While everyone is worried about our pandemic and politics and trump, Connor is worried about his sprinkler and I must say it’s very relaxing to watch videos like these. Keep it up my guy👌🏻
@@Steve-qy9db YO Stevie.... I edit my own vids. I had two clips. One with the pipe cutter and one with the channel locks..... I CHOSE to insert both clips. This was a choice I made knowing the ramifications and blow back I'd get from you in the comments section. I got you. You fell for my trap. Now can you see why I chose to leave it in?
The thing about making UA-cam videos is. You gotta have a good time doing it. In a way it’s really just for yourself so you can look back and laugh. Great vid 👍🏽
Great tip on that fitting! I need to get about 6 of those fittings for my flowerbeds. I use a blowtorch for my funny pipe fittings. It's like a greased pig after 5 seconds of blowtorch.
Ooooh nice idea using a heat gun on the end of plastic pipe. When I help my Dad with plastic sprinkler pipes we use a piece of wood lit with fire. I definetly will show my Dad your idea on youtube tonight. Thanks Lawn Rebel.
No you're the best. I planted 10 dahlias tubers and then it rained and rained and rained and rained. Only one has come up. Idk if I should keep waiting and hope the others come up or plant something else to fill that space in my garden
We do irrigation repairs as part of my landscape business and the Marlex is one of the most common pieces we replace as they are frequently broken. We seldom use them for this reason.
FYI all those extra fittings and 90s result in added pressure losses. People with low water pressure or poorly designed systems could have issues when adding a bunch of fittings.
smokey0066 pressure loss at an individual sprinkler head would be minimal by adding an additional elbow. I agree with you other statement about poorly designed systems.
Looks great! I hope your hand feels better soon. I had a ganglion cyst for a few years. That really put a damper on my mobility, but I also have recurring tendonitis that makes gripping hard.
Connor, I will be up to the house this weekend. I will have to drive by and give a good ol' lookie loo! Maybe yell an obscenity or 2 at ya if your out.
Connor today someone told me that Swingers (not the dancing kind) put pink flamingos or white rocks in their front yard to let others know they are in the 'lifestyle'. PUT YOUR FLAMINGOS OUT QUICK!
I love the additional fitting... I hate installing a sprinkler head then noticing a week later it has pulled crooked after settling. They can't be more than $.50 at the big box stores.
If anyone in the upper midwest is looking for fittings Fleet Farm has a plethora of fittings in all sizes and variations. They lack selection on sprinkler heads though.
Heating that line like that may cause it to become brittle after it cools. It could possibly break sooner than later. Maybe lol, just a guess. At the college we just lubed with a little PT lube and never had an issue with them coming undone. Just my experience AWESOME videos man😊
Look at you Connor posting in the morning instead of late at night! Can't wait to see if you prove all the naysayers wrong that are going to tell you that you can't plant seed in the spring!
I would love to live in a place where the soil in black and rocks are few. Grew up in SW Mo and lived in NW Arkansas, rocks and red clay are everywhere. Now live in S.C. and the soil is a clay sort of concrete that's just as hard to dig in as the rocks where I grew up.
Drive to the hardware store get pipe, drive home, drive back to store to get fittings and heads then drive back home. Drive to get soil, forgot wallet, drive back home... whats up with that dang spot in the lawn that doesn’t grow?
Hey @Connor Ward is that faucet sticking up in the flower bed frost-proof? What do you do in the winter? Need to install some more water sources around my yard but I don't necessarily want those tall frost-proof farm hydrants sticking up everywhere
I really wish there were people exercising and running, walking and riding bikes in the background while you were shooting video. You must live in the middle of no where!
I had to stop riding dirtbikes when I dislocated my lunate bone after jumping off a small ramp. Hopefully you don't have that as well, I could use my hand completely but it felt like a bad sprain. Required surgery to repair.
Does your wrist hurt on the pinkie finger side? Questionable appearance in the carpal bone at the base of the 4th met...🤷♂️. Keep on keepin’ on lawn rebel!
The REAL pisser offer, is I'm sitting here watching this video waiting for a yard of gravel I need to finish my dogs run. It is only 8 hours and counting late today...
Do yall respond to emails and messages about merch purchases? My hubby said he hasnt heard back from you and would like to buy a few items. Loves your vids.
I like your videos because your not trying to sell me something every video. Youre just one of us. Great job!
It’s amazing how a beautiful lawn will make people stop and talk to you about it. Great feeling

