If God wanted it this way, He wanted it this way. Some questions will never be answered until we get to heaven and for now, the best we can do is obey because God created and ordered everything and we did not. So God had the right to make this rule and I believe this wasn’t only Paul’s opinion, but fact and inspired by God. Women can teach other women and children, just not men in the Church. It’s gender roles because women and men are meant to be different.

That's d problem. God never said so or even said it was God's orders.
I believe d idea that women can't be pastors is a misinterpretation of d bible that end up contradicting itself....... The bible isn't wrong about what it said but based on good study and historic research it means different things.....
Here's d proof.... And a lot of male pastors still believe that women shouldn't lead or pastor a church... That's because they don't do much research on it.....
And besides God didn't say that..... Only two verses in d new testament made by Paul argued that... And even Paul contradicts himself if it is true.....
Let's look at this and discuss this..... Ignorance is not good... I've seen women who were called by God to open and lead a church, some to be pastors..... And it's not about weather they are doing because they feel they have d gift... No... It's because God himself called them....
So, why are we putting words in God's mouth.....

If the reason is that women can't preach because there's more susceptibility for the gospel to be construed incorrectly that way, why would women be allowed to teach other women and children? Genuine question, it doesn't make sense to me.

I really enjoyed seeing this here. This video is well done.
As a woman who was saved only 6 years ago and lived the majority of my life as a "pagan" (non-believer), I have to say I see a tie between an increasing dissatisfaction with men's behavior and the increasing takeover of all responsibilities by women. Frankly, I want a man to Act like a Man, not like a boy. And the more women jump in and take over the more likely we are to let men "off the hook" of their responsibilities. Men do have responsibilities after all. Any man who thinks I ought to preach I see as a slacker and someone who has no spine at all. That doesn't mean he might not be afraid, or even worried about preaching, but it SHOULD mean he doesn't just hand it to a woman then kick his heels up and play video games or similar.

YES! Our last church didn't have female preachers but was essentially female-run! Also lukewarm! We are now in a serious biblical church and the emphasis on men being men and leaders is so encouraging, not to mention marriage changing! Having been raised in a non-Christian home I definitely find my hackles going up with certain biblical truths! Which is for the holy spirit to work out in me, not for me to fight against!

The problem is how this verse is translated. Most newer translations say A MAN. The KJV and the YLT translated it correctly. KJV says THE MAN and YLT says it better. It says the HUSBAND. These Scriptures are talking about husbands and wives. A woman is not to be in submission to EVERY man. Only her husband

You didn't mention what Paul told the Corinthians which is also adds an explanation for why women can't teach/preach.
1 Corinthians 14:34 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
And also reinforcing above and Timothy:
1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
If the man is the image of Christ on earth and the woman is the attractive or gloried version of man, then it would be most inappropriate for the man (who received the Word of God from Jesus) to stand there and teach the Word of God to Jesus, ergo, the woman (who received the Word) does not teach the Deliverer of the Word, Jesus.

My dear brother, I’m sorry you got this point completely wrong and out of the context. The context is not about a woman vs men in the church setting, but in her marriage towards her own husband. Yes she has to be quiet, submissive and forbidden to teach her husband who is her head. Not doing so is usurping the authority of her husband in the marriage. She cannot inverse the roles that God established in the family. Even Please consider the use of “AUNTENTEIN”, to take the authority that is not rightfully yours. It’s all about the husband and wife relationship, not the church.
We’ve been misguided by some Bible Translators who gave wrong titles to chapter 12 pointing us to read the text with a church setting mindset.
That was the enemy plan. I’m Dama Safari, willing to discuss further with you on this subject. May the Lord be with you.

It says in Deuteronomy 4:2 (ye shall not add unto the word which I command you. Neither shall ye diminish ought from it. That ye may keep my commandments. Even though paul wrote this, some are saying God doesn't have a clue what is in his book. I believe God is all-knowing. So everything that is in the Bible, God knows. Women already have the most important job. They bring life into this world. God has a certain order for everything we should obey his word.

Phoebe was a servant. Word used is Deacon translation in Greek is Siakovo which means servant.
This is also the same word used in Romans 13:4
Qualifications for Deacons in the church
      1st Timothy 3:8-13
8 In the same way, deacons[a] are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. 9 They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
11 In the same way, the women[b] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.
12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well. 13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.

