That was an incredible conversation on polyvagal theory and trauma-healing through the nervous system. I teared up several times because so many things that Sarah said were just so validating to my experience as someone who maybe has complex trauma and spent a lot of life dissociating. Thanks so much for sharing this.
What a wonderful, wonderful interview. Thank you, both Sarahs. She never got the chance to answer the question "how do you go from sympathetic to regulated?" tho. She got interrupted with other questions about fawn ect and never said what would be helpful, they way she did from dorsal to sympathetic and how to get sympathetic out. I know there was some book recommendations at the end.., but still. Would have loved ot hear a specific answer to that question itself.
I am eternally greatful for the quality and information being shared here on this podcast. 🙏🙏🙏 This has brought so much clarity to me and I believe this information can help so many people ❤ Thank you!!!
wow talking about your experience with weed really opened my eyes but for me personally i had a lot of experiences like that with acid and shrooms. i started doing them early in high school with friends every time. my friends would always be having fun, feeling positive, and partying. while i’d be going through what felt like hell, purging, facing my greatest shadows. normally alone hiding in the bathroom lol. i realize now this was because i had a lot of trauma that was being reflected back to me that many of my friends hadn’t struggled with in their lives
This was the absolute best thing that I have ever listened to. What a beautiful gift this was. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I second that! Wow I will be relistening. Thank you so much, incredibly helpful
I so agree with you SR that embodied spirituality is the path.

You are so welcome ❤️
I am so drawn to Sarah’s work! I plan on pursuing training in this work as a therapist.
