Airbnb has lost the plot !
It’s single-handedly fueled growth in what it originally tried to cannibalize ie hotels

Sadly you learn a lot about people when they think no one can track them too

4:13 I think that tells you the employees know that their stock options aren't going to be worth what they hope they will be if their star leader ship goes to another company

How about the crisis of the people who can't afford houses in cities where rich people own multiple short-rentals listed on Airbnb?

@@menachempike4489 ha! I like using Airbnb. I've used them and will still use them. But now I don't use them in major cities where local people are competing with short-term rental owners to raise their families. I think hotels that are regulated by local policies are far better than those Airbnb's that charge an obscene cleaning fee without any guarantees that they actually cleaned. Hotels, on the other hand, need to get certification and have policies to adhere by.
I think the short-term rental market makes sense but not without some sort of regulations. Local communities are fighting back though and I like that.
