Personally I wouldn’t cutt the wiring harness for the 150 cause the bricks would get burned real quick. It’ll do its job regardless without making it run 100% of the time
Nice, bros finally back. Not sure if 034 makes one but I've seen people use upgraded S6 heat exchangers on this platform as its bigger then an aftermarket S4 style and fits pretty good as well.
If you tap the bleed screw area and put a -6an fitting you can run cold through front and have the return aka hot line from the -6an in the back so it eliminates a hot side in the IC bricks so you run cold in the bottom and top and have it exit the back of the brick to the HX and I thought the pump was after the HX and sent cold up to the SC
Just a thought (could be complete BS, so add salt where needed) but on the OEM IC cores, if you run bigger piping and potentially increase pressure in the loop, couldn't that lead to premature leaking in those cores that are already prone to leaking?
@@boerieza potentially. However the actual cause of leaking intercooler is mainly excessive heat and also the lifetime of the intercooler itself. So actually in theory you could very well be prolonging the life of the IC core by keeping it much colder than usual. Elevating heat stress on the intercooler channels therefore prolonging the life. The high pressures do not exceed the strength of the intercooler channels even with double the flow/pressure.
The Mercracing heatexcahnger is THE BEST. I am sorry bro, but this is one part i just straight better. Also the OEM supercharger plastic connection housing looks just better - and don't get me wrong, I am not saying it has better performance, just looks better.
I’ll be reaching out to you to build my rs6 here soon 😆

This is dope I’m running the merc racing high capacity HX so pairing that with everything you just did I’m hoping to maximize cooling. Amazing vid
@@TaransGarage the mercracing high capacity is the best HX. 👍🏻 the 034 one is definitely a beautiful quality piece.
I bought a b8.5 about a year ago, didn’t feel like doing anything to it, now my favorite car Chanel’s buying the s4 and tuning it😂.
What a way to end the week 🎉. Back for good? ❤

great video!
lets go!!! you make me wanna get a b8 to build along side my b9.5 stage 3 😁😁
No reason not to!

That sounds like a huge restriction though
