Also planes CAN actually tip backwards at the gate (it famously happened to JetBlue) - it's why we wait for something called a tail stand to be in place before we deplane. We're trained to deplane back to front in the rare event we don't have a tail stand.

Tbh I agree. They can be kinda funny but when so much time is spent watching the same cringey monologue or singing over and over, it gets old. When even the people he’s playing with are calling him out for spending so much time deafened to sing along? Love Chilled but man, I’m getting tired of some of those emotes

Lol, personally the alerts are whatever to me (I've said it before but I think platty's is much, much more intrusive than chilled's), but maybe a price gate on the longer, more involved ones can mitigate how often they come up... Didn't do a ton for this particular stream lol, but I imagine they would be less frequent if they were pricier.
@@execrisiscoreonearthI think the main reason for the difference in reaction to alerts is that UA-cam viewers aren't used to seeing those. I personally don't mind the sub or other short alerts anymore because I got used to seeing them everywhere but when it's a constant spam of REEEEALLY long ones it gets annoying quite quickly (look at the last Clue stream for example). I don't remember if this was this stream or not but even Chilled acknowledged the issue when he said he won't play Cotton's alert one more time when somebody whose birthday was that day asked for it because chat will be mad and just wished them happy birthday instead (unless I just didn't get the joke or something). From a strictly UA-cam viewer's perspective even Platy's alerts are better because yes - they are long, yes - he reacts to them and often deafens BUT we neither see nor (more importantly) hear them so it's not really that obtrusive -and Platy looks like a madman as an added benefit- . I understand why UA-cam streams have alerts in them but those who have only watched videos for years and didn't see the alerts regularly (well, we started seeing more of them for quite some time but still not as many because you can cut those out during editing) and now started watching streams purely based on the fact they're on the same platform and can't wait for a normal upload are in for a surprise and thus react negatively if they don't like it. I don't think there is a solution that would be satisfying to everyone so it is what it is.