What we must not forget is that Adam was with Eve when she took the fruit from the devil. She was deceived but Adam was downright disobedient to God because when God told Adam that he should not eat from the fruit of the tree, Eve was not made yet...she was not present at that time and she only knew about it from Adam...even then, she didn't know it well because she told the devil that God said that they should not even touch the tree, which is not true because God told Adam to take care of all the plants and trees in the garden, he didn't tell Adam not to touch the tree...she heard about the tree second hand from Adam...but Adam who knew what God had said, disobeyed Him completely. Why did he not stop Eve by telling her that God had forbidden them to eat of the tree?! He could have stopped her but he is the one who disobeyed God

You are adding a lot of your own context. It is clear you aren't a fan of being told to be quiet which I don't blame you but to state Eve didn't know and it was only through Adam and that Adam was right next to her when the serpent tricked her and that it was MORE disobedient on his part is ridiculous. God explicitly states women were made to be "MANS" helper. I'll agree that in our current society this seems to be a harsh thing to say or even think but that doesn't mean it isn't true or isn't suppose to be followed.

"While the consequence of man having been created before woman was not entirely clear in I Corinthians, the more the church became institutionalized in history, the more Christians came to believe that the order of creation was theologically significant -and the more Christians came to rely upon Genesis 2 as the authoritative account of creation".........so there reali isn't much logic in basing this belief on if god created man first cuz as early Christianity was not this!!!! On rare instances in the Bible, women have been prophets and even one was a Judge. But you do not need to be a preacher in a church to "prophesy." Prophesying is really only delivering the Word of God to your fellow man. That doesn't have to be a sermon. Not everyone is in a church. So prophesying to them around the world on the internet or in other communications reaches those outside of the church. I, technically, prophesied in another post in this comment section by citing Scripture. If you cite Scripture to friends or others in any kind of discussion, you are prophesying.

Evangelizing like street preaching take place outside of the church. And to "keep silence" is not to shut up for your entire church outing. It prohibits speaking at improper times and by improper means -- which would be like teaching men in the church. This would be the role of the man, not woman -- making it improper. It's similar to how gender roles are described in Ephesians 5:22-33

    • @Bible33AD
      @Bible33AD 4 місяці тому

@@Aaronton@Aaronton Ephesians 5 is is not gender roles. Its Christain community living in Christ. English translations put chapter breaks and paragraphs and subheadings dividing the Greek text into something different from original. Also words are added like wives "submit". But not present in the greek... wives unto husbands as to the Lord. Wives what? It's an ellipsis from Eph 5 21... submit one to another. Eives to husbands. Husbands to wives. Then Paul adds about husbands sacrificially living wives. Radical for the Greci-Roman world. Gen 1, Mark 10, Eph 5 21 and 5 31. All about mutuality and oness. Gender roles are only based on biology and physiology not by voice and agency. Headship by Gender/birth is not of Christ.
Also, in Timothy, Paul was not talking about the creation account... It was about 1st degree vs 2nd degree sinner... much insight to be gained from www.tru316.com
The creation design is the two shall be one which Jesus repeats in the New Testament. No hierarchy.
Early church had female leaders and preachers commissioned by the Holy Spirit and women leaders Romans 16 plus a whole host from history. God does not discriminate. The opposite is a Gen 3 mentality. Read not a few verses out of the cannonical pe historical context written to local churches. Read not a few verses while denying the rest of God's word. Read all of Scripture through the eternal standard of the LIVING WORD.

It is more spiritualy healthy to take Paul's opinion on female preachers with a pinch of salt. I think if Paul saw the way in which women have been restricted from sharing and teaching about Jesus, he would be seriously grieved today.

    • @dougmasters4561
      @dougmasters4561 Рік тому

You cannot take scripture with a pinch of salt.
There is a reason it says what it says. Do women as a group equally ask themselves if the history of their pastorship has been good for the church, as opposed to being so concerned with whether they were adequately heard? While being suppressed is no good thing, it in and of itself is not a good reason to twist scripture nor does it absolve anyone from bad decisions they may make in response to it.
I think women as a group should ask themselves, just as men, how best to fulfill the roles described to them which to be honest, there are relatively few definitively spelled out roles.

