Very suspect. As far as I know, the SL3 has the BSI CMOS Maestro IV processor now, not sure where the difference will be there except the most likely reduction in MP's for video performance. And I thought the SL3 also has hybrid contrast and phase detection AF. Are they mixing it up with the SL2s?
I'm sorry, but this is just a generic blabla with no new information. Leica Users know that the Leica SL3-S is the successor of the Leica SL2-S and not the SL3. It's also not the top model of the SL lineup, which is still the SL3.
exactly. I love Leica, I have the SL2S, SL3, Q2, Q2M and the Leica M-E. I do portraits and street with my Leicas and professional sports but I use two Canon R3's. I have been shooting sports for over a decade and as much as I love Leica, there is NO WAY it can shoot fast action sports. The AF is to slow, it hunts, doesn't stick and the half second delay it takes to actually capture the photo from the time I press the shutter button is a huge negative. I wish it could keep up but it simply can't. I have tested in Domes with professional lighting and also huge outside stadiums with crappy lighting which slows it down even more. Again, I love my Leica's for portraits and street but sports is not it.

Very distinctive paste they wear on their faces called Thanaka to protect against the sun. Also, the writing you see on shops, etc. is Burmese. Maybe I'll contact McCurry Studios to see if this was part of a publicly available video.
