it went 255mph all those years back in the half mile. But yes if they stretched Billy's GTRs legs it would obliterate that record they just haven't done it yet

Look at it the same way they do in Track & Field. Fastest is about final time (Usain Bolt is the fastest man in history 9.58 over 100m) but know to be a bad starter, nobody says he’s “quick”. Quickest is about acceleration (Christian Coleman has a crazy reaction time and acceleration zone, known to be the quickest but not THE fastest)

Unfortunately the young generations that are out there street racing now don't have any honor or love for drag racing or roll racing they have so many crazy rules and they are doing it to make a quick dollar not because they love the sport that is why you see so many that lose don't pay and try to make a excuse to so they don't have to pay my generation didn't do anything like they do i honestly think the young ones are the ones that have killed the car scene and I don't even wanna talk about the ones that take over a intersection and slide their cars and most of them can't drive and it is so many people and if you have hit another car don't matter how hard it was even if you didn't do any damages to the car if your car touches another car don't matter how good your insurance is to get the car fixed the people who are watching are going to destroy your car and it is so many people that you are not going to stop them

Its designed for the quarter mile so different tuning id assume that if they were to do a roll race (both being tuned for roll racing ) cesars car would win. But that would be one hell of a race