Hope you heal fast CW love your channel!
I've never seen anyone use a PVC Cutter like pliers only to then pull out a pair of Channellocks. Keep on rockin' Lawn Rebel.
You use what you have available to you with out having to get up
I been known to use tin snips

Lawn rebel? Meet tool rebel.
I'm going over to my brother's house and now I can fix his sprinkler head for him, thanks Conor!
Good work
your garden is coming together nicely, cant wait to see those beautiful Dahlia get planted
I love it how you chucked your unwanted rocks in your neighbor’s yard
I'm never able to finish in the dark either - always need light 🤘
🤣🤙
🤣🤣🤣
Particularly if he “can’t grip anything with his right hand”
Mmmm dad jokes
I really really really really really can't wait for the 'Connor Uses Explosives' episode.
This fix for flaccid sprinklers totally works!!
Thank you!
Fixed 3 pisser offers yesterday!
For living in a rural area you have a lot of people walking/biking/running by your house! Great work as always!
The thing about making UA-cam videos is. You gotta have a good time doing it. In a way it’s really just for yourself so you can look back and laugh. Great vid 👍🏽
This is so true. Thank you for putting this into perspective for me
I’m experiencing very similar problems with my irrigation and drip lines.
Glad to know I’m not the only one.
The heat gun idea is super smart. Great tip.
I've used that for all my installs. Glad to see others using it as all. World of difference.
Great tip on that fitting! I need to get about 6 of those fittings for my flowerbeds. I use a blowtorch for my funny pipe fittings. It's like a greased pig after 5 seconds of blowtorch.
I like the extra elbow under the sprinkler head. I’ve had a few tilt and will try this next time I need to reposition or straighten. 👍
Finally a How-To video! 😁
"I have some of those around here somewhere, but I just cant find them..."
*goes to hardware store*
Story of my life man
Nice vid Lawn rebel. You know you will get there. And more grass to mow! Thanks.
The video I wanted but needed an hour ago. Crooked sprinkler heads here I come.
Doesn’t matter what type of video you post, always very chill. Putting in the hard work as always!
I know it's going to look great when you finish.
Thanks for the tips Connor. I'll be doing a lot of the same type of sprinkler work very soon.
Ooooh nice idea using a heat gun on the end of plastic pipe. When I help my Dad with plastic sprinkler pipes we use a piece of wood lit with fire. I definetly will show my Dad your idea on youtube tonight. Thanks Lawn Rebel.
Instead of the heat gun, you can also put dawn dish liquid on the fitting barb and it helps the fitting go in easier too.
Better yet, dishwashing liquid in warm water. Dip it and done.
One mirror in and one mirror out? Kind of reminds me of when LL Cool J used to roll up one pant leg. You crazy Dodge guys with your crazy mirrors! 😂
Thanks for that little connector tip. Have a few sprinkler heads in my yard that are tilted.
This video made me want to fill the back of my truck with top soil 😁
There is no greater pisser offer than knowing you have exactly what you need and not being able to find it.
No kidding
Garrett Scott as I always say, having and finding are two different things. 😖
Can’t wait to see what’s in store this year!
Thanks for that tip on the sprinkler fittings, that’s exactly what I need!
No you're the best. I planted 10 dahlias tubers and then it rained and rained and rained and rained. Only one has come up. Idk if I should keep waiting and hope the others come up or plant something else to fill that space in my garden
I am trying to get up the energy to level my lawn. Thanks for the encouragement lol looks tiring. What’s your sprinkler head of choice?
We do irrigation repairs as part of my landscape business and the Marlex is one of the most common pieces we replace as they are frequently broken. We seldom use them for this reason.
Good to know.
Great to see you back out in the yard again. I’m looking forward to some dahlia updates.

Where’s your giant dump trailer? Love that thing, what a beast!!!

I like the way your videos are changing. More educational, less entertaining. 🙂👍

I love the additional fitting... I hate installing a sprinkler head then noticing a week later it has pulled crooked after settling. They can't be more than $.50 at the big box stores.
If you don't have a heat gun a hair dryer works real well too. I used a hair dryer for all of my poly pipe connections.
LOVE your videos man, enjoying everyone of them
It's going to look so good when you have grass on both sides.
nice to see im not the only guy throwing rocks into my neighbors yard.....
Exactly what I was thinking...
Yeah its awesome to be a douche
Always with the lookie-loos!
Thanks for all the awesome vids !

