I’m Hmong white. Married Hmong ntsuab. A few of my husband’s aunts are Hmong white & married his Hmong ntsuab relatives. I remember during our khi tes party everyone told me, “You married into a Hmong ntsuab family so you NEED and HAVE to learn how to speak our dialect.” Even some of my side of the family told me the same thing. Married for 6 years and I dont speak it fully. I still mix my Hmong white and Hmong green words.😅 It’s hard understanding it at first but the more you’re around it you come to understand and pick up their words without realizing it.
I’m been married to my husband who is Moob Leeg for the past 17yrs and I still only know the basic BECAUSE my husband and his siblings only speak Hmong white even though their parents spoke Moob Leeg 🤣 I guess that’s what happen when they grow up around their Hmong white cousins.

Wow my soul! ❤ I got teary at the end! I'm hmong white and also married into hmong green family. I'm glad my inlaws accepted me as who I am but there was always the pressure and encouragement to learn their dialect. Living with them til this day, I've learned alot in their differences of dialect and culture itself. And I say I've learned enough to speak the bare minimum 😅. Love your music and voice! I’m Hmong white. Married Hmong ntsuab. A few of my husband’s aunts are Hmong white & married his Hmong ntsuab relatives. I remember during our khi tes party everyone told me, “You married into a Hmong ntsuab family so you NEED and HAVE to learn how to speak our dialect.” Even some of my side of the family told me the same thing. Married for 6 years and I dont speak it fully. I still mix my Hmong white and Hmong green words.😅 It’s hard understanding it at first but the more you’re around it you come to understand and pick up their words without realizing it.
I’m been married to my husband who is Moob Leeg for the past 17yrs and I still only know the basic BECAUSE my husband and his siblings only speak Hmong white even though their parents spoke Moob Leeg 🤣 I guess that’s what happen when they grow up around their Hmong white cousins.
