This whole game is based on stereotypes on how a certain demographic would or wouldn't look like. The point is to focus on inconveniences of stories and values to find out who's the mole. Sometimes they break stereotypes, see beyond them and win the prize, but sometimes they don't and that's how the mole wins (eg: here). So it's a common thing, it has happened in other episodes. And besides we're all guilty of relying on stereotypes so it shouldn't be a big deal as they're making it out to be on the comments.
The Repulicans couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

I feel like that would have helped prove who was a Democrat, because a lot of Republican stances come from a deeply rooted religious belief and therefore that would make it difficult for them to speak badly about their stances.
That would have been a good strategy. Not super foolproof but better than what they did.

The fact that going to college in America is a financial dent still has me in shock, pursuing higher education shouldn’t be a class privilege.
So that’s one issue. Many republicans want their student loans paid off but also want lower taxes, less infringement of constitutional rights, less illegal immigrants and don’t support the slaughter of millions of babies every year. You don’t have to be pro every issue to vote for a party that for the majority supports what matters to you. Most universities are intrinsically liberal to their core so if they really cared about that issue so much and not the almighty dollar they’d make their universities affordable.
Yeah except Democrats will never resolve that. They don’t actually care. I for one am tired of the empty promises. That’s why I don’t identify with either party anymore and think they’re equally as bad one just wears a BLM and Pride mask.
The last few decades University Tuition has been in a feedback loop tuition expensive -> students complain -> politicians provide financial assistance / aide -> Universities raise tuition -> students complain -> politicians provide financial assistance / aide -> Universities raise tuition....
this loop is why tuition has consistently outpaced inflation for the past few decades
The real problem is the institutions. They profit so much
but why should everyone have to pay for your college when not everyone goes to college?
