O que mais me impressiona na Rebeca é justamente isso, a técnica, pois ela pode não ter tanto "power" ou potência como a Simone Biles, a Jade Carey ou a Mckayla Maroney, mas ela no ar é simplesmente IMPECÁVEL, em qualquer salto que for. I like Simone’s, Rebeca’s, Jade’s, then MyKayla’s in that order. But to be honest, I love Rebeca’s technique best on that Cheng OMG 😱 While I love Simone’s technique best on the Amanar 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 These are some vaulting women 💯 It was heartbreaking Simone had to drop out but I was just as sad for Jade in vault finals. She did redeem herself on floor which warmed my heart tremendously ❤️ Such an exciting games overall because anything could happen and it was more anticipation and excitement for me!
Simone usually scores more on her Cheng because her landings are better than Rebeca's and they're always very far from the table, which is appreciated by the jury. But it's awesome to see Rebeca floating after the table.

Aesthetically I'd agree but in competiton I'd say 7/10 Simone would outscore Rebeca. When she gets a good block the height difference isn't that big, but simone gets way more distance and has less landing deductions.
Oh my, poor MyKayla. Her Cheng just suffers in comparison to Rebeca. There’s just very little block/height. However her Amanar is not as bad. I’d say that from this video Simone’s distance is just insane. But I’m just happy that Rebeca is so good, Cheng after Cheng has been difficult to watch in WAG except for Simone.
I was honestly shocked that there was only 0.1 difference in score between Rebeca (15.3) and Jade’s (15.2) cheng in the AA final. I know Rebeca landed one foot out of bounds and got a 0.1 penalty, but other than that it was one of the best she’s ever done. Jade was not square on the table, had some leg form issues, and a hop on the landing and got an E score only 0.2 less than Rebeca. Not to bash on Jade or anything, but I honestly believe there should have been more separation between the two.
I also don't really get the exeuctions given in vault finals for them. MyKayla had the cleanest landing in the Amanar out of the 3 and gets a 9.0, Rebecca had 3 hops on hers and has a 9.2 (questionable but I guess still justifiable because of her impeccable takeoff and form in the air), Jade has a huge leg separation + form deductions in her twisting + a huge step and gets a 9.1? Personally I think MyKayla was underscored in her second vault
@@mht4908 I think MyKayla gets the bulk of her deductions from amplitude. For how low she flies compared to other vaulters, she manages to have pretty good form and can make it all the way around from twisting really fast. The Amanar is quite good in this regard, but her Cheng really takes a hit from her near one armed block habit
@@jacksonxu9901 The deductions in the Cheng were fair, I just have a hard time finding a full point of deductions from this Amanar. 0.3 in leg separation during the roundoff, 0.1 for shoulder angle, 0.2 (2 steps to the side of I’m being strict), 0.1 for slight feet crossing before landing, and 0.1 for leg separation during landing (which some of the judges may not see in their angle of judging). That gives a 9.2 from what I can pick up, maybe 9.1 or 9.3 give or take. I counted a full point for Rebecca and Jade (maybe 1.3 depending on whether the judges considered her putting her feet together after the lunge forward a second step)
Jade vaults are floppy. Her Cheng is ugly. It looks like she is spinning out of control. Mikayla....well...she doesn't even use both arms correctly on the table. The details that this angle, for comparison won't show.
In the cheng, Rebeca gets her half turn on completely around, whereas the other girls do almost just a quarter turn. I believe that might be one of the factors that enables her “soaring” through the air before she starts twisting.

I 100% agree with you! I just think Simone Biles is the best vaulter of all time, but I prefer Rebeca Andrade's technique on the Cheng too.

Simone has 1/2 turn. There’s only a few who have that perfect cheng block and it’s Rebeca, Simone, Vanessa Zamarippa, and maybe Ellie Downie