Just a question about your lawn sprayer, when you turn the pump does it drip at all

That's right Conner, chuck those rocks into your neighbor's yard.....🤣🤣🤣👍😎
"You want the funny pipe to come up with its natural curve."
I see you are using mp rotator. Do you have other type of spray head on your property.
He has an older video that covers this
Yooooo!!! You’re in Utah right? Pretty sure you were in the beginning of one of thee Michael Jordan documentary episodes!!!
Oh man i like those videos... greetings from Germany
Drive to the hardware store get pipe, drive home, drive back to store to get fittings and heads then drive back home. Drive to get soil, forgot wallet, drive back home... whats up with that dang spot in the lawn that doesn’t grow?
Sounds like one of my normal weekends 🤣
"This is not a How to channel" - Connor Proceeds to put How to in title. 🤦♂️
Hey @Connor Ward is that faucet sticking up in the flower bed frost-proof? What do you do in the winter? Need to install some more water sources around my yard but I don't necessarily want those tall frost-proof farm hydrants sticking up everywhere
I use boiling water in a jug to and dip the pipe in it, seems to heat and go soft quicker
How to do a sprinkler repair? Fly Connor to my house and get it done! 😎👊☕️
Hey C -Dawg, why are you not screening this top soil? Is it going to be a bed or not mowed?
I was going to suggest you put plastic or a board down on your drive before you dug the trench. Then I remembered I wouldn't have bothered either.
Passer by sounded like the fella from sling blade.
Also why didnt you use thread locking tape which helps seal your connections better?
Tip you can use boiling water to soften pipe to.
I really wish there were people exercising and running, walking and riding bikes in the background while you were shooting video. You must live in the middle of no where!
Yes Connor! Love the content and keep it up brother
Do you not need ratchet clamps on the connections in cold climates?
Good job bro ⭐
I had to stop riding dirtbikes when I dislocated my lunate bone after jumping off a small ramp. Hopefully you don't have that as well, I could use my hand completely but it felt like a bad sprain. Required surgery to repair.
Connor man, tell me about your pants. I need some good work around the house pants and I like those and grey ones you wear. Thanks.
2:20 "Sweetie, let's turn around here so we don't have to walk by the guy filming him blow dry himself..."
you should have put the sprinkler a couple of inches in from the pavers/concrete, so you can edge
Thanks buddy for another great video i injoy them
Very good, thank you for the video!
I always use a blowtorch to heat the pipe.
Did you install your sprinkler system yourself? Or did you paid to have it done?
Point well made about doing the work yourself.......#PRIDEOFOWNERSHIP
Those don't need any hose clamps for those barbed fittings? I have never used anything but pvc pipe for my sprinkler's
This is pvc to funny pipe to sprinkler head. No clamps needed
@@lawnrebel I know it's PVC pipe but the only time I have ever seen it used before was for drip irrigation and not sprinkler's if that makes any sense
...and remember folks, this is NOT a “how to” channel. 👍
Did you call 811 dig safe??
parts number list funny pipe coupling #SBCPLG, 1/2 elbow # 410-005 street ell (MxF) + funny pipe elbow #SBE050 . Hope that helps out.
In all of my really bad wrecks riding the smallest one's always seem to be the most annoying
I hate when the sun knows you need a little more light and sets faster!
Does your wrist hurt on the pinkie finger side? Questionable appearance in the carpal bone at the base of the 4th met...🤷♂️. Keep on keepin’ on lawn rebel!
Should have used plumbers tape on those connections
Cool man
I use my wife’s hair dryer for funny pipe.😁
The REAL pisser offer, is I'm sitting here watching this video waiting for a yard of gravel I need to finish my dogs run. It is only 8 hours and counting late today...
Oh man.. I'm sorry that is a pisser
That is the. Widest trench I've ever seen for a sprinkler pipe
Hand dug with a normal round nosed shovel
There is a company called Ewing’s it’s a national company I think you should find one in your area and go there it’s like a Walmart for lawn nuts
Do yall respond to emails and messages about merch purchases? My hubby said he hasnt heard back from you and would like to buy a few items. Loves your vids.
Its Raining!
Glad nothing broke! I spy some plugs, what’s the next lawn app?
Yo!😎👊🍺☕️
