One of the best parts of Pixar’s new trailer for Inside Out 2 is the fact that fans finally get a good look at ALL 4 of the new emotions that will plague Riley’s Command Center. While they all have their own quirkiness, like Embarrassment’s plumber’s crack and Envy’s adorable tiny size, there is one who surprisingly stands out more than the rest. Ennui, the emotion that you would NOT expect to be the most noteworthy, actually has something that separates her from the rest of the emotions in Riley’s head. Have you guessed it? She has a phone! Be warned though, there might be a shocking reason behind Ennui being the only emotion with a cell phone.

I thought the exact same thing lol. I really don’t know yet, but seeming that their voice actor is a girl, ennui is probably also a girl. Another theory of mine is that maybe they are non binary making that something in the inside out world.
