But in that movie they are not actually brothers. Mufasa is adopted and earns the right to rule so there is a reason for Scar to hate Mufasa. Scar (named Taka in the trailer) rescued him and lost his future crown for it.
I like how the mufasa movie kind of used inspiration from the book for how scar got the scar. Yes, i know it’s not directly a buffalo stampede or anything but the scar was given to taka due to his actions caused by jealousy. i like to think the tale of two brothers is canon to the animated series and the live action remake has their own origin. they’re both basically the same thing tho although i do like the live action one more.
Weird tho, because the lion guard said scar was scarred by a snake with a venom that turned him evil. That in a series that explained why kion was not in lion king 2
(SPOIL ALERT) The new movie Mufasa came out and in the beginning it shows Mufasa with his parents and there was a flood that took mufasa away down the flood and ended up on a log in the water floating and meeting Taka who was walking on land near the river saying Mufasa was gonna die because there was an crocodile in the water about to eat Mufasa so he tried to swim to land but didn’t know how to so Taka tried to help Mufasa and grabbed his paws like how he did when Taka killed Mufasa and Taka saved Mufasa then Taka’s mom came saying his father could not take in a stray but Mufasa told her that he wasn’t a stray he was just lost and he told her about how he got flooded away from his parents and Taka’s mom took that to heart and agreed to bring mufasa to the tree where all the other lions are and Taka’s father said that he would only let Mufasa live if he beats a race with Taka but Taka was faster so he let Mufasa win and then they was running around the lands having fun and singing a song named “I’ve always wanted a brothaa”. My point of this is Mufasa and Taka aren’t biological brothers and Taka was actually supposed to be king instead of Mufasa but the other lionesses honored Mufasa more than Taka because Mufasa saved them and their land so Mufasa ended up being king and the only reason Taka hates Mufasa is because both of them liked Sarabi but Sarabi chose Mufasa and Taka got mad cause he was the first one to like her so he betrayed Mufasa secretly and told the other lions that was hunting them down where they were and Taka said that Mufasa stole his destiny. So as you see Taka is not evil he was just heartbroken and this is the real story of Taka’s and Mufasa’s childhood.
King Ahadi sounds like a two faced father he loved muffusa more than he did scar muffusa was his father favorite child scar should have been treated no different for crying out loud that's your son and saying scar isn't fit to be king also being jealous of his brother that's what sets him to be evil 😈 in the future lion King
Man, I wish this was story for the new Mufasa movie and instead they decided to not use this. The trailer shows they are completely ignoring that this novel exists.
Taka doesn’t immediately mean trash in Swahili, taka means want, that is the first thing one will think of when you mention taka, takataka is the Swahili word trash, taka is like slang only used in some very specific regions. Swahili has such many words where when you join two of the same words the meaning completely changes like “Bara” which means Ocean but when you add another “bara” to the word for it to become “barabara” it then means road.
But the live action says mufasa was adopted after scar saved his life,if so than that was messed up how the king favored his adopted son more than his own son
That’s part of the reason the movie failed. The original books Taka was abused and a rejection to his family except Mufasa whom for some reason never tried to cheer him up
Even so scar committed the sin of killing his brother for the actions of his dad did and that is where he went wrong but I digress that muffasa could have done more as well but did not
In the new mufasa movie trailer it looks like disney changed the story to where mufasa was not scars "blood brother" and ahadi seems like a good father in the trailer so i guess we just have to wait
In the "A Tale of Two Brothers" origin story, You're right that Ahadi could have reassured Taka that the three of them would go on a hunt as soon as possible. Still, as for the rest of the story, it seems that the only reason Ahadi's favoring Mufasa and diminishing Taka is that Mufasa really does understand kingly duties and Taka's a spoiled brat.

in mufasa the lion king Mufasa is not his brother so they changed some things
Word is mufusa was a an orphan and wasn’t even the blood son
Mufasa is good and scar is evil
❤❤❤
You better believe it, yes! God bless you and your family, Ave Maria and Viva Cristo Rey
They should animate this giving the road Disney is on
I can’t wait until the new Mufasa movie is coming out in December and I can’t wait to see if his father actually treated scar like you said
But in that movie they are not actually brothers. Mufasa is adopted and earns the right to rule so there is a reason for Scar to hate Mufasa. Scar (named Taka in the trailer) rescued him and lost his future crown for it.
I think the scapegoating cycle makes a villain at times. Looks like those who were the heroes were actually villains. Scar was the hero all along
Nice video very good and entertaining.😁
Who's here after new Mufasa Movie has been announced?