According to the scripture and not According to worldly wisdom...why are we deceived, the answer is found in Matthew 22:29...
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, NOR THE POWER of GOD.
FOR THIS REASON Jesus COMMANDED us to continue in his word untill we know the truth and THE TRUTH MAKE US FREE...John 8:31-32
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE.
What will KNOWINGTHE TRUTH free us from???? Continuing in the word until will know the truth will make us free from being servants or slaves of sin who commit SIN according to John 8:33-36...
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? [34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. [35] And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
This is possible by the POWER OF GOD for those who continue in Jesus's words until they know the truth. This is why Matthew 22:29 said we are deceived because we do not know the scriptures nor the power of God. The POWER OF GOD is the Gospel of Christ ...Romans 1:16 ...For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL of CHRIST: for it is the POWER of GOD unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
It can make free from sin IN THIS LIFE if we continue in it as instructed by JESUS CHRIST but who can believe this TRUTH today???
God desires that after he saved us by grace through faith, we all should go on to come to the KNOWLEDGE of THE TRUTH....1 Timothy 2:3-4 ...For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to COME UNTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.
This brings us right back to what Jesus commanded in his Gospel as written in John 8:31-36 and as already mentioned above.
If ANYONE including the woman who was DECEIVED as written in 1Timothy 2:14 will OBEY John 8:31-32, then the woman or whoever OBEYS will not be deceived anymore BECAUSE being deceived is SURELY the PROBLEM the woman had in 1 Timothy 2:14 ...And Adam was not deceived, but the WOMAN BEING DECEIVED was in the TRANSGRESSION.
Because of this problem in 1TIMOTHY 2:14, the woman CERTAINLY was in SIN or IN THE TRANSGRESSION. Now if John 8:31-36 is obeyed, then TRANSGRESSION will not happen as a result of someone being deceived unless that person knowingly chooses to sin.
God does not want the WOMAN or ANYONE to be EVER LEARNING and NOT ABLE to come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH as this verses testifies...2 Timothy 3:6-7 ....For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] EVER LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.
Paul who wrote 1Timothy 2:14, also wrote Titus 2:3-4
The AGED WOMEN LIKEWISE, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, TEACHERS of good things; [4] That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Likewise what is the AGED WOMEN being referred to, see the verses above Titus 2:3-4, it says...Titus 2:1-2
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: [2] That the AGED MEN be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
In Luke 2:36-38, Anna was a SERVANT OF GOD and a WOMAN truly allowed of God to speak in the TEMPLE....Luke 2:36-38 ......And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the DAUGHTER of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: SHE was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; [37] And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the TEMPLE, but SERVED GOD with fastings and prayers night and day. [38] And she coming in that instant gave thanks LIKEWISE unto the Lord, and SPAKE OF HIM to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Who did ANNA SPEAK TO in Luke 2:38, she spoke TO ALL.
Likewise who did she speak???? Please see Luke 2:25-34. It was likewise a man of God called SIMEON.
While I am not here to approve anything for anybody, but if we want to speak on any subject then we MUST show all the scriptures and not pick out the ones that say what we like to SAY or HEAR. Everybody should abide in the word as Jesus commanded in John 8:31-36 to know the truth and be made free from sin by THE TRUTH in this life. If after we have known the truth and God appoints us a place to speak, then let that person SERVE GOD ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF TRUTH of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST that they have learnt and LET THEM NOT SPEAK THINGS THAT ARE NOT ACCORDING TO WHAT IS WRITTEN IN SCRIPTURE.

Read the Tru316 series, then you'll have the other side of the translation to make a decision for yourself.

The video gets it all wrong. The Bible isn't saying women shouldn't preach to men but rather not to exercise authority over men
    Should read it right
Preaching in this case is meaning "not to come up with some new interpretation of the message or implication". Women should teach purely on the word as it is, that is not to have interpretation of it

The book of 1 Timothy is all about preserving the truth of the gospel, although it’s sounds a brutal that women should not preach, it is the word of God, I haven’t got anything against women but again it is the Devine order of God

Oh no way, this is the group the runescape clan chat was pushing
They did a terrible job of promoting your site: Defending slavery, constant racism, getting banned for breaking rules and saying it doesn't matter.
Maybe fire whoever you had on advertising for that one.

Did a women write this sermon? It is deceiving because it does not use the pure words of God (King James Bible) but rather Satan's perversion. Also, the church is the PILLAR and GROUND of the truth not a buttress.
    I Timothy 2:12:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
    I Timothy 2:13:
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
    I Timothy 2:14:
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
    I Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

the use of the word buttress carries the same meaning as pillar and ground. if the the kjv is the word of God alone then did the word of God not exist until 1611? that is a long time for us to not have them also is the original greek better than the kjv what about the vulgate?

The weirdest thing to me is how God was able to give the pure version out in 1611, revise in 1760, and again in 1762, 1763, and the finally seal it all up through Benjamin Blayney from Oxford in 1769. All this all before he gave it to Moses, Ezra, Isaiah, David, Solomon, Jerimiah, etc.
Some Greek and English history: 1) F. H. A. Scrivener produced an edition of the Greek New Testament which reflects the Textus Receptus underlying the English Authorized Version, why? 2) The AV was not translated from any one edition of the Greek text, why? 3) The AV translators relied heavily upon the work of William Tyndale and other editions of the English Bible. Thus there were places in which it is unclear what the Greek basis of the New Testament was.

That's weird, I wonder why he attributed it to himself then in the greeting of the letter?
1Ti 1:1-2 -- Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope, To Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

This video is absolutely positively correct in every way. People better listen and learn you can’t change Gods word for any reason. He is the truth the way and the light. No other shall come before him
