What a a transformation. That's real talent to bring a darn right hooptie to a car you wouldn't feel embarrassed driving. The rear door damage would be above most flippers capability. Now it looks like a clean used car. You bring top notch quality as always. Can't wait to see the next one. 👍👍

This has been an enjoyable series watching you return this car to a much nicer condition! Especially as an owner of a G6 myself. Just wanted to mention though, the bumper cover does not need to be removed to remove the headlights. It does make it easier. However all you must do is remove the top bumper clips to make room. Then you push the inward side of the headlight under the cover slightly, and pull it out from the side. The top screw bracket will slide underneath the corner of the fender panel and out. It can be a bit of a wiggle, but I've done it several times on my '08, and an '06. Just thought I'd share that. :)

Nicely done! I was told by a body shop that it's OK to wash a recently painted car, but use a mild soap, like Dove liquid dish soap. There is one G6 in my area for sale on Craigslist with 180,000 miles, and they are asking $3,500. It seems to have some dents in a fender, and does not look nearly as nice as yours otherwise. It also has a moon roof (not sure if it's original). Anyway, given that one car benchmark, $3,995 seems about right for your car, but maybe a bit high, but not much. Good luck on the sale!!!

@Scotty secretly loves Chryslers I'm with you I was always told with fresh paint its fine to wash it but use cold water and do it by hand? But hey Mike is the voice of experience so if he says it's fine gotta believe it's fine. Dish soap was always a no/no because it liked to strip the wax off however freshly painted there is no wax to be concerned about so I guess I'm saying "I really don't know" on the soap content of the body shop contents?

Excellent series on this car, which should attract buyers who will pony up the cash in a heartbeat! $3,995 sounds right for a problem-free reliable daily driver in the current market, especially if a potential buyer has seen the videos of your work on it and can appreciate what a good car they're getting. You've earned your money here Mike, so don't even think of discounts!