Weird tho, because the lion guard said scar was scarred by a snake with a venom that turned him evil. That in a series that explained why kion was not in lion king 2
(SPOIL ALERT)
The new movie Mufasa came out and in the beginning it shows Mufasa with his parents and there was a flood that took mufasa away down the flood and ended up on a log in the water floating and meeting Taka who was walking on land near the river saying Mufasa was gonna die because there was an crocodile in the water about to eat Mufasa so he tried to swim to land but didn’t know how to so Taka tried to help Mufasa and grabbed his paws like how he did when Taka killed Mufasa and Taka saved Mufasa then Taka’s mom came saying his father could not take in a stray but Mufasa told her that he wasn’t a stray he was just lost and he told her about how he got flooded away from his parents and Taka’s mom took that to heart and agreed to bring mufasa to the tree where all the other lions are and Taka’s father said that he would only let Mufasa live if he beats a race with Taka but Taka was faster so he let Mufasa win and then they was running around the lands having fun and singing a song named “I’ve always wanted a brothaa”.
That's just for the live action, not the animated timeline.
Ahadi is not Taka’s dad
King Ahadi sounds like a two faced father he loved muffusa more than he did scar muffusa was his father favorite child scar should have been treated no different for crying out loud that's your son and saying scar isn't fit to be king also being jealous of his brother that's what sets him to be evil 😈 in the future lion King
Correct its sad
Why at a few points is his scar on the other side of his face?
Man, I wish this was story for the new Mufasa movie and instead they decided to not use this. The trailer shows they are completely ignoring that this novel exists.
0:49 Well, that's nice...
He does realize they already explained how he got his scar
This is why you don’t pick a favorite child and snub the other
If their father was a king, why does the new Mufasa trailer make it seem like Mufasa has no royal blood at the beginning?
Most male lions only keep one son around in the first place so scar was lucky to still be there?
During the new movie we see that Mufasa was a adopted orphan and scar (Taka) was the son of Obasi and scar was supposed to be the king after obasi
Almost named that boy Kaka, would’ve been worse 😭
Taka doesn’t immediately mean trash in Swahili, taka means want, that is the first thing one will think of when you mention taka, takataka is the Swahili word trash, taka is like slang only used in some very specific regions. Swahili has such many words where when you join two of the same words the meaning completely changes like “Bara” which means Ocean but when you add another “bara” to the word for it to become “barabara” it then means road.
I always think rare people are genuine born evil, but from reality most cases is just poor treatmeant.
Ahadi might give Odin and Thanos a run for their money
The Lion King the tales of the two Brothers shoud've been the Mufasa movie. What I saw ruined many characters
Ahadi and Scar resembles so much
Whats even sadder is scar seems like hes more sore or old than mufasa wich mean he probably just gave up on life after his past 😢
I keep hearing "ah hottie".
Its funny because their father resembles more scar than mufasa.
I sorta feel bad for poor scar 😅🦁🦁
But the live action says mufasa was adopted after scar saved his life,if so than that was messed up how the king favored his adopted son more than his own son
That’s part of the reason the movie failed. The original books Taka was abused and a rejection to his family except Mufasa whom for some reason never tried to cheer him up
Wooo I always new that scar was scared cause they did the same to kovu when he was a cub by grooming him for evil
Now I understand Scar....
I can't wait mufasa the lion king 2024
You will be disappointed 😂
He will die and is specicist towards hyenas.. The end :)
Me neither
I’m so excited ❤
Even so scar committed the sin of killing his brother for the actions of his dad did and that is where he went wrong but I digress that muffasa could have done more as well but did not
December 29th 2024. Here after watching MUFASA. Just eta he’s a deleted scenes video from Lion King. Now I’m watching random Lion King videos
Lion guard was so goody
In the new mufasa movie trailer it looks like disney changed the story to where mufasa was not scars "blood brother" and ahadi seems like a good father in the trailer so i guess we just have to wait
Scar: What i am ?
Ahadi: You are my son
Scar: TELL ME !!!
In the "A Tale of Two Brothers" origin story, You're right that Ahadi could have reassured Taka that the three of them would go on a hunt as soon as possible. Still, as for the rest of the story, it seems that the only reason Ahadi's favoring Mufasa and diminishing Taka is that Mufasa really does understand kingly duties and Taka's a spoiled brat.
ahadi should have treated scar like his mother did and mohatu ahadi's father should have told him the responsibility of a father and a king not just a king
mufasa was adopted
This was 9 months ago
This gave me Thor and Loki vibes
Hi, as a Swahili speaker I’d like to correct you: taka means take not trash (this isn’t hate I just wanted to correct you)
So scar wasn't the real villain after all. He was made that way.
So the new movie doesn't stick to this story mufasa is a lost orphan who takes scars throne
